The English Premier League Matchday 26 is almost here and the title race is well and truly on! Liverpool dropped points against Everton and almost dropped two more against Wolves, meaning Arsenal is now just 7 points away as we inch closer to the final 2 matchdays in February.

As always, we’re here to provide you with comprehensive analyses of the best EPL bets for this week. Matchday 26 has some screamers, that’s for sure, so we’ll waste no more time and jump straight into the mix!

Best EPL Week 26 Singles

Bet #1: Manchester City vs. Liverpool: Man City to Win and Over 2.5 (+245)

Manchester City is far from great form, but they have 3 wins in their last 4 matches, with the only loss coming against Arsenal. Now, they’re up against the EPL leaders and a win here would not only grant them a spot in the top 3 but rekindle the title race.

Despite losing to Real Madrid in what were absolutely chaotic final 10 minutes, we have to admit Manchester City is in far better form than they were roughly 2 months ago. They’re back in action and buzzing in the final third, though they’re still allowing way too much space in the back.

As for Liverpool, they’re still at the top of the league but haven’t looked all that good over the last few matches. That chaotic cup elimination followed by a draw with Everon and a nail-biting win against Wolves has left the fans in shock. If the Merseyside team crumbles under pressure of the big match against City, Arsenal could come within just 4 points. However, much about Liverpool will come down to their clash against Aston Villa. If you’d like to be extra safe, I recommend you postpone this single until you’ve seen the result of Aston Villa vs. Liverpool. If the Reds show off another lethargic display, then going with Man City to Win and over 2.5 goals at +245 will make even more sense.

Bet #2: Everton vs. Manchester United: Everton to Win (+170)

Coming into this match, Everton has 4 wins and a draw in their last 5 EPL clashes. Mind you, that one draw came against Liverpool. It’s safe to say the David Moyes effect is real and that, by the looks of things, the former Man Utd manager shouldn’t have too much issues with his former employer.

It’s true – Manchester United have been looking outright disgusting over the last few weeks. They’re playing slow, terrible football with no real movement off the ball and no discipline whatsoever.

Yes, a part of that comes down to a whole set of injuries that struck the team not that long ago… but still, Amorim’s playstyle just doesn’t seem to be a good fit for the Red Devils.

No need to go any deeper than that. Everton to win at +170 is worth the risk considering United’s poor form and injury list, as well as Everton’s massive success run under David Moyes.

Bet #3: Southampton vs. Brighton: Brighton to Win (-165)

Despite defeating Ipswich away from home in their first EPL clash this February, Southampton is far from good form. They’ve won just 9 points all season long and are coming into this one following a tough 3 – 1 loss to Bournemouth.

As for Brighton, I’m not sure how to describe their last 2 matches. Their goals ratio is 3 – 7, having lost 7 – 0 to Nottingham Forest and then went on to defeat Chelsea 3 – 0. Best of all, Chelsea failed to have a single shot on target for the whole match, which goes to show you what a fantastic job Brighton’s defense can do when they’re having a good day.

If the Doves can perform as they did against Chelsea, beating Southampton away from home shouldn’t be a major issue. The bookmakers believe so too, with the current Brighton moneyline at -165. It’s a great option for a medium-stake single, which is exactly what we’ll be going with here.

Best EPL Week 26 Parlay Bets

As always, we have a few parlays for you to explore too. Parlays are multi-line wagers with 2 or more “connected” bets. Individual bets within a parlay are typically less risky than singles, but they all have to go through for the parlay to win.

Here are the two best parlays for EPL Matchday 26.

EPL Parlay #1

• Bournemouth vs. Wolves: Both Teams to Score (-155)
• Everton vs. Manchester United: Everton to Win or Draw Double Chance (-250)
• Total Parlay: +130

Bournemouth is currently in 5^th place with 43 points and 44 goals scored in 25 matches. That’s 1.76 average goals per game, which isn’t too shabby in the EPL. As for Wolves, they’re in 17^th place with 19 points and 35 goals. However, 19 of those came from 13 away fixtures. Plus, Wolves failed to score in just one of their last 4 EPL encounters, meaning both teams to score bet at -155 is the ideal choice here.

The second line revolves around Everton and Manchester United. The two friendly clubs won’t be that friendly this Saturday when they’re set to go up against each other. As things stand now, Everton is a point above United and in a far superior form.

The Red Devils aren’t just plagued by managerial and tactical mishaps, but with a whole set of injuries too. Just las week against Tottenham, Amorim made just 1 substitution all match long because all he had on the bench were inexperienced youngsters.

That said, double chance on Everton or a draw at -250 is the perfect supplement for our main bet in this parlay, Bournemouth vs. Everton both teams to score. At +130, this parlay doesn’t involve too much risk but still has a hefty reward. If you’re a fan of EPL parlays, this two-liner comes as a no-brainer!

EPL Parlay #2

• Arsenal vs. West Ham: Total Goals Under 2.5 (+120)
• Newcastle vs. Nottingham Forest: Both Teams to Score (-160)
• Total Parlay: +258

The second parlay kicks off with a simple total goals bet for the upcoming clash between Arsenal and West Ham. Let’s face it, Arsenal currently has a serious lack of experience in the attacking third. Last match, they had to rely on Mikel Merino in an attacking role. The defensive-minded midfielder ended up scoring two goals, but having him as a striker is not really a good long-term plan.

West Ham, on the other hand, can’t seem to score goals no matter how hard they try. Over the last 4 EPL fixtures, West Ham scored just 2 goals. They’re coming into this clash with 2 consecutive losses and without a single win in their last 4. Considering these poor goalscoring stats and Arsenal’s injury woes, total goals under 2.5 at +120 seems like the ideal choice here.

The second line is Newcastle vs. Nottingham Forest. This match could easily be the exact opposite of Arsenal vs. West Ham. For starters, we have Nottingham Forest which are currently in third place with 16 goals scored over the last 4 EPL fixtures. That’s right, Forest is averaging 4 goals per game, after absolutely demolishing Brighton 7 – 0.

Newcastle, on the other hand, hasn’t been scoring that much lately, but continue to create chances and are looking outright menacing in front of the goal. For that reason, we just have to go with both teams to score at -160.
