Which Celebrity Has the Best Dancing With the Stars Odds?

November 25 Update

The top five all made it to the finale of season 33 of Dancing With the Stars. There were no eliminations in the semifinals, and every star’s scores from this week will carry over to the finale.

Here are the final odds for DTWS season 33, courtesy of BetOnline Sportsbook.

Celebrity DWTS Odds Previous Odds*
Joey Graziadei -200 +100
Chandler Kinney +100 +100
Danny Amendola +300 +435
Stephen Nedoroscik +1200 +600
Ilona Maher +1600 +1800

*Previous odds were provided by Bovada.

Joey Graziadei (-200)

Many offshore betting sites listed Joey Graziadei as the even-money co-favorite ahead of the semifinals. Despite tying Chandler Kinney for the highest combined score this week, Graziadei has shifted from +100 to the -200 favorite.

Graziadei was the only celeb to receive a perfect 30 for any dance this week. His Foxtrot was perfect, but the former star of The Bachelor only scored a 28 on his Paso Doble. Graziadei enters the finale as the favorite, but Kinney is hot on his heels in the race for the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy.

Chandler Kinney (+100)

Speaking of Kinney, the multi-talented Disney actress remains at even-money odds to win this season. She failed to repeat her perfect scores from the 500th episode special, but Kinney still tied for the highest combined score this week. She scored 29 points each for her Salsa and Foxtrot.

https://twitter.com/DEADLINE/status/1859695787913224279

Kinney took a slight step back this week but has proven she can earn perfect 30s when her mind is right. If she can step it up for the finale and score 10s across the board, she will be the rightful winner of this season.

Danny Amendola (+300)

My preseason pick to win DWTS season 33 was Danny Amendola. The two-time Super Bowl-winning wide receiver will enter the finale with the third-best odds to win. Amendola was listed at +435 before the semifinals, and BetOnline now has him available at +300 heading into the finale.

Every judge gave Amendola a nine out of 10 for his Viennese Waltz and Salsa this week, resulting in a combined score of 54 points. Amendola had the second-lowest score of any celeb this week. However, he has consistently scored in the high 20s the last three weeks and could steal the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy with a breakout performance in the finale.

Stephen Nedoroscik (+1200)

The preseason favorite has made the finale, but Stephen Nedoroscik is a long shot to win this season. Nedoroscik opened the season at +300 and was listed at +600 heading into the semifinals. His combined score of 53 was the lowest of any celeb in the semis.

https://twitter.com/berstcns/status/1859070774495072553

Nedoroscik also scored the lowest on any individual dance, scoring just 25 points for his Cha-Cha-Cha. He did redeem himself somewhat with his 28-point Tango, but the Olympian will have to blow the judges and audience away in the finale to pull off the improbable comeback.

Ilona Maher (+1600)

Speaking of longshot Olympians, Rugby star and newly crowned America’s Sweetheart Ilona Maher has the longest odds of any remaining celeb to win this season. Maher was listed at +1800 before the semis and is now available at +1600 in the season 33 DWTS odds ahead of the finale.

She has the fans’ support, but Maher will need more than that to win this year. Maher scored a combined 57 points for her Paso Doble and Viennese Waltz, the third-highest of the remaining five contestants. If she can break through with an improbably perfect score, then Maher’s support from the audience could carry her to the title this season.

November 15 Update

The top five are official for Season 33 of Dancing With the Stars, and both 2024 Olympians have made the cut. Here are the latest DWTS odds for this season, courtesy of Bovada.

Celebrity Dancing With the Stars Odds Previous Odds
Joey Graziadei +100 -120
Chandler Kinney +100 +150
Danny Amendola +435 +400
Stephen Nedoroscik +600 +1000
Ilona Maher +1800 +2500

Joey Graziadei (+100)

Former star of The Bachelor, Joey Graziadei, was the -120 favorite to win DWTS heading into the 500th episode special. Graziadei scored 55 combined points this week, the second-most of any celebrity. However, he was a full five points behind Chandler Kinney, who scored a perfect 60.

Graziadei has failed to outscore Kinney for three straight weeks, and his odds have suffered as a result. He has faded from -120 to +100 and is now tied with Kinney for the best odds to win DWTS this season. Graziadei must step up his game in the Semifinals if he wants to claim the Mirrorball trophy this season.

Chandler Kinney (+100)

Speaking of Chandler Kinney, the Disney actress became the first celebrity to score a perfect 30 this season. Kinney had not one, but two perfect scores this week. It was the third episode where Kinney either had or tied for the best score of the week.

https://twitter.com/ChandlerLKinney/status/1856829852734951667

She has set the bar high and if Kinney continues to earn perfect scores from the judges, she will be challenging for anyone to beat. Of the two favorites, I would give Kinney the edge over Graziadei, given her current momentum.

Stephen Nedoroscik (+600)

Stephen Nedoroscik, one of two Olympians on DWTS this season, started the show as the +300 favorite. Nedoroscik struggled to live up to his preseason odds, but the gymnast has fought hard this season and made the top five. He was listed at +1000 last week and is now available at +600 odds ahead of the Semifinals.

Nedoroscik has the second-lowest odds of the remaining five celebrities, but he is one great performance away from making the finals. He also scored 54 points this week, the third-most of any celeb. Another high-scoring week could be enough for Nedoroscik to sneak into the finale, and then anything can happen.

Who Was Eliminated on DWTS This Week?

Dwight Howard started season 33 tied for the second-best DTWS odds at +450. The former NBA star was inconsistent this season, and it finally caught up with him. He scored 48 points for his dances during the 500th episode special, the lowest of any celeb.

Howard’s low-scoring week came just one episode after he tied for the third-best score on Halloween Nightmares night. Unfortunately for Howard, there was no room for error this week, and he was eliminated one week before the semifinals started.

November 2 Update

Only six celebrities remain in season 33 of Dancing With the Stars. Joey Graziadei remains the betting favorite to win this season, and Olympic rugby star Ilona Maher has fallen to last in the latest DWTS odds.

Here are the latest DWTS betting odds at Bovada Sportsbook

Star DWTS Previous Odds
Joey Graziadei -120 +120
Chandler Kinney +150 +225
Danny Amendola +400 +325
Stephen Nedoroscik +1000 +600
Dwight Howard +2000 +1500
Ilona Maher +2500 +1000

Joey Graziadei (-120)

Joey Graziadei, the former star of The Bachelor, turned in another high-scoring performance on DWTS this week. He tied for the highest dance score of the week, 29 and won an additional three points in the dance-off. Graziadei finished the week with 32 total points, tied for the most this week.

https://twitter.com/etnow/status/1851744684537749511

His impressive performance shortened Graziadei’s DWTS odds from +120 to -120. Graziadei is the betting favorite, but he is still chasing Chandler Kinney in total points. Kinney also puts pressure on Graziadei to score high every week and could beat Graziadei in the race for the first perfect score of the season.

Chandler Kinney (+150)

Speaking of Chandley Kinney, the Disney actress is still firmly in second place in the updated DWTS season 33 odds. Kinney was listed at +225 last week, and her odds have shortened to +150 after her impressive performance this week. Kinney scored a 29 in her individual dance and was awarded three bonus points for being the highest scorer this season.

She was also immune from the dance-off this week, allowing her to skip the six-couple group dance. Despite tying or beating Graziadei most weeks, Kinney is still only second in the betting odds. Kinney must step up her game to pass Graziadei in the DWTS betting odds for this season.

Ilona Maher (+2500)

Ilona Maher has been a fan-favorite this season, but her time on Dancing With the Stars could end soon. Maher was the lowest scorer this week, earning a total of 24 points for her Tango to Miley Cyrus’s “Psycho Killer.” She also lost her dance-off, a Cha-cha-cha, to Dwight Howard.

https://twitter.com/extratv/status/1851742143892852746

Maher’s DWTS odds have plummeted due to her low-scoring performance this week. She was listed at +1000 last week, but her odds have faded to +2500.

Maher has the lowest odds of any remaining contestant and will likely be eliminated on the 500th episode special in week seven. On the other hand, her popularity with the show’s fans could keep her around another week.

Who Was Eliminated on DWTS This Week?

Jenn Tran was listed at +700 last week, the fifth-best odds of the seven remaining celebrities. Tran tied four other stars this week with a 28 on her individual dance, and she earned three bonus points for winning her dance-off against Stephen Nedoroscik.

Despite all of that, Tran was the celebrity voted off of DWTS this week. Her elimination was surprising as Tran had been one of the highest-scoring performers of the season.

Updated: October 18, 2024

Only eight contests remain on season 33 of Dancing with the Stars, and the competition is heating up. Here are the latest DWTS winner odds, courtesy of Bovada Sportsbook.

Celebrity DWTS Odds Previous Odds
Joey Graziadei +165 +200
Chandler Kinney +250 +200
Danny Amendola +500 +900
Jenn Tran +500 +500
Stephen Nedoroscik +500 +600
Ilona Maher +900 +900
Phaedra Parks +900 +900
Dwight Howard +1400 +1000

Joey Graziadei (+165)

Joey Graziadei moved into a tie for first at +200 odds to win DWTS after the two-night special in week three. The former star of The Bachelor impressed again in week four and is now the +165 favorite to win this season.

https://twitter.com/Collider/status/1845950916622479381

Graziadei and his partner, Jenna Johnson, tied for the highest score this week with 36 out of a possible 40 points. They scored a nine out of 10 from all four judges for their Viennese waltz to “Lose Control” by Teddy Swims. Another strong performance on Disney Night could help Graziadei distance himself from the pack halfway through the season.

Chandler Kinney (+250)

Chandler Kinney was also listed at +200 to win DWTS season 33 before week four. However, she was one of five stars to score just 32 points on Dedication Night, tied for the second-lowest.

Kinney received an eight out of 10 from every judge for her contemporary dance and was safe from elimination. However, her odds to win this season have faded from +200 to +250. Despite the uncharacteristically mediocre showing, I think Kinney will bounce back and is still a great bet to win this season.

Danny Amendola (+500)

My pick to win DWTS before season 33 began was former NFL wide receiver Danny Amendola. He impressed with a score of 36 this week, tying for the highest total of anyone in week four. Amendola’s odds have shortened from +900 to +500 following his performance.

https://twitter.com/barstoolttu/status/1846374879626449224

The Super Bowl champion is tied with Jenn Tran and Stephen Nedoroscik for the third-best odds to win DWTS this season. I believe Amendola will have another extraordinary showing with his Jazz dance in week five and take sole ownership of the third-best odds.

Dwight Howard (+1400)

Former NBA star Dwight Howard was listed at +450 to win this season before the premiere, tied for the second-best odds of any celeb. However, Howard’s skills on the court have not translated well to the dance floor.

He is now listed at +1400 to win this season and has the longest odds of any remaining contestant. Howard scored a 29 in week four, the lowest of any star, and was the only person not to score above 30 points. Another poor showing could send Howard packing in week five.

Who Was Eliminated on DWTS This Week?

Brooks Nader entered week four at +2500 odds to win DWTS, the longest odds of any remaining dancer. Nader scored a 32 for her Salse, but it was not enough to save her from elimination. She became the fifth celeb voted off the show, placing ninth this season.

  • Stephen Nedoroscik (+300)
  • Dwight Howard (+450)
  • Ilona Maher (+450)
  • Danny Amendola (+600)
  • Brooks Nader (+900)
  • Jenn Tran (+900)
  • Joey Graziadei (+900)
  • Chandler Kinney (+1000)

Former and current athletes have an inherent advantage in DWTS. So, it is no surprise that all of the contests in the top four are known for their athletic ability. Multiple Olympians will make their DWTS debut this season.

Stephen Nedoroscik (+300) and Ilona Maher (+450) won medals for gymnastics and Rugby, respectively, at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Former NBA Center Dwight Howard (+450) and former NFL Wide Receiver Danny Amendola (+600) are also ranked in the top four.

Original Content

Stephen Nedoroscik (+300)

The betting favorite to win Dancing With the Stars season 33 is Stephen Nedoroscik (+300). Nedoroscik made history at the Olympics this year, helping the US Men’s gymnastics team to its first team medal since 2008.

https://twitter.com/USAGym/status/1835466190548017332

As an artistic gymnast, Nedoroscik should have an advantage in learning choreography. However, ballroom dancing is significantly different than learning a pommel horse routine.

Nedoroscik could also be at a disadvantage after being paired with Rylee Arnold. Arnold has appeared on two seasons of Dancing With the Stars: Juniors and will make her DWTS debut this year. She is talented but lacks the experience of other pros this season.

Dwight Howard (+450)

Two competitors are tied for the second-best Dancing With the Stars odds this season. The first is former NBA player Dwight Howard. Howard was drafted into the NBA in 2004 and was a key member of the Los Angeles Lakers 2020 championship team.

In his prime, Howard was a great athlete, an eight-time All-Star and five-time All-NBA First Team selection. However, he is now 38 years old, and at 6’10″, he could struggle to master the dance moves needed to make a deep run in DWTS.

Howard is paired with Daniella Karagach this season, who finished second in season 32. Karagach first appeared on the show in season 29 and won it in season 30 with Iman Shumpert, another former NBA player. She is just 5’3″, but her experience with Shumpert should help Karagach navigate the height difference between her and Howard.

Ilona Maher (+450)

The other celebrity athlete listed at +450 odds to win Dancing With the Stars season 33 is Ilona Maher. Maher rose to fame this summer as a member of the US Women’s Rugby team, which won a bronze medal at the Olympics. She is paired with season 28 winner Alan Bersten for this season.

https://twitter.com/BenScottStevens/status/1817641145842933789

Maher is a great Rugby player, but due to her build, she could struggle to transition to ballroom dancing. If she applies the same mindset that led her to an Olympic medal, though, she should make a deep run in this competition.

The good news for Maher is she is working with Bersten, who has finished in the top five in five of his eight appearances on the show. He is also coming off his worst showing in the competition, finishing 13th in season 32 when partnered with Jamie Lynn Spears. Bersten’s poor performance should give him plenty of motivation this time around.

Danny Amendola (+600)

Rounding out the top four in Bovada’s Dancing With the Stars odds is former NFL player Danny Amendola (+600). He won two Super Bowls as a member of the Patriots and played for the Eagles, Rams, and Texans, among others.

Amendola will look to carry on the legacy of other former NFL players to compete on DWTS. His skills as a route runner should help him on the dance floor this fall.

The two-time Super Bowl champion will work with Witney Carson this year, one of the most experienced pros on the roster. Carson first competed on the show in season 18 and has finished in the top five eight times. She won the show with Alfonso Ribeiro in season 19.

Who Will Be the First Celebrity Eliminated From DWTS?

  • Reginald VelJohnson (+200)
  • Eric Roberts (+400)
  • Anna Delvey (+500)
  • Brooks Nader (+800)
  • Phaedra Parks (+800)
  • Tori Spelling (+800)

In addition to betting on the winner, Dancing With the Stars betting sites also let you wager on which celebrity will be eliminated first. Actor Reginald VelJohnson is the +200 favorite to be eliminated first in the latest odds for Dancing With the Stars season 33.

VelJohnson is followed closely by Eric Roberts (+400) and Anna Delvey (+500). Model Brooks Nader and TV personality Phaedra Parkers are tied for the fourth-best odds at +800.

Reginald VelJohnson (+200)

The favorite to be the first celebrity eliminated from DWTS season 33 is actor Reginald VelJohnson (+200). VelJohnson is best known for his roles in Die Hard and Family Matters. However, he is now 72 years old, and it is unlikely that he will advance far in the competition this season.

https://twitter.com/usweekly/status/1831554130688581913

VelJohnson is the oldest contestant participating this season. Any person in their 70s would struggle to learn ballroom dancing, so it is easy to see why VelJohnson is the favorite to be eliminated first.

Regardless of how long he stays on the show, VelJohnson will have a great partner to work with. He is paired with Emma Slater, who first competed on the show in season 14. Slater, along with Rashad Jennings, won season 24 of the show, and she has finished in the top 10 a total of 12 times.

Eric Roberts (+400)

Another experienced actor taking the dance floor this season is Eric Roberts. At 68 years old, the Biloxi, Mississippi native is the second-oldest celebrity participating in this season of DWTS. Roberts has the second-best odds of being eliminated first at +400.

As with VelJohnson, Roberts’ age will severely limit how far he can realistically progress in the competition. However, he only needs one good performance to avoid being the first contestant eliminated this season.

The professional tasked with getting Roberts past week 1 is Britt Stewart. She made her debut in the competition in season 29, partnering with Johnny Weir. Stewart has competed in four previous seasons of the show but has never finished higher than 5th.

Anna Delvey (+500)

Rounding out the top three in this prop wager is Anna Delvey (Sorokin), a Russian con artist who had to receive special permission from ICE to participate. Delvey has to wear an ankle monitor throughout the competition.

She is not known for her athleticism, and Delvey is unlikely to win over the voters, which sets her up for a quick elimination. Adding to her uphill battle to make a deep run is her partner, Ezra Sosa. This is Sosa’s first season as a dancer on the show.

Dancing With the Stars Season 33 Picks

Here are my predictions for this season based on the Dancing With the Stars odds listed above.

  • Danny Amendola Wins DWTS Season 33 (+600)
  • Reginald VelJohnson is the First Elimination (+200)

Amendola’s athleticism allowed him to transition from quarterback to wide receiver when he entered the NFL. I think it will also help him become a ballroom dancer and take home the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy this season. Conversely, I believe that Reginald VelJohnson, the oldest celebrity competing this season, will be the first competitor eliminated.
