NFL Player Props: Will Aaron Rodgers Throw for 5,000 Yards in 2024?
NFL player props allow you to wager on all of your favorite players for the upcoming football season. You can also bet on players returning from injury, such as New York Jets QB Aaron Rodgers.
Keep reading to see the best Aaron Rodgers props available to NFL fans who bet on football online. I will break down the best props for Rodgers and the New York Jets at this point in the NFL offseason. Odds for these wagers were provided courtesy of BetUS Sportsbook.
Aaron Rodgers Prop Bets
Jets’ QB Aaron Rodgers played just one series in his first season in New York. Rodgers tore his Achilles and, despite his best efforts to defy medical science, he was not able to return before the season ended. BetUS has plenty of Aaron Rodgers odds heading into the 2024 NFL season.
Rodgers to Throw for 5,000+ Yards in the Regular Season (+1600)
One of the popular Rodgers props for next season is the number of passing yards Rodgers will throw for. Last year he threw for a grand total of zero yards before his season-ending injury.

Despite his talent as a passer, Rodgers has never reached 5,000 passing yards in a season. The closest he has come was in 2011 when he threw for 4,643 yards and won his first MVP award.
The Jets have enough receiver talent for Rodgers to accumulate yards. WR Garrett Wilson has had 1,000+ receiving yards each of his first two years in the league. The Jets also signed WR Mike Williams, and they have RB Breece Hall, who had nearly 600 receiving yards last year.
That said, I would not bet on Rodgers finally reaching the 5,000-yard mark in his age-40 season. Even if Rodgers is healthy to start the year, it will be challenging to stay that way throughout the entire season.
Aaron Rodgers to have 5+ Rushing TDs (+3000)
Another interest Aaron Rogers prop bet to consider is how many rushing TDs the future Hall of Fame QB will have. Rodgers has had 35 rushing TDs in his career, and his mobility has been an essential part of his success in the NFL.
The total rushing TDs for this prop wager is set at five. The +3000 betting odds are intriguing, but Rodgers’ age and injury history could limit his rush attempts.
Another issue to consider is that Rodgers has only had five rushing TDs once in his career. He hit the mark exactly in 2009. On three other occasions, he finished the regular season with four rushing TDs, but Rodgers has not had more than three rushing TDs since 2016.
Rodgers to Throw 50+ Passing TDs in the Regular Season (+4000)
Throwing for TDs is much more down Rodgers’ alley. This player prop has Rodgers listed at +4000 to throw for 50 or more passing TDs this season.

Rodgers has thrown for at least 40 TDS three different times in his career. However, he has never reached the 50-TD mark in the regular season. Assuming he stays healthy, Rodgers should have the benefit of a 17th game, but that is a big assumption to make.
On paper, the Jets are ready to compete for a top seed in the AFC. To do that in the AFC, though, Rodgers and the offense will need to put up points. I am not confident that Rodgers will reach the 50-TD mark, but I do think there is value in a quarter-stake wager at +4000 odds for this prop.
Jets Super Bowl Odds
Speaking of the Jets, you can wager on the team’s success in addition to betting on the Rodgers odds above. For instance, you can wager on the Jets to silence all the doubters and win the Super Bowl this season.
Football betting sites list the Jets at +2200 in the latest Super Bowl 59 odds. It would be the team’s first Lombardi in over 50 years.
At 22-1, the Jets are behind nearly a dozen other teams. BetUS has the 49ers and the Chiefs as co-favorites at 6-1 odds. Other teams ahead of New York include the Ravens (+900), Lions (+1200), and the Bengals (+1400).
Two AFC East teams, the Bills and the Dolphins, are also ranked ahead of the Jets in the current Super Bowl 59 odds. Buffalo and Miami are listed at +1400 and +2000, respectively. If you believe in Rodgers, though, the Jets’ current Super Bowl odds could be worth betting on.
Jets AFC Conference Odds
Before they can win the Lombardi, the Jets must win the AFC Conference Championship Game. Secure betting sites currently list New York at +1200 to win the AFC.

There are six teams currently ahead of the Jets in this futures wager, including the following:
- Kansas City Chiefs (+325)
- Baltimore Ravens (+450)
- Cincinnati Bengals (+700)
- Buffalo Bills (+700)
- Houston Texans (+700)
- Miami Dolphins (+1100)
One way the Jets could improve their odds of making the Super Bowl is to secure home-field advantage throughout the playoffs. Rodgers would also benefit from the bye awarded to the top seed in each conference. New York is listed at +1600 to secure the number one seed in the AFC.
Getting the top seed will be easier said than done, especially in a loaded AFC. To even have a shot at the number one seed, New York would need to win the AFC East.
New York Jets AFC East Odds
Speaking of the AFC East, BetUS has odds on every team’s chances to win the division. It is essentially a three-team race, with the Patriots current rebuild making them the odd team out. The Jets have the third-best odds to win the East at +220.
Buffalo (+165) and Miami (+175) are neck-and-neck at the top of the divisional odds. The Bills recently traded away star WR Stefon Diggs and lost many starters due to salary cap issues. Miami, on the other hand, will only go as far as Tua Tagovailoa can carry them.
Rodgers made a living by winning the NFC North year after year. I doubt he can achieve that same dominance in the AFC East. However, if Rodgers and the Jets are going to win the AFC East, this is the year they will do it.
Jets Win Total Odds
The Jets will need to rack up at least double-digit wins to have a shot at claiming the AFC East crown. New York will likely need 11 or 12 wins to have a chance. The last team to win the AFC East with 10 or fewer wins was the 2009 Patriots (10-6).

Here are the latest odds for the Jets’ win total this season.
- Over 9.5 wins (-105)
- Under 9.5 wins (-125)
We know the Jets 2024 opponents; we just do not know the order in which they will play them. If the Jets can sweep the Patriots and split with the Dolphins and Bills, that will put them at 4-2. That would be a great start, but they would still need six other wins to cover the over in this totals wager.
Only four opponents on the Jets 2024 schedule had losing records last season: Denver (8-9), Tennessee (6-11), Arizona (4-13), and Minnesota (7-10). It will be tough to scrape out 10 or more wins, but I think the Jets can do it. Rodgers needs to be healthy, and the defense needs to live up to the hype, but I think the Jets can cover the over in this bet.
Will the Jets Go Undefeated Next Season?
If you are all-in on the New York Jets hype this season, consider this prop wager. BetUS has the Jets listed at +10000 to go undefeated this season. A perfect 17-0 would silence many critics and add to Rodgers’ Vice Presidential campaign.
The season extends beyond the election, but an undefeated run would draw a lot of attention to Rodgers. Joining RFK Jr. on the campaign trail would generate a lot of criticism, but Rodgers could quiet the doubters by winning games. There is no margin for error in this wager, but it could be worth a quarter-stake wager if you are a true Jets fanatic.
