WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event returns this weekend for a five-match card at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum. The 37th edition of this PLE has four title matches, including the crowning of the first-ever WWE Women’s United States Championship.

This wrestling betting guide highlights the latest WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event 37 odds from the best WWE betting sites. I will tell you the latest odds and give my predictions for this event.

BetOnline Sportsbook provided the WWE odds for this PLE event.

WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event 37 Match Card

The first Saturday Night’s Main Event in WWE took place in May 1985, and it has been a semi-regular PLE since. There were 24 Main Events before the end of the 1980s, but the event began to fade in popularity as other PLEs emerged. After the 31st edition of the PLE in October 1992, the next Saturday Night’s Main Event did not occur until 2006.

Nearly four decades after the first event, and 16 years since its last appearance, Saturday Night’s Main Event returns to Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum for the 37th edition of this unique PLE. Here is the match card for WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event 2024.

  • Bayley or Chelsea Green vs. Michin or Tiffany Stratton
  • Liv Morgan (c) vs. Iyo Sky
  • Gunther (c) vs. Finn Balor vs. Damian Priest
  • Sami Zayn vs. Drew McIntyre
  • Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Kevin Owens

The WWE Women’s United States Championship tournament is down to four women, and the finalists will be decided on Friday Night SmackDown. The finalists will face off the next day for the right to be the inaugural Women’s US Champion.

Three other titles will also be on the line this weekend. Liv Morgan will defend her Women’s World Championship against Iyo Sky, and Cody Rhodes will put his Undisputed WWE Championship on the line against Kevin Owens. Gunther, who defended his belt at Survivor Series two weeks ago, will compete in a triple threat against Finn Balor and Damian Priest.

Finally, the only non-title match on this edition of WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event is a grudge match between Sami Zayn and Drew McIntyre. This is McIntyre’s first match since his Hell in a Cell match against CM Punk at Bad Blood.

WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event 37 Odds

The powers that be have pulled out all the stops for the first WWE Saturday Night’s Main event in nearly two decades. Here are the current odds for this weekend’s PLE.

Bayley or Chelsea Green vs. Michin or Tiffany Stratton

Two new Women’s championships were announced last month: the WWE Women’s United States Championship and the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship. Tournaments will decide the inaugural champions for both belts.

SmackDown announced its new belt first, and the first Women’s US Champion will be decided this weekend at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event 2024. Four women remain in the tournament: Bayley, Chelsea Green, Michin, and Tiffany Stratton.

Bayley faces Chelsea Green, and Michin takes on Tiffany Stratton in the semifinal this Friday. The winners will battle it out on Saturday. BetOnline Sportsbook will have odds on this match when the participants are finalized.

I think Bayley will defeat Tiffany Stratton in the finals on Saturday. Bayley is a veteran and a multi-time champion, so she will immediately bring legitimacy to the new belt. Stratton is a rising star, but she already has the Money in the Bank briefcase, so she does not need a belt as well.

Liv Morgan (c) vs. Iyo Sky

  • Liv Morgan (-5000)
  • Iyo Sky (+1200)

Bayley is not the only former champion who could reclaim gold this weekend. Iyo Sky, Bayley’s former Damage CTRL stablemate, faces Liv Morgan (c) for the Women’s World Championship. Sky entered 2024 as the WWE Women’s Champion but lost her belt to Bayley at WrestleMania 40.

I have no doubts that Sky will be champion again one day, but I do not think she will defeat Morgan this weekend. The oddsmakers at secure betting sites agree, listing Morgan as a -5000 favorite on Saturday.

Sky, conversely, is a +1200 underdog. The former champion has grown into an ally lately for Reha Ripley, but their growing friendship could be disrupted by their conflicting quests for Morgan’s title. Morgan also has to worry about Tiffany Stratton, the reigning Ms. Money in the Bank, who could cash in on the winner of this match.

Morgan’s title reign is one of the driving forces in her ongoing feud with Ripley. The champion will also have the help of Raquel Rodriguez. Considering that, I think Morgan will hold the belt until she and Ripley can settle their issues in the ring once and for all.

  • Prediction: Liv Morgan (c) -5000

Gunther (c) vs. Finn Balor vs. Damian Priest

  • Gunther (c) (-2000)
  • Finn Balor (+650)
  • Damian Priest (+750)

Another champion who is a heavy favorite to retain their belt this weekend is Gunther. The World Heavyweight Champion is a -2000 favorite in the latest WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event odds at BetOnline.

Gunther faces Finn Balor (+650) and Damian Priest (+750) in a triple-threat match on Saturday. The Ring General beat Priest for the belt at SummerSlam, and defeated him again at Survivor Series WarGames. At the end of November. However, both of Gunther’s wins over Priest came due to interference from Balor.

This match was originally a singles match between Gunther and Balor. However, due to Balor’s interference in Priest’s title matches and their history of attacking each other on RAW lately, Priest was added to this match.

Priest and Balor have feuded for months, and their kayfabe hatred for one another will give Gunther the edge this weekend. Gunther will retain his title, and this match will help set up another Balor vs. Priest match at a future PLE.

  • Prediction: Gunther (c) -2000

Sami Zayn vs. Drew McIntyre

  • Sami Zayn (+400)
  • Drew McIntyre (-700)

Nearly every match at this iteration of WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event is a title match. The lone exception is the singles match between Sami Zayn and the returning Drew McIntyre.

Zayn’s renewed association with The OG Bloodline spurred Mcintyre’s attack in the latter’s return after Survivor Series. McIntyre’s feud with CM Punk was one of the best storylines of the year, and a program with Zayn could be a stepping stone for the Scottish Warrior to get back in the title picture.

BetOnline lists McIntyre as the -700 favorite in his return match, with Zayn being the +400 underdog. Zayn had one of the best moments of his career earlier this year when he dethroned Gunther for the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 40. His reign lasted 119 days, and Zayn has struggled in singles competition since.

McIntyre needs a win to reestablish himself as a top heel in the company. Zayn, on the other hand, will be a role player in the continuing Bloodline storyline regardless of the outcome of this match. With that in mind, I think McIntyre will take out Zayn for his first PLE win since SummerSlam in August.

  • Prediction: Drew McIntyre -700

Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Kevin Owens

  • Cody Rhodes (-400)
  • Kevin Owens (+250)

The final match on this year’s Saturday Night’s Man Event card is for the Undisputed WWE Championship. Cody Rhodes (c) is a -400 favorite to retain against Kevin Owens (+250).

This is Owens’ second PLE title match against Rhodes this year. Rhodes beat Owens at Bash in Berlin, and I think the American Nightmare will take out KO again this weekend. Owens has not held a singles title since 2017 and has struggled in singles competitions on PLEs in recent years.

Rhodes will likely hold the title until at least WrestleMania 41; however, the reigning Undisputed Champion is the smallest favorite on this weekend’s card. A -400 favorite is a big favorite in most sports, but it is relatively small in WWE betting.

For reference, Rhodes was a -6000 favorite against Owens at Bash in Berlin. Despite having lower odds than he did the first time around, Rhodes will beat Owens again this Saturday.

  • Prediction: Cody Rhodes -400
