The Top NFL Player Prop Bets for Saturday (1/6)
This weekend is your last chance to bet on Saturday NFL player props in the regular season. Week 18 will feature two AFC divisional matchups, both of which have major playoff implications.
Pittsburgh heads to Baltimore and needs a win to have a shot at making the postseason. Then, the Texans take on the Colts in a win-and-get-in scenario for both teams. You can bet on the NFL online and wager on exciting player props for both of these matchups.
Keep reading to see the latest NFL Week 18 player props for Saturday’s doubleheader. I will break down my favorite bets for each matchup and give you my predictions.
Saturday NFL Week 18 Player Props
The NFL has handcrafted a Week 18 schedule that puts teams fighting for a playoff spot in prime time spots. It starts on Saturday with the Steelers heading to Baltimore needing a win to keep their playoff hopes alive. Then, the Texans face the Colts with the AFC South crown potentially being on the line.
Here are my favorite NFL Week 18 player props, with odds courtesy of Bovada Sportsbook.
Pittsburgh Steelers: Mason Rudolph Over 197.5 Passing Yards (-130)
The resurgence of Mason Rudolph will continue for at least one more week. Rudolph will start for the Steelers in the regular season finale. The 2018 third-round pick has completed 35 passes for 564 yards in his two starts so far this season.
Highest Pass Rating this season

Brock Purdy 113.0
Dak Prescott 104.2 pic.twitter.com/zc1DhQR3nr— NFL on CBS 🏈 (@NFLonCBS) January 2, 2024
The offense has looked better with Rudolph under center, especially compared to how it looked under Mitch Trubisky. However, Rudolph will face his biggest test of the season this week against a stingy Baltimore defense.
Baltimore is resting starters on offense as the Ravens have already locked in the number one seed. However, the defense will have plenty of motivation to try and end the Steelers’ season.
Bovada has Rudolph listed at over/under 197.5 passing yards for this Week 18 matchup. Rudolph has had at least 274 in both of his starts this season. I do not think he will get close to 270 this weekend, but Rudolph should at least be able to top 200 this weekend.
Mason Rudolph over 197.5 passing yards (-130)
Baltimore Ravens: Gus Edwards Anytime TD Scorer (+185)
As I mentioned above, the Ravens are sitting multiple offensive stars, including QB Lamar Jackson. The running game should still be a big part of the game plan against Pittsburgh, though. That means that RB Gus Edwards could be in for a big day at the offense.
Edwards has a career-high 13 rushing TDs this season, including at least one in the last three games. He is listed at +185 to score again this weekend against the Steelers.
The biggest question for me is the amount of playing time Edwards gets. He is the Ravens’ defacto RB1, so they will likely want to get him some rest and limit his chances of injury. If he does play at least a half, though, then Edwards should have plenty of success against the Steelers’ run defense.
Pittsburgh has allowed 4.3 yards per carry this season, which is tied for the 12th-most this year. However, they have only allowed nine rushing TDs, tied for the third-fewest. I think the Ravens will run a lot this weekend and that Edwards will score at least once.
Gus Edwards anytime TD scorer (+185)
Pittsburgh Steelers: Diontae Johnson Over 3.5 Receptions (EVEN)
The Steelers’ offense has, surprisingly, looked functional the last two weeks since Rudolph took over. WR George Picken has benefited the most, racking up 326 receiving yards in the last two games. Diontae Johnson also has benefited from the QB change and has nine targets over the last two games.

Sports betting sites have Johnson listed at over/under 3.5 receptions for this game. Johnson has at least four targets in every game this season. He also has at least four catches in seven of the 12 games he has played this year.
Johnson has likely lost the role of WR1 in this offense moving forward to Pickens. However, I still think that he can catch at least four passes this weekend against the Ravens.
Diontae Johnson over 3.5 receptions (+100)
Houston Texans: Nico Collins Anytime TD Scorer (+130)
In the second game of Saturday’s doubleheader, the Texans take on the Colts for the AFC South title potentially up for grabs. If the Texans win, then they will claim their first divisional title since the 2019 season. A loss puts Houston’s playoff hopes in serious jeopardy.
QB C.J. Stroud returned from injury last week after missing back-to-back games with a concussion. He threw for 384 yards and two TDs in the Texans’ Week 2 loss to the Colts. He will need another big game this time around if Houston wants to get the win on the road in Indy.
Third-year WR Nico Collins has been one of Stroud’s favorite receivers this season. Collins has a career-high 1,102 receiving yards this season on a career-best 71 receptions. He had 146 receiving yards and one TD on seven catches in the first matchup with the Colts.
Football betting sites have Collins listed at +130 to score a TD in this game. Given the injuries to other members of Houston’s receiving corps, I think Collins is a good bet to score this weekend.
Nico Collins anytime TD scorer (+130)
Indianapolis Colts: Gardner Minshew II Over 0.5 interceptions (-125)
The Colts could also secure the AFC South a win if the Jaguars lose this weekend. To have a chance of sweeping the Texans this season, the Colts need a good game from QB Garnder Minshew II. Minshew has played in 16 games this season, including 12 starts in place of injured rookie QB Anthony Richardson.
Indianapolis Colts Gardner Minshew this season:
– 62.7 % Comp
– 3,164 Passing Yards
– 15 TD 9 INT
– 85.3 Rating
– 91 Yards Rushing
– 3 TD
– 18 Total TDs pic.twitter.com/tJG7tFYFcx— NFL Rumors (@nflrums) January 4, 2024
Minshew is just four completions and 107 yards shy of setting new career highs in completions and passing yards for a season. He also has nine INTs this season, the most he has had in a single season in his career.
Bovada has Minshew listed at -125 to throw another interception this weekend. He did not throw a pick when these teams met in Week 2. Minshew did not start that game, but he did attempt 23 passes after Richardson suffered an injury.
Minshew has thrown at least one interception in seven of his last 11 games. I think he throws at least one more pick this weekend. Houston has forced 14 INTs this year, including at least one in six of their last eight games.
Gardner Minshew II over 0.5 interceptions (-125)
Houston Texans: Devin Singletary Over 61.5 Rushing Yards (-115)
Another Saturday NFL player props bet that I like for this AFC South prime time matchup is RB Devin Singletary’s rushing yards total. Singletary is closing in on a career-high in rushing yards and has largely wrestled the starting role away from Dameon Pierce.
Singletary is listed at over/under 61.5 rushing yards for Saturday’s contest. He needs just 36 rushing yards to surpass his career-high of 870 yards in a season. So, Singletary should have plenty of motivation heading into this contest.
Indy has allowed 2,045 rushing yards this season, the sixth-most of any team in the NFL. The Colts are also allowing an average of 4.2 yards per carry to opposing rushers this year.
I think Singletary will be in a good position to have a productive day on the ground. He has had at least 65 rushing yards in three of his last four games, with the lone exception coming against the Browns’ stingy run defense. With that in mind, I would take the over on this total rushing yards prop bet.
Devin Singletary over 61.5 rushing yards (-115)
Best NFL Week 18 Saturday Props Parlay
Bovada has hundreds of other great player props available for Saturday’s NFL games. This sportsbook also has other great features to help bettors craft their perfect ticket.
For instance, you can use Bovada’s parlay builder to combine multiple props into one wager. Here is an example of a Saturday NFL player prop parlay that you can make based on the odds above:
- Gus Edwards anytime TD scorer (+185)
- Nico Collins anytime TD scorer (+130)
- Gardner Minshew II over 0.5 interceptions (-125)
- Parlay odds: +1080
I think Edwards and Collins are both good bets to score TDs in their respective games this weekend. Also, Minchew is favored to throw over 0.5 interceptions against Houston. The odds for this parlay are around +1080 but could change as markets fluctuate leading up to kickoff.
