Super Bowl 58 Commercial Betting

Commercials are one of the most anticipated parts of the Big Game, and you can even wager on them with special Super Bowl prop bets. In fact, some people only watch the Big Game for the commercials every year.

Whether you are a football fanatic or just an entertainment junkie, you can bet on Super Bowl commercials. The top Super Bowl prop betting sites have great betting markets available for the advertisements we will see during the Big Game.

I will break down the top Super Bowl commercial props below and give you my predictions for each wager. The odds for these bets were provided by BetUS Sportsbook.

Super Bowl Commercial Prop Bets

Super Bowl commercials are almost as exciting as the Big Game itself. Companies spend a fortune to keep fans glued to the screen during breaks in the action. You can make money during commercial breaks by using these exciting prop wagers for Super Boal 58 commercials.

BMW vs. Coors Light

  • BMW advertisement shown first (+150)
  • Coors Light advertisement shown first (-200)

One of the most popular Super Bowl prop bets for commercials is to bet on which company will have their advertisement aired first. For example, BetUS has Coors Light (-200) favored to have its advertisement shown before the first commercial from BMW (+150).

Car and beer commercials are both staples of the Big Game. I expect to see plenty from both industries during Super Bowl 58. In this specific bet between BMW and Coors Light, I am siding with the favorite.

Many non-football fans who watch the Super Bowl only tune in for the halftime show. With Usher taking the stage this year, commercial air time leading up to and directly after the halftime show will be at a premium. Viewership should peak during this point in the game.

BMW is one of the premier car brands that typically advertises during the Super Bowl. Coors Light, on the other hand, is not as well-known for its Big Game advertisements as other brands, such as Bud Light. With that in mind, I think the Coors Light ad will air early in the game, while the BMW commercial will air closer to halftime.

Prediction:

Coors Light advertisement shown first (-200)

Booking.com vs. Hellman’s

  • Booking.com advertisement shown first (-135)
  • Hellman’s advertisement shown first (-105)

Another head-to-head that you can bet on is whether a Booking.com ad or Hellman’s ad will be shown first. Football betting sites have Booking.com (-135) as the slight favorite in this prop wager.

I would bet on the underdog in this specific matchup, though. The ad for Hellman’s airing first is listed at -105 in this wager. You do not need to wait to see the ad from the mayonnaise company, either.

A few popular companies have already released their Super Bowl ads online. Hellman’s happens to be included in that group. A pair of SNL alums, Kate McKinnon and Pete Davidson, star in the advertisement for the Mayo brand.

Since we already know what the ad is going to be for Hellman’s, there is less suspense around the commercial. I think this will lead to it being aired early in the game, with the commercial for Booking.com being shown later on.

Prediction:

Hellman’s advertisement shown first (-105)

Drumstick vs. Uber Eats

  • Drumstick advertisement shown first (+150)
  • Uber Eats advertisement shown first (-200)

BetUS also has Super Bowl commercial props odds on a head-to-head matchup between Drumstick and Uber Eats. The current odds have Uber Eats listed as a -200 favorite to be shown first. This will be Drumstick’s first time advertising during the Big Game.

I agree with the oddsmakers on this matchup. Major sporting events like the Super Bowl can generate a lot of revenue for restaurants in the US. A company like Uber Eats that can deliver food to you, allows you to get food without missing a minute of the action.

Airing the Uber Eats ad early in the game will give football fans a reminder that they can use the delivery service during the game. The earlier you air it, the more time viewers have to use the service during the Super Bowl itself.

Prediction:

Uber Eats advertisement shown first (-200)

Nerds vs. Oreo

  • Nerds advertisement shown first (+100)
  • Oreo advertisement shown first (-140)

Sports betting sites also have head-to-head matchups between popular sweets brands. For example, you can wager on whether the Nerds (+100) or Oreo (-140) advertisement will be shown first.

As I mentioned above, some companies have already released their Big Game commercials online. Oreo is one of the popular brands that fall into that group.

For this year’s ad, Oreo will give fans a quick lesson in alternate history. We get to see how important historical events could have looked if people used the twice of an Oreo to make their decision. Reality TV star Kris Jenner stars in the commercial for the popular cookie.

We do not know what direction the Nerds commercial will go in, but it does offer better payout odds. Nerds is listed at even money in this prop, giving you slightly better payout odds than Oreo. Since Oreo is the more popular brand, I think it will be shown second, so I suggest betting on Nerds in this wager.

Prediction:

Nerds advertisement shown first (+100)

Popeyes vs. Dove

  • Popeyes advertisement shown first (-120)
  • Dove advertisement shown first (-120)

Rounding out the head-to-head commercial wages currently available at BetUS is this matchup between Popeyes and Dove. Both brands are listed at -120 in the latest Super Bowl commercial odds.

With no difference in betting odds, it is more challenging to pick between these two popular brands. In general, I think that food advertisers will want to have their commercials air early in the game. This will give viewers more time to order from them for the big game.

This wager does not specify whether it is for Dove chocolate or Dove soap. Either way, I think that Popeyes is the way to go for this bet. The chicken-focused restaurant will likely want its ad aired early in the game so more people will be tempted to order it before the game is over.

Prediction:

Popeyes advertisement shown first (-120)

Will Any Advertisement Joke About Joe Biden or Donald Trump

  • Yes (+300)
  • No (-500)

You can also wager on the subject or events of Super Bowl 58 commercials. For example, this prop wager lets you bet on whether any ad will make fun of the two leading 2024 presidential candidates, President Joe Biden and Donald Trump.

All signs point toward the 2024 election being a rematch of the 2020 presidential election. Super Bowl commercials are not typically political, but that could change this year. The “no” option for this bet is a heavy favorite at -500.

However, I think that the “yes” option is a good wager at +300 odds. Even a half-stake wager could result in a good-sized payout on this bet. All you would need to win is for one of the dozens of ads on Super Bowl Sunday to mock either presidential candidate.

The risk of mocking either candidate could backfire, but companies have made worse advertising mistakes in the past. I would take the yes option, but I would not bet a full stake on it. Instead, I suggest only betting half or even just a quarter of your normal stake amount.

Prediction:

An advertisement will joke about Joe Biden or Donald Trump (+300)

Cost of a 30-Second Advertisement for Super Bowl 58

  • Over $7,000,000.50 (-165)
  • Under $7,000,000.50 (+120)

Last but not least, you can also on the cost of a 30-second commercial during Super Bowl 58. For this market, BetUS will be using adage.com to determine the winning side of this totals wager. The over/under is set at $7,000,000.50 USD.

Last year, advertisers had to pay between $6 million and $7 million for their 30-second spots on Super Bowl Sunday. I think that the cost of advertising will only go up, especially with all of the stars that should be at Super Bowl 58.

With that in mind, I would take the over in this Super Bowl commercials totals wager. It is the favorite, but the over still offers good payout odds at -165.

Prediction:

The cost of a 30-second Super Bowl 58 advertisement is over $7,000,000.50 (-165)
