Highest Scoring Team

Buffalo averaged 30.9 PPG this season, the most of any team playing on Wild Card Weekend. So, it is no surprise that the Bills are +350 favorites to be the highest-scoring team this weekend. They face a tough defense in the Broncos, though, and scored 24 or fewer points in two of their last three games.
Tampa Bay has the third-best odds at +500 for its game against Washington. The Commanders allowed 23.0 PPG, the most of any team to make the playoffs this year. Tampa itself allowed 22.6 PPG, the third-highest of any playoff team, so that could be a high-scoring game.
The Buccaneers (29.5 PPG) and Commanders (28.5 PPG) were the fourth- and fifth-highest-scoring teams this season, respectively. Whichever team wins that game has a great shot at being the highest scorer. I think Washington will win, and I recommend taking the Commanders in this bet.

Lowest Scoring Team
- Pittsburgh Steelers (+275)
- Denver Broncos (+300)
- Houston Texans (+450)
- Green Bay Packers (+500)
- Los Angeles Rams (+750)
You can also wager on the lowest-scoring team in Wild Card weekend. Pittsburgh, which averaged 22.4 PPG this year, is listed at +275 to be the lowest-scoring team. The Texans (21.9 PPG) and the Rams (21.6 PPG) averaged fewer points, but Pittsburgh has not scored more than 17 points in its last four games.
The Steelers also averaged just 17.5 points in their two games against the Ravens this year. Houston is also a good bet, given its struggles, and the Texans face the leading scoring defense with the Chargers coming to town. Both teams will struggle to score, but Houston offers better payout odds.
- Prediction: Texans are the lowest-scoring team +450
Highest Scoring Game
- Washington Commanders vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+250)

Bovada offers the chance to wager on the highest-scoring game as well. The winner of this bet will be the game with the highest total final score. Washington vs. Tampa Bay is the favorite at +250.
The projected total for Commanders vs. Buccaneers is over/under 50.0 points, the highest of any game. As mentioned above, these teams are both top-five scoring offenses, and their defenses have struggled to stop opposing teams. I recommend sticking with the favorite in this betting market.

Lowest Scoring Game
- Los Angeles Chargers vs. Houston Texans (+225)
- Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Baltimore Ravens (+350)

The odds for the lowest-scoring game during the Wild Card round are, unsurprisingly, the reverse of the highest-scoring game market. Los Angeles vs. Houston is the +225 favorite to have the lowest combined score. Pittsburgh vs. Baltimore has the second-best odds at +350.
In their two regular-season matchups, the Steelers and the Ravens combined for 85 points. Baltimore scored 34 of those points in their Week 16 win. I think this will be another low-scoring AFC North affair and likely the lowest-scoring game of the weekend.

Biggest Margin of Victory

Another popular prop market for Wild Card weekend is to bet on the margin of victory. Baltimore is the biggest favorite of the weekend at -9.5, and the Steelers vs. the Ravens is the +175 favorite to have the biggest margin of victory. The Bills (-8.5) are the second biggest favorite, and Denver vs. Buffalo has the second-best odds in this bet at +225.
Pittsburgh vs. Baltimore should be a low-scoring game, making having a large margin of victory challenging. Philadelphia, on the other hand, rested many starters in Week 18 and should beat the Packers by a sizeable margin.

Smallest Margin of Victory
- Minnesota Vikings vs. Los Angeles Rams (+250)
- Los Angeles Chargers vs. Houston Texans (+275)

Minnesota is laying 1.5 points against the Rams in LA, making them the smallest favorite of the weekend. Vikings vs. Rams is the +250 favorite to have the smallest win margin of the weekend.
Baltimore is the biggest favorite, but I think their matchup against Pittsburgh will be a close game. Nine of their last 10 games have been decided by one score, including five by a field goal or less.

Best Wild Card Weekend Specials

There was only one shutout this season, so every team scoring a touchdown (-160) or a field goal (+450) are both great bets. Scoring in every quarter of every game and starting quarterbacks all throwing a touchdown are also excellent options for Wild Card weekend. The +40000 odds on every starter having 225+ passing yards are also too good to pass up.
Combined Player Prop Specials
