Logan Paul vs. Dillon Danis Betting Odds

  • Logan Paul (-500)
  • Dillon Danis (+300)

The oddsmakers at BetUS have Logan Paul (-500) listed as a heavy favorite against Dillon Danis. A big reason for this is that the former YouTube star has been far more active than his opponent in recent years. Paul has been a regular participant in WWE events, most recently winning his match at SummerSlam earlier this month.

Danis, on the other hand, has not competed in an official bout since June 2019. He defeated Max Humphrey by submission to bring his MMA record to 2-0.

If this were an MMA bout, then Danis could rely on his grappling and would likely make short work of Paul. But the Paul brothers have been careful to only fight MMA competitors in boxing matches. Danis’s lack of activity and Paul’s slight size advantage are two big reasons why the latter opened as the betting favorite.

Logan Paul (-500)

Logan Paul will make his return to boxing this October after more than two years away from the sport. The elder Paul brother is a major favorite and is currently listed at -500 to pick up a win in his return.

If Paul does win, it would be the first official win of his professional boxing career. He lost his boxing debut to KSI in 2019. The exhibition Paul had against Mayweather in 2021 was not scored, so there was no official winner.

Paul did perform well against Mayweather, though, even if the undefeated boxing legend was not taking the bout seriously. But he will not have the same size advantage over Danis.

It has been years since Paul competed in a boxing ring, but he should still be in good shape. Competing in the WWE is not easy to do, so Paul’s cardio should be intact, at least. We will have to wait to see how much he has kept up with his boxing training, though.

Dillon Danis (+300)

Dillion Danis will also be making his return to combat sports on October 14th. The MMA fighter has not had an official fight in over four years. This bout against Paul will also serve as Danis’s professional boxing debut.

Danis is undefeated in MMA, winning both his fights by first-round submission. But his grappling-heavy fighting style will not help him in this boxing match against Paul.

Finishing your first two MMA fights in the first round is impressive. But Danis did not have a chance to showcase any of his striking abilities in either fight. Instead, he relied heavily on his grappling skills to pick up the win.

Danis was a training partner for Connor McGregor back in the day. Even with McGregor’s help, though, I think Danis will be out of his depth in a boxing match. His best bet is to hope that Paul is looking past him and toward a future potential fight with McGregor.

Boxing betting prediction:

Logan Paul defeats Dillion Danis (-500)

Tommy Fury vs. KSI Betting Odds

  • Tommy Fury (-350)
  • KSI (+225)

Logan Paul vs. Dillion Danis is not the only celebrity boxing fight scheduled for the October 14th card. The main event of the night will feature Tommy Fury vs. KSI. Fury is the younger brother of Tyson Fury, the reigning WBC Heavyweight Champion.

KSI has not had an official professional bout since he defeated Logan Paul in 2019, but he has had several exhibitions, though. His exhibition against Dillon Danis was canceled after Danis pulled out of the fight. Danis was replaced by FaZe Temperrr, who went on to lose to KSI.

Fury will be the toughest opponent KSI has faced in his short career. The 24-year-old has already knocked off one celebrity-turned-boxer when he defeated Jake Paul earlier this year.

Tommy Fury (-350)

Being the younger brother of one of the best ever in your profession is hard to do. So far, Tommy Fury has lived up to the family name in the boxing ring. He made his debut in 2018 and has racked up a 9-0 record since.

Fury (-350) is a sizeable favorite in his upcoming fight against KSI. Both fighters are undefeated in their professional careers, but Fury’s resume is much more impressive than his opponent’s. Fury first challenged KSI to a fight back in 2019, but the YouTube star declined the fight, and it is easy to see why.

Not only is Fury 9-0 as a professional, but he has shown that he has true knockout power. Four of his nine wins have come via KO. Many of his KO victories have come in the early rounds of a fight, as well.

KSI (+225)

After nearly half a dozen exhibition fights, KSI will make his return to professional boxing against Tommy Fury. The British YouTuber has had some success against other similar inexperienced opponents.

Unfortunately for KSI, Fury is not an inexperienced boxer. Lasting long enough to finish the fight would be a huge moral victory for KSI, in my opinion.

But anything can happen once the bell rings. KSI does have three KO victories in exhibition fights in the last year. He originally had four KO wins, but his last bout against Joe Fournier was overturned to a no-contest. KSI accidentally elbowed Fournier during the fight, causing his victory to be changed.

I think KSI should be an even bigger underdog than he currently is. So, I would not bet on him at just +225. Fury is the safer pick, and you can still salvage some betting value since he is only listed at -350.

Boxing betting prediction:

Tommy Fury defeats KSI (-350)

Celebrity Boxing Betting Tips

Betting on boxing has been a popular pastime for decades. In recent years, celebrity boxing matches have become an extremely popular market as well. Here are three tips to help you succeed when you bet on these matches.

Know the Rules for the Fight

One of the best things that you can do to help you succeed when betting on celebrity boxing matches is to learn the rules of the fight. Many of these fights are exhibitions and therefore have different rules. For example, the scoring system may be different, and the fights may be shorter than regular boxing matches.

Celebrity fights place an emphasis on making money more than most modern sports. The rules are designed to keep the fighters protected while still putting on a show.

Also, since it is boxing, any other type of combat is prohibited. That is one major reason why old, retired MMA fighters have struggled in many of their appearances. Tyron Woodley, for example, was an excellent wrestler and a former UFC champion, but his grappling skills were useless in the boxing ring.

Pick the Right Sportsbook

Another way to help increase your chances of winning money is to make sure you choose the right real money sportsbook. The sportsbook you choose will determine the odds you get to bet on and the betting markets available to you.

Before betting on the Logan Paul vs. Dillon Danis fight, you should shop around to ensure you get the best odds. Just make sure that you only compare the odds at safe betting sites.

Consider the Trainers

Researching the celebrity themselves can give you a good idea of how they might perform in their upcoming fight. People with relevant combat experience have better chances of success. But the fighter themselves is not the only person you should know about.

Trainers can have a huge influence on how a fighter performs in a given bout. They can help a celebrity learn to box and get physically prepared for the fight itself.

Studying a fighter’s team can also tell you how seriously they are taking their preparations. A more prepared fighter is going to perform better, especially in the later rounds. Changes in a fighter’s team can be another good clue to look at.

Who Are You Betting on in Logan Paul vs. Dillon Danis?

Logan Paul returns to the boxing ring on October 14th to face Dillon Danis. The two will square off in the co-main event of MF & DAZN: X Series – The Prime Card. Paul is the heavy favorite, and I think he is able to get the job done.
