WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event 38 Odds and Picks

The upcoming WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event card features three exciting title fights. Gunther, Bron Breakker, and Rhea Ripley will put their titles on the line. Also, Braun Strowman faces Jacob Fatu in a battle between two of the toughest wrestlers on the roster today.

This guide will break down the latest Saturday Night’s Main Event WWE odds for this Saturday’s event. I will also tell you my predictions using the latest odds from top wrestling betting sites.

WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event 38 Match Card

• Gunther (c) vs. Jey Uso for the World Heavyweight Championship
• Bron Breakker (c) vs. Sheamus for the WWE Intercontinental Championship
• Braun Strowman vs. Jacob Fatu
• Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Nia Jax for the Women’s World Championship

Jey Uso, Sheamus, and Nia Jax all have a chance to claim gold on Saturday. However, Gunther, Bron Breakker, and Rhea Ripley will not give up their titles without a fight.

This is the second Saturday Night’s Main Event in as many months. The event returned in December after a more than 15-year hiatus. It is scheduled for January 25th, 2025, a week before this year’s Royal Rumble.

In addition to the four matches above, there will be a contract signing between Cody Rhodes (c) and Kevin Owens for their ladder match at the Royal Rumble. WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels will moderate the signing, and someone will definitely go through a table.

WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event 38 Odds

With only four matches on this card, fans and bettors must be extra careful with their Saturday Night’s Main Event 38 wagers. BetOnline has competitive odds for all four matches. Here are my predictions for all four matches on this weekend’s card.

Gunther (c) vs. Jey Uso

• Gunther (c) (-4000)
• Jey Uso (+900)

Starting with the likely main event, Gunther (c) will put his World Heavyweight Championship on the line against Jey Uso. Gunther is a -4000 favorite to retain his belt against Uso on Saturday. Uso, on the other hand, is listed at 9-1 odds to win his first world title.

Gunther defended his belt at the last Saturday Night’s Main Event in December. He beat Finn Balor and Damian Priest in a triple-threat match.

This match came together quickly, with Uso challenging Gunther to this match on the January 13th episode of Raw. Gunther accepted the challenge, but not without insulting Uso first. The two faced off again on the January 20th episode, exchanging blows, and Uso came out on top.

Uso has struggled in singles competition, but the fans love him, and WWE is doing their best to push him. He could be a world champion someday, but it will not be this weekend. Gunther will win and retain his belt against Uso on Saturday.

Bron Breakker (c) vs. Sheamus

• Bron Breakker (c) (-1000)
• Sheamus (+550)

The Intercontinental Championship will also be on the line this weekend. Bron Breakker (c) is a -1000 favorite to retain his belt in the latest Saturday Night’s Main Event odds. Sheamus, the challenger for Breakker’s belt, is listed at +550.

Sheamus needs to win the Intercontinental title to become a Grand Slam champion. The Celtic Warrior could achieve that feat before his retirement, but it will not happen this week.

Breakker’s first run with the IC title was cut short so Jey Uso could win his first singles title on the main roster. The title change was unexpected, but Breakker did business like a pro. Breakker regained the belt in October and has nearly doubled the length of his first reign.

If there is a title change on Saturday, this is where it will happen. However, I doubt the WWE will derail Breakker’s momentum again with another short title reign. There is no reason for Breakker to drop the belt, and he should beat Sheamus in a competitive, albeit quick, match.

Braun Strowman vs. Jacob Fatu

• Braun Strowman (+1200)
• Jacob Fatu (-5000)

The only non-championship match on this WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event card pits Braun Strowman against Jacob Fatu. Strowman was assaulted by Fatu and the rest of The Bloodline weeks ago and returned last week to assist LA Knight against Fatu and Tama Tonga.

Solo Sikoa, the leader of The Bloodline, is back at square one after losing to Roman Reigns on Raw’s Netflix debut. With Solo no longer the “Tribal Chief,” this is the perfect time to elevate the star power of Fatu.

It has been over two years since Strowman had a singles match at a PLE event. He beat Omos at Crown Jewel in 2022.

Despite his lack of recent significant singles competition, Strowman is a former champion and is a good opponent to help build Fatu into the monster he should be. Fatu will win and take another step toward being a singles star. 

Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Nia Jax

• Rhea Ripley (c) (-7500)
• Nia Jax (+1400)

Last but not least, Rhea Ripley will put her Women’s World Championship on the line against Nia Jax. Ripley won the belt from Liv Morgan earlier this month on Raw’s Netflix debut. On the other hand, Jax lost her titles the week before when Tiffany Stratton cashed in her Money in the Bank contract.

Her reign lasted 153 days, but Jax is unlikely to win another title so soon. Ripley is unlikely to lose her belt after winning it a few weeks ago. Rhea’s last reign with the Women’s World Championship lasted 380 days and only ended when she vacated the title due to an arm injury.

These powerhouses squared off at Crown Jewel in 2023 in a fatal five-way, which Rhea won. Ripley also beat Jax one-on-one in front of Rhea’s home crowd at Elimination Chamber: Perth.

Jax was one of Ripley’s final successful defenses in her previous reign before her injury. So, it is fitting that Ripley will face Jax again in her first PLE title defense of her new reign. Ripley is the biggest favorite on the card at -7500, and she will retain her belt against Jax.
