Quarterback Patrick Mahomes and golfer Xander Schauffele, two of the best at their respective sports, are tied for the 12th-best odds at +1200. After Mahomes and Schauffele, there are eight celebrities tied for the 14th-best odds at +1600. Included in that group are actor Johnny Depp, rapper Eminem, and NBA star LeBron James.
Joe Rogan (+175)
The current favorite to be the next celebrity to endorse Trump is UFC commentator, comedian, and podcast host Joe Rogan. Rogan has built a massive following through his podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience, and has a variety of guests appear on his show.
In previous episodes of his podcast, Rogan favored Trump over Biden. However, now that Biden is not in the race, it is yet to be seen if Rogan will officially endorse Trump. Rogan has also had Robert F. Kennedy Jr. on his podcast before and has said he would endorse RFK over Trump or Harris.
His support of RFK does not mean that Rogan will not eventually support Trump, though. According to reports, RFK attempted to get a job in Trump’s presidency in exchange for his endorsement. If RFK does drop out and endorse Trump, then his supporters, including Rogan, could throw their support behind Trump as well.
Guy Fieri (+400)
The celebrity with the next best odds to endorse Trump is well-known chef and TV personality Guy Fieri. Fieri is listed at +400 to endorse Trump, tying him for the second-best odds of any celebrity in this betting market.
While the Mayor of Flavortown might seem like an odd choice for this wager, Fieri could be closer to endorsing Trump than you might think. He has been seen with the former President multiple times in public, including at UFC 290.
Fieri has been criticized for his association with Trump, including by musician Jack White and the late Anthony Bourdain. Despite the criticisms that would likely roll in, Fieri could publicly endorse Trump to try and help turn momentum back toward Trump. Given the recent switch in betting odds in favor of Harris, Trump could certainly use the Mayor of Flavortown’s help.
Scottie Scheffler (+400)
You do not have to listen to Trump speak for very long to know that he fancies himself as a talented golfer. The former President has long been associated with pro golfers, including Bryson DeChambeau, and owns several courses. Earning the endorsement of the top golfer in the world would be, if nothing else, a great personal achievement for Trump.
Scottie Scheffler, the current top-ranked golfer in the world, is tied with Fieri at 4-1 odds to be the next celebrity to endorse Trump. While it would likely boost Trump’s mood, I think it is unlikely that a Scheffler endorsement would actually help the former President win over new voters.
Shooter McGavin (+600)
Fans of 1990s comedies will recognize Shooter McGavin from the hit Adam Sandler movie Happy Gilmore. The fictional golfer, portrayed by actor Christopher McDonald, was Sandler’s nemesis in the film.
Receiving an endorsement from a fictional golfer would be odd, but it would be far from the weirdest part of Trump’s 2024 campaign. Also, it could be a great way for McDonald to promote the upcoming sequel, Happy Gilmore 2.
Rob Mariano (+800)
Three celebrities are tied at +800 odds to endorse Trump in 2024. The first is Survivor star Rob Mariano, better known as Boston Rob. BetOnline has the reality TV star tied with professional eater Joey Chestnut and actor Adam Sandler.
Boston Rob has appeared in several seasons of Survivor and has even branched out to other reality TV competitions, like The Amazing Race and Deal or No Deal Island. However, he has not been as public with his political views as other TV personalities. That could all change, though, if Mariano comes out publicly to support Trump.
Joey Chestnut (+800)
Another celebrity listed at +800 to enforce Trump is professional eater Joey Chestnut. Chestnut is the best hot dog eater of all time, but he was banned from defending his title at the 2024 Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest. He also made headlines in 2020 for criticizing Trump’s hot dog eating technique.
Chestnut has not publicly criticized Trump’s policies, though. He would not be the first former critic of Trump to endorse him, either. Even JD Vance, Trump’s current running mate, has heavily criticized the former President in the past on more important issues than how he eats a hot dog.
Adam Sandler (+800)
Rounding out the top seven is actor, comedian, and movie producer Adam Sandler. As I mentioned above, Sandler’s sequel to one of his biggest films, Happy Gilmore, is coming out soon. Publicly endorsing Trump could help Sandler garner a lot of attention for the upcoming film.
Sandler has been criticized in the past for allegedly donating to Trump, but those rumors turned out to be false. Unlike Rob Schneider and other stars of Sandler’s films, Sandler himself has not officially endorsed the former President publicly. Sandler has donated to Republican candidates in the past, though, and he performed at the 2004 RNC.
Next Trump Celebrity Endorsement Prediction
There are just under three months until the 2024 election, but that is plenty of time for celebrities to officially endorse any of the candidates in this year’s race. Only one famous person can be the next celebrity to officially endorse Trump, though.
Rogan (+175) is the favorite, but he has continued to endorse RFK over Trump or Harris. I believe Rogan will endorse Trump if RFK drops out, especially if RFK supports Trump. However, there is no guarantee that RFK will drop out of the race.
With that in mind, I would avoid betting on Rogan in this futures wager. Instead, I would bet on Scottie Scheffler. Trump likes to associate with top golfers, and Scheffler is likely on his wish list of golf partners. All four majors have passed, too, so Scheffler has more time to spend on other interests instead of focusing on winning another major title.
