NFL Conference Championship Round Schedule
- Washington Commanders vs. Philadelphia Eagles
- Buffalo Bills vs. Kansas City Chiefs
Where to Bet on NFL Conference Championship Games
The Conference Championship round is the penultimate chance for NFL playoff bracket betting. Buffalo handed Kansas City its first loss of the season in their Week 11 matchup. Washington and Philadelphia, on the other hand, split their regular season NFC East matchups.
Bovada Sportsbook is the best place for making the most of your Conference Championship matchups. Hundreds of bets are available for each game, or you can create your own with the parlay and prop-building features. NFC Championship Game Odds
Team | Point Spread | Moneyline | Total |
Washington Commanders | +6.0 (-110) | +230 | Over 47.5 (-110) |
Philadelphia Eagles | -6.0 (-110) | -280 | Under 47.5 (-110) |
The first game of Conference Championship weekend is a rubber match between the Commanders and the Eagles. Philadelphia is laying 6.0 points in the latest NFL playoff odds at Bovada. The total for this NFC East showdown is set at over/under 47.5 points.
Washington Commanders (+230)
Washington has the longest Super Bowl 59 winner odds of any remaining team in the playoffs. They are also the biggest underdog of Conference Championship weekend. Bovada lists Washington at +230 odds to beat the Eagles on Sunday.
Jayden Daniels has compiled one of the best rookie seasons by a quarterback in NFL history. He is one win away from becoming the first rookie QB to lead his team to a Super Bowl appearance. Beating the Eagles will be easier said than done, though, especially if they cannot stop Saquon Barkley.
Philadelphia Eagles (-280)
Barkley and the Eagles are -280 favorites to win their matchup against Washington on Sunday. In two matchups against Washington this year, Barkley racked up 296 rushing yards, 52 receiving yards, and four total touchdowns.
If not for a concussion suffered by Jalen Hurts early in their second regular season matchup, the Eagles would have likely swept the Commanders this season. The Eagles’ defense will also present a much tougher matchup for the Daniels and the Commanders than the Lions did last week.
NFC Championship Game Prediction
Philadelphia is a heavy favorite in the updated betting lines for their NFL playoff matchup against Washington. The Commanders needed late-game magic from Daniels to beat Philly in Week 16, and Hurts missed most of that game. Hurts is healthy, Barkley is playing at an MVP level so far in the playoffs, and Philly will win on Sunday.
- Prediction: Eagles -6 -110
AFC Championship Game Odds
Team | Point Spread | Moneyline | Total |
Buffalo Bills | +2.0 (-120) | +105 | Over 47.5 (-115) |
Kansas City Chiefs | -2.0 (+100) | -125 | Under 47.5 (-105) |
After the Eagles beat the Commanders, the Bills will take on the Chiefs in Kansas City. The Chiefs are 2.0-point home favorites in the early playoff odds for this NFL Conference Championship weekend matchup. The total score for this game is also set at over/under 47.5 points.
Buffalo Bills (+105)
Buffalo is an underdog again in the latest betting odds for the NFL playoffs. The Bills were a 1.0-point home underdog last week against Baltimore and are getting 2.0 points this week in Kansas City. The typical home-field advantage is 3.0 points, implying the Bills would be favored over the Chiefs if this game were in Buffalo.
Josh Allen only racked up 127 passing yards in the win on Sunday. However, a strong performance from the Bills’ running back committee and the multiple turnovers forced by Buffalo’s defense helped take down Lamar Jackson and the Ravens.
Kansas City Chiefs (-125)
The other half of this marquee matchup is the two-time defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs. KC will have a chance to become the first team to win three straight Super Bowls if they can get by the Bills. As if that were not enough motivation, Buffalo was also the only team to beat Mahomes in the regular season.
Mahomes and the Chiefs are also the most well-rested team in the postseason. Last weekend’s win over the Texans was the first game in over three weeks for many of KC’s starters. A rested Chiefs team at Arrowhead will likely be too much for anyone, even Allen and the Bills, to overcome.
AFC Championship Game Prediction
Buffalo overcame the odds last week in their upset win over Baltimore, and they beat the Chiefs in the regular season. Unfortunately, Playoffs Mahomes is a different animal. Kansas City will win the rematch and move on to Super Bowl 59.
- Prediction: Chiefs -2 +100
Best Props for Conference Championship Weekend
Bovada has more than just competitive moneyline, point spread, and totals odds for the Conference Championship games. They also offer hundreds of thrilling props for this weekend’s title games. Here are my top five prop wagers for the AFC and NFC Conference Championship games.
Brian Robinson Anytime TD Scorer (+175)
Washington’s Brian Robinson had a rough end to the regular season, but he has more than made up for it in the playoffs. Robinson had 15 carries for 77 yards and two touchdowns in the Commanders’ win over the Lions. He is listed at +175 to score again this weekend.
Controlling the clock through their run game is Washington’s best chance to upset the Eagles. Robinson struggled against Philly this year, including fumbling twice in their Week 16 matchup. He will get a chance to redeem himself this weekend and will find the endzone at least once.
Travis Kelce Anytime TD Scorer (+125)
Another anytime TD scorer that I like for this weekend is Travis Kelce. The Chiefs’ tight end has scored in back-to-back starts and is Mahomes’s favorite target in the playoffs.
Kelce is listed at +125 to find the endzone against Buffalo. The Bills struggled to cover the Ravens’ tight ends but benefited from an unforced error by Mark Andrews. Kelce will not make those mistakes, but he will score on Sunday.
Saquon Barkley Over 148.5 Scrimmage Yards (-115)
Philadelphia’s decision to sign Saquon Barkley was arguably the best move of the offseason. Barkley led the NFL in rushing and became the ninth player to rush for 2,000 yards in a season. His play has the Eagles one game away from their second Super Bowl appearance in three years.
Barkley totaled 348 scrimmage yards against Washington this year and had at least 150 yards in both games. He is listed at over/under 148.5 total yards for Sunday’s matchup. Barkley’s great playoff run will continue this week, and he will cover his yards total against the Commanders this week.
DeAndre Hopkins over 24.5 Receiving Yards (-115)
Kansas City acquired DeAndre Hopkins midseason from Tennessee, but they have used the veteran wide receiver sparingly. Hopkins must step up this week to take pressure off Mahomes and Kelce. He is listed at over/under 24.5 receiving yards for Sunday’s matchup.
Hopkins has not had 25 or more receiving yards since the Chiefs’ Week 16 win over Houston. However, that drought will end this week, and he will cover his receiving yards total against Buffalo on Sunday.
Josh Allen Over 1.5 Passing Touchdowns (+110)
Rounding out my list of the NFL playoffs best prop bets for the Conference Championship round is for Josh Allen to have over 1.5 passing TDs (+110). Allen did not throw a touchdown last week, but he did have two rushing scores against the Ravens.
Buffalo needs Allen to have a better day passing this week than he did last Sunday, otherwise, they will lose to KC. The Chiefs’ run defense is too good for Buffalo to win without relying on Allen’s arm. A more pass-heavy attack makes it more likely that Allen covers his passing touchdown total.
