Three NFL Players

An extra day of games is giving football fans the chance to make exciting NFL prop bets for Saturday. There are three games scheduled on Saturday, and they all have playoff implications.

Football betting sites have hundreds of betting markets available for these stand-alone games. You can wager on players from all six teams involved using player props. Your props can hit even if the team you are rooting for comes up short.

Keep reading to see the best Saturday NFL props for Week 15. I will break down my favorite bets and tell you why you should wager on these players this weekend.

NFL Prop Bets for Saturday

The NFL has scheduled three games on Saturday for Week 15 this season. Here are the games taking place a day early this weekend:

  • Cincinnati Bengals (7-6) at Minnesota Vikings (7-6)
  • Pittsburgh Steelers (7-6) at Indianapolis Colts (7-6)
  • Denver Broncos (7-6) at Detroit Lions (9-4)

All six of the teams involved have a winning record. They are also all fighting for a playoff spot in their respective conferences. In the case of the Lions, they are fighting for playoff positioning in the top-heavy NFC.

Here are my favorite Week 15 NFL odds to bet on for these Saturday games. The odds for these wagers were provided by Bovada Sportsbooks.

Minnesota Vikings: T.J. Hockenson Over 52.5 Receiving Yards (-115)

The Minnesota Vikings are coming off a win in one of the lowest-scoring games in NFL history. They beat the Raiders 3-0 last week. It was the first game since 2007 to only score three total points.

Minnesota’s offense will need to be a lot better this week to keep up with the Cincinnati Bengals. That could be easier said than done, as QB Nick Mullens will be getting his first start of the season.

Mullens will need a big game from TE T.J. Hockenson. WR Justin Jefferson briefly returned from IR for last week’s game but was injured in the contest. If Jefferson is not 100%, then Hockenson will likely get more opportunities.

Sports betting sites have Hockenson listed at over/under 52.5 receiving yards. I believe he will get enough targets to rack up at least 60 yards this weekend. With that in mind, I would take the over in this Saturday NFL props wager.

Prediction:

T.J. Hockenson over 52.5 receiving yards (-115)

Cincinnati Bengals: Jake Browning Over 1.5 Passing TDs (+110)

Football sportsbooks also have odds available for players on the Bengals in Week 15. Cincinnati has been surprisingly competitive in recent weeks despite starting a backup QB. The Bengals need QB Jake Browning to continue to play well if they want to sneak into the playoffs.

Browning is listed at over/under 1.5 passing TDs for this contest against the Vikings. Minnesota has only allowed 15 passing TDs this season, among the fewest in the league.

I believe that Browning and the Bengals’ offense can provide a real challenge for Minnesota. Cincinnati has a ton of weapons on offense, and they have scored consistently the last two weeks with Browning at the helm. They torched the Jaguars’ defense, which had been one of the better units in the league.

Browning had two passing TDs last week, and I think he will do it again this weekend. I would take the over in this total passing TDs prop bet.

Prediction:

Jake Browning over 1.5 passing TDs (+110)

Pittsburgh Steelers: Pat Freiermuth Over 3.5 Total Receptions (+130)

The second game schedule for Saturday pits the Pittsburgh Steelers vs. the Indianapolis Colts. Pittsburgh is coming off back-to-back embarrassing losses. The Steelers gave the Cardinals and the Patriots the third wins of their respective seasons.

To make matters worse, the Steelers once again have to start Mitch Trubisky at QB. Kenny Pickett is still recovering from ankle surgery, so Trubisky will once again be under center. Trubisky has long been the embodiment of bad QB play, so it is hard to be optimistic about anyone on the Steelers’ offense.

I do like TE Pat Freiermuth’s total receptions betting market. Bovada has Freiermuth listed at over/under 3.5 receptions. The over option is available at +130 odds.

Freiermuth had a season-high nine receptions in Week 12. He has also had three receptions in each of the last two games. I think he can get to four catches this week against a Colts team that just gave up 34 points to the Jake Browning-led Bengals.

Prediction:

Pat Freiermuth over 3.5 total receptions (+130)

Indianapolis Colts: Zack Moss Over 91.5 Total Yards (-115)

The other side of this matchup of potential AFC playoff teams is the Indianapolis Colts. Indy’s offense has been ravaged by injuries this season. The Colts will have to rely on backups QB Gardner Minshew and RB Zack Moss to get them to the postseason this year.

Moss has played well this season when starting RB Johnathan Taylor has been out. Indy needs another big game from Moss this week to continue their push for a Wild Card spot.

Bovada has Moss listed at over/under 91.5 total yards in the latest Week 15 NFL odds for this game. He has not had 90+ total scrimmage yards since Week 5, when he exploded for 195 total yards against the Titans. JT returned after that game, which cut into Moss’s touches.

Moss should get enough total touches to reach 90 total yards this weekend. Pittsburgh’s defense allowed the ghost of Ezekiel Elliot to rack up 140 total yards last week. I would take the over in this prop wager.

Prediction:

Zack Moss over 91.5 total yards (-115)

Denver Broncos: Courtland Sutton Over 53.5 Receiving Yards (-115)

Rounding out the schedule for Week 15’s Saturday games is the Denver Broncos at the Detroit Lions. Denver (7-6) has won six of its last seven games after starting the year 1-5.

A big part of Denver’s mid-season turnaround has been the consistent play on offense. The Broncos offense has been playing a lot better this season now that Sean Peyton is in charge. WR Courtland Sutton has solidified himself as Denver’s WR1 and has 10 TDs this season.

Sutton is listed at over/under 53.5 receiving yards for this Week 15 matchup in Detroit. He has at least 61 receiving yards in each of the last four games. I believe he will hit that mark again and cover the over in this player props wager.

Prediction:

Courtland Sutton over 53.5 receiving yards (-115)

Detroit Lions: David Montgomery Over 64.5 Rushing Yards (-120)

The Lions are looking to bounce back after another disappointing performance against an NFC team. Detroit lost to the Chicago Bears 28-13 last week. Despite the loss, the Lions (9-4) are still squarely in control of the division.

RB David Montgomery had another good game against his former team. The fifth-year RB racked up 85 total yards on just 13 touches. Montgomery had 10 rush attempts for 66 yards in the contest.

Bovada has Montgomery listed at over/under 64.5 rushing yards for Saturday’s game against the Broncos. He has covered that total in eight of his 10 games played this season.

Eight of the TDs the Broncos allowed in their 70-20 loss to the Dolphins came on the ground. Denver’s run defense has been better as of late, but they still need a lot of work when it comes to stopping the run. The Lions should be better this week since they are at home and in a dome, and I would take the over in this bet.

Prediction:

David Montgomery over 64.5 rushing yards (-120)

Best Week 15 NFL Saturday Games Parlay

Player props are great betting options on their own. But they can be even more fun, and more rewarding, when you combine them in a parlay using Bovada’s parlay builder. Here is the parlay I would make based on the NFL prop bets for Saturday’s games.

  • Jake Browning over 1.5 passing TDs (+110)
  • Zack Moss over 91.5 total rushing and receiving yards (-115)
  • David Montgomery over 64.5 rushing yards (-120)
  • Parlay odds: +620

I like the player props for Sutton, Freiermuth, and Hockenson individually. However, I do not trust any of their QBs enough to place them in a parlay. The three-leg parlay above offers +620 payout odds.
