Complete Review of Sports Interaction

the online gaming market with a reputation for having one of the most
user-friendly platforms around. Established in 1997, Sports Interaction is the
first online gaming site to be fully licensed and regulated in Canada and Jersey
(the country, not the state) with their headquarters stationed just outside Montreal,
in Kahnawake, Canada. When reviewing sites that come with a good reputation, we find ourselves both
skeptical and excited before we dive in. We’re skeptical because the online
gaming industry has a bad habit of saying everything is great and overlooking
real issues with a site just because they have a cool name or some fancy
graphics. We get excited because we know there’s a possibility we’re going to
stumble upon a new gem in the market and be able to share an awesome gaming
portal with the world. The biggest thing we do with sites that have a good (or bad) reputation is
not to let it jade our views and findings one way or another. We would hate to
fall victim to the self-fulfilling prophecy and say a terrible site is great or
vice versa just because we went into the review with the preset mindset. If
you’ve read any of our reviews before, you know we aim to give the most honest
and in-depth review we possibly can, regardless of it that comes out with the
good, the bad, or the truly ugly. With all that said, let’s dive into Sports Interaction, Canada’s first
licensed and regulated online casino and sportsbook.Sportsbook
It’s fairly clear quickly that Sports Interaction likes to have their
sportsbook in the foreground. When you arrive at the site, you don’t find
yourself on a traditional welcome page that outlines all the different areas of
the site. You find yourself immediately on the main sportsbook page. While we
would probably have opted to have some sort of welcome page, it’s never a bad
thing when a site is clearly proud about one element of their site. The
sportsbook is Sports Interaction’s baby.Let’s start by talking about the different betting options at the site, then
additional features, and then we want to talk about the layout of the entire
section.Betting Options
Regarding betting options, it’s a homerun for Sports Interaction. They have
hundreds of different sporting leagues to choose from with a whole slew of
different bet types under each. The main categories of the sports are always
present, but they hide the leagues that are not in season to prevent any
clutter. Curious how in depth they go? Here are a few examples. For basketball,
they had 28 different countries or leagues offering bets at the time we last
checked on the site. Personally, we’ve never had a huge desire to bet Latvian
basketball, but we now know where to go if we want to. Soccer fan? How about 74
different options the last time that we checked. The point is that the site goes
above and beyond to give you as many sports and leagues to bet on as possible. The interesting thing as well with Sports Interaction is that unlike a lot of
other sites, they offer a lot of betting options on the smaller and more obscure
sporting leagues. Most books will only let you bet on the winner of the game or
something like that for smaller leagues. Sports Interaction seems to have prop
options and different bets available on a ton of the smaller events. We can’t
confirm this, but this sounds like a recipe for a lot of bad lines and possible
opportunities to make some easy money for you.Features
There were two options available at the top of the site that we were ecstatic
to see. The first was the ability to change the language of the site through
their translation system which means that you don’t have to worry about errors
and mistakes through Google Translate which can sometimes not be super friendly
to gambling terminology. Currently, they only have French, but that makes since
being a Canadian company and all.The second was the ability to change the odds site wide into decimal,
American, or fractional. While we wish this feature were universal, it sadly is
not so we have to get out our party pants and celebrate anytime we see it.Layout and Usability
This is where Sports Interaction takes the cake and rises above the rest of
the competition. This is hands down the easiest to navigate sportsbook that this
reviewer has personally ever had the privilege of navigating. On the left-hand
side of the page, the site has your major betting categories that open up into a
drop down menu of the different leagues offered when clicked. When you select a
league, the betting options pop into the middle section of the screen.
Everything is insanely clean and crisp and visually pleasing just to look at.The center of the section starts with the current most popular bets as well
as a convenient list of the live bets available and last minute bets that are
about to close. You can also find a very informative news section at the bottom
that will bring you up to speed on anything you need to know sports related.
Honestly, the site goes above and beyond to make placing your bets as easy as
possible. They even have a favorites tab you can load your favorite sports and
teams into as well as a search function to look up a specific event. We tested
out the search function, and it works extremely well; it’s not just for show.Casino Games
We were expecting the casino section of Sports Interaction to be a bit of an
afterthought due to the fact they had the sports betting section so prominently
posted and no real welcome page. We guess we expected this to be garbage they
were hiding but in fact, the casino experience is really good at sports
interaction. The one thing that is interesting is that they have
the casino games broken up into three tabs – The first two tabs are Playtech games,
while the “Games” tab is all the other providers such as iSoftBet and 1x2gamimg.It’s really not a big deal having the games in multiple spots; and
it doesn’t take away from the experience, so we will
continue on with the review and break all three of the sections down. Just
remember, if you don’t see the casino games you like in the Casino section, keep
reading for the Games section as well because it might be there.Casino Section
Within the casino section, game types are listed on the left-hand side of the
screen with a few popular games advertised in the center of the screen.Card Games
Sports Interaction offered 8 6 card gaming options. The reason for the
strikethrough and the lowering of the game number is that it looks like they had
8 graphics slots but only 6 games, so they just listed 2 of them twice. In
regards to the game graphics, they could use a bit of a facelift if we were
being picky.- Baccarat
- Blackjack Multi-hand 5
- Blackjack Switch
- Caribbean Poker
- Casino Hold’ Em
- Multiplayer Blackjack Surrender
Table Games
The table game graphics seemed to be a step up from the card game offerings.
This time they actually had 8 different games to choose from.- Age of the Gods Roulette
- 3D Roulette
- Video Roulette
- American Roulette
- Craps
- Club Roulette
- European Roulette
- Roulette Pro
Slots
Sports Interaction had 46 different slot options to choose from (at least in
this category). There are actually more games coming in the branded section
below as well as in the games category. The quality of these games was AMAZING.
They did not hold back with the credit card when it came to purchasing games. A
ton of the games were big name games and ones you’d see in a major casino, not
knock offs.- A Night Out
- Alchemists Lab
- Beach Life
- Bermuda Triangle

Progressive Jackpots
There were 11 games offering jackpots at the casino. Surprisingly, the casino
didn’t have the size of the jackpots listed if you weren’t logged into the site.Branded Games
Branded games are the ones that are the most expensive ones for the casino to
purchase. These are the ones that are going to be named after TV shows or other
popular forms of entertainment you are probably familiar with. Bravo to them for
getting 19 branded gaming options.- Ace Ventura Pet Detective
- Age of the Gods
- Age of the Gods: Goddess of Wisdom
- Age of the Gods: King of Olympus

Video Poker
The quality of the games in this section was somewhere between the card game
quality and the slot quality. They had 8 options to choose from.- 10’s or Better
- Aces and Faces
- Aces and Faces – 25 Line
- Jacks or Better
- Jacks or Better – 4 Line
- Jacks or Better – 50 Line

Live Casino
The live casino section of sports interaction offers the ability to play with
a real live dealer at a real live table from the comfort of your own home
through streaming technologies. The site offered the following games:- Baccarat
- Blackjack
- Casino Hold Em
- Roulette
In addition to these four games, they had two variations that we want to
point out that looked pretty cool. They had Immersive Roulette which was a form
of roulette that uses close-up cameras to give you a zoomed in look of the ball
bouncing around into the slots. This is great for people that like to sweat the
ball drop. They also had something called Live Party Blackjack which involves
lower stakes tables, a party host, and a DJ. This is great for anyone looking
for the party atmosphere but doesn’t feel like leaving the house. We’ve never
seen the Live Party Blackjack before, and frankly, it looks like a pretty fun
idea.Games Section

Banking Options
Locating a master chart of the different deposit and withdrawal options was a
challenge as it looks like they only show you what options are available to your
specific country once you log in. While this makes our job tougher as reviewers,
this is ultimately better for you as a user. You won’t have to sift through
options to see which work for you; you’ll only see the options that are
available to you. The only time this might be annoying is if you want to see
what options are available before you open an account. We spent some time digging around and were able to find most of the available
options as well as some basic information with each.Deposit Options
- Visa
- Mastercard
- Interac Etransfer
- Instadebit
- iDebit
- Instant Banking
- eCheck
- PaysafeCard
- NeoSurf
- EcoPayz
- Interac Online
From the options we were able to dig further into, it looks like there is a
minimum deposit of $20 for almost all of the options here. The good news is that
every option we checked had no fees whatsoever associated with depositing.Withdrawal Options
We’ve included the notes about each option that we were able to find. This
information wasn’t prominently posted but could be found in the rules and regs
of the site. It looks like almost all of the options gave you one free
withdrawal per month and subsequent withdrawals had a small fee associated. It’s
important to note that the size of the fee was significantly smaller than the
industry average. Our guess is they are only charging exactly what it costs them
to process the withdrawal.Checks
Stop Payment of checks issued carry a fee of CAD $35.
EcoCard
There is one free EcoCard withdrawal per calendar month, for any subsequent
EcoCard withdrawals in the same month, a fee of 3% of the withdrawal amount will
be charged to your account.Instadebit
Customers receive one free Instadebit withdrawal per month. Any subsequent
Instadebit withdrawal in the same month will incur a processing fee of CAD $2.
To be eligible to use Instadebit as a withdrawal option you must first make a
deposit using Instadebit.Instant Echecks
Customers receive one free Instant Echecks withdrawal per month. Any
subsequent Instant Echecks withdrawal in the same month will incur a processing
fee of CAD $2. To be eligible to use Instant Echecks as a withdrawal option you
must first make a deposit using Instant Echecks.Wire Transfers
We allow one free Wire Transfer withdrawal per calendar month. Any subsequent
Wire Transfer withdrawal in the same month will incur a fee of CAD $7.All Wire Transfer or Instant Banking withdrawals returned citing invalid or
incomplete banking details will be subject to the fees charged to Sports
Interaction by our Provider.Wire Transfers

Surprisingly and strangely odd, we weren’t able to locate any bonus
promotions on the site for the sportsbook or for the casino. We spent a decent
amount of time navigating around looking for it but didn’t have any luck. We
were even able to locate the sitemap and find a bonus promotion link that went
to a dead page. What we assume is that they do have promotions, but they have a
problem with the link to the page that they are advertised on.We will reach out to the site and see what we can find out for you.
Customer Service
Regarding customer service at Sports Interaction, we don’t really have any
complaints! The site has a very in-depth FAQ section with a working search function that seems to do a
great job of addressing a lot of common issues. In addition to the self-serve options, the site offers phone and contact form
help. Sports Interaction says they aim to answer all contact form requests
within four hours, but during rare occasions, they can take up to 24 hours to
get back to you. Finally, if the above methods aren’t working for you, they also offer a
24-hour live chat option. The response time was phenomenal, and my questions were
answered almost immediately. Personally, I’d just go for the live chat if I had any
questions, rather than sort through the faq’s.Conclusion
Overall, we were pretty dang pleased with what we saw at Sports Interaction.
Right off the bat, it’s great to see a site that is licensed through a country
like Canada as that means they are going to be held to a higher standard of laws
and regulation. The sportsbook at Sports Interaction is one of the best laid out and the most
user friendly. Other sites should take note of how they’ve done things and try
their best to emulate it. The casino is surprisingly not an afterthought, but a
site section that is good enough to operate on its own if it had to. The game
quality of the slots was incredible with a ton of branded games and games that
you would see in a real brick and mortar casino.Sports Interaction is a win in our book, especially for players that live in
Jersey or Canada. This review was made by: GamblingSites.org Rating: 4 out of 5
