NFL Player Props for Week 13
December football kicks off with an exciting slate of Week 13 games. Here are my picks for the best NFL player prop bets this week.
Pittsburgh Steelers – Najee Harris Anytime TD Scorer (+120)
The Pittsburgh Steelers could make the playoffs this season despite having one of the least productive offenses in the NFL. Pittsburgh has been outgained in all but one game this season. At 7-4 and with a tiebreaker over Cleveland, Pittsburgh is currently the fifth seed in the AFC.
One of the best @steelers offensive performances of the season:
Kenny Pickett: 24/33, 278 pass yards
Najee Harris: 15 carries, 99 rush yards, 1 TD
Pat Freiermuth: 9 catches, 120 receiving yards pic.twitter.com/fBuUhVtvqX— NFL (@NFL) November 27, 2023
To get to the postseason, the Steelers need to get as many wins as possible against the few easy teams still on their schedule. Pittsburgh hosts the Arizona Cardinals this week in a rematch of Super Bowl 43.
Bovada Sportsbook has RB Najee Harris listed at +120 to score a TD in this game. Harris is tied with fellow Steelers’ RB Jaylen Warren for the best offs to score this week.
After a slow start, Harris flipped a switch in late October. He did not score in the Steelers; first five games of the season. However, he has one TD in four of Pittsburgh’s last six games. I believe he will score again this week against a Cardinals team that has allowed 16 rushing TDs this season.
Najee Harris anytime TD scorer (+120)
Denver Broncos – Russell Wilson Under 221.5 Passing Yards (-115)
Speaking of midseason resurgences, the Denver Broncos (6-5) have the longest active winning streak in the NFL at five games. The Broncos will have another tough test this weekend against the Houston Texans.
A win over Houston would greatly improve the Broncos’ playoff chances. If Denver wants to improve to 7-5, then they need QB Russell Wilson to continue to play at his current level. Russ has not been cooking a lot, but he has been playing well enough not to cost the Broncos games.
Wilson has only passed for more than 200 yards in two of the Broncos’ last eight games. Sports betting sites have the 35-year-old QB listed at over/under 221.5 passing yards for this Week 13 matchup with the Texans.
I believe Wilson can continue to play well, but I doubt he will pass for enough yards to hit the over on this passing totals bet. I would take the under in this Week 13 NFL player props wager.
Russell Wilson under 221.5 passing yards (-115)
LA Chargers – Austin Ekeler Under 88.5 Total Yards (-115)
One AFC West team that has seemingly fallen out of the playoff race is the LA Chargers (4-7). The Chargers are 4-7, and head coach Brandon Staley is on the hot seat. LA needs a win this weekend against the Patriots (2-9), or Staley could be the next coach fired mid-season.

Under Bill Belichick, New England has made a habit of taking away the opposing team’s best player. That still appears to be the case this year. For instance, the Patriots held Giants RB Saquon Barkley to just 52 total yards last week.
I think RB Austin Ekeler’s versatility will make him the focus of the Patriots’ defense game plan. As we have seen throughout this season, Ekeler can be bottled up when teams focus on stopping him.
In his eight appearances this season, Ekeler has just three games of 100 or more total scrimmage yards. Ekeler has been held to 70 or fewer combined yards in his other five appearances. Football betting sites have Ekeler listed at over/under 88.5 combined rushing and receiving yards, and I would take the under.
Austin Ekeler under 88.5 total yards (-115)
San Francisco 49ers – Brock Purdy Over 254.5 Passing Yards (-115)
The most anticipated game of the week is an NFC showdown between the 49ers (8-3) and the Eagles (10-1). This rematch of last year’s NFC Championship Game has been circled on both team’s calendars since the schedule came out.
San Francisco’s QB Brock Purdy will finally have a chance to prove himself against the Eagles. Purdy was knocked out of action early on in the NFC title game.
Bovada has Purdy listed at over/under 254.5 passing yards for this game. Whether you believe in Purdy or not, there is no denying that San Fran has a ton of offensive weapons to work with. The Eagles’ defense has also allowed the fifth-most passing yards this season.
Purdy has averaged 261 passing yards per game this season. I think he can at least that many yards this week and would take the over in this Week 13 NFL player prop.
Brock Purdy over 254.5 passing yards (-115)
Best SNF Player Prop Odds
This week’s Sunday Night Football game is a cross-conference matchup between the Chiefs and the Packers. It is a rematch of Super Bowl 1. Here are my favorite NFL player props for this prime-time game in Green Bay.
Kansas City Chiefs – Travis Kelce Anytime TD Scorer (-106)
The Chiefs finally scored in the second half last week in their 31-17 win over the Raiders. One player who did not find the endzone last week was star TE Travis Kelce. The future Hall of Famer has just five receiving TDs on the season.
Kansas City is a 6-point favorite on the road in Green Bay. If the Chiefs want to cover the spread against a feisty Packers team, then Kelce will need to play well.
Bovada has Kelce listed at -106 to score a TD at Lambeau Field this week. He has the second-shortest odds, behind only RB Isiah Pacheco (-112). I believe Kelce can find the endzone at least once this week against the Packers.
Travis Kelce anytime TD scorer (-106)
Kansas City Chiefs – Patrick Mahomes Over 1.5 Passing TDs (-220)
The Chiefs also need a big game from QB Patrick Mahomes. Green Bay’s defense has allowed just 12 passing TDs this season, tied for the fifth-fewest in the league. Mahomes is listed at over/under 1.5 passing TDs for this Super Bowl 1 rematch.

Kansas City’s offense has not been as explosive this season as we have seen in years past. However, Mahomes and Co. have still found a way to win. Mahomes has played better as of late and has two passing TDs in three straight games.
I believe Mahomes can have another two TD performance this week against Green Bay. The Packers’ defense has played well this season, but now is the time of the year the Chiefs usually kick things into gear.
As I mentioned above, I think Kelce will get at least one TD this week. If that happens, then Mahomes would need just one more passing TD to cover the over in this bet.
Patrick Mahomes over 1.5 passing TDs (-220)
Green Bay Packers – Jordan Love Under 231.5 Passing Yards (-135)
On the other side, the Packers could give their playoff hopes a huge boost with an upset over the Chiefs. To have any chance of beating the defending champs, Green Bay’s QB Jordan Love needs to have a great game.
Prior to this season, Love had just one start in his career. He threw for 441 yards and a pair of TDs in a loss to the Chiefs in 2021. Repeating that performance will be easier said than done against Kansas City’s much-improved defense. Bovada has Love listed at over/under 231.5 passing yards for this game, and I would take the under.
Kansas City’s defense has allowed just 1,943 passing yards this season, the third-fewest in the league. The Chiefs also have the fourth-most sacks in the league with 37. On paper, this Sunday’s game should be a long and unproductive outing for Love.
Jordan Love under 231.5 passing yards (-135)
