2025 Australian Open Men’s Odds

PlayerMen’s Australian Open OddsWorld Rank
Jannik Sinner+150#1
Carlos Alcaraz+330#3
Novak Djokovic+350#7
Alexander Zverev+1000#2
Daniil Medvedev+1400#5
Taylor Fritz+2800#4
Stefanos Tsitsipas+2800#11
Holger Rune+4000#13
Ben Shelton+5000#21
Alex de Minaur+5000#9
Andrey Rublev+5000#8
Arthur Fils+5000#20

World number one Jannik Sinner is the +150 favorite in the men’s Australian Open betting odds. Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic are close second and third at +330 and +350, respectively. Alexander Zverev (+1000) and last year’s runner-up, Daniil Medvedev (+1400), round out the top five.

Jannik Sinner (+150)

The reigning men’s Australian Open champion and the top-ranked player in the ATP is Jannik Sinner. He also won the US Open last year, his second career Grand Slam title. BetUS lists Sinner as the +150 favorite to repeat as the Australian Open champion again this year.

Sinner made at least the quarterfinal round in every Grand Slam event last year. He also won the ATP Finals last year, defeating Taylor Fritz in two sets. If Sinner can keep his momentum from last year rolling, he could claim his second Australian Open title.

Carlos Alcaraz (+330)

The player with the best odds to prevent Sinner from repeating as the Australian Open champion is Carlos Alcaraz. He is currently third in the ATP rankings, and Alcaraz is listed at +330 odds to win the first grand slam of 2025.

Alcaraz lost in the quarterfinals of the 2024 Australian Open, but we followed up that disappointing performance by winning the French Open and Wimbledon. He ended the year on a down note, though, losing in the second round of the US Open. Hard courts have given Alcaraz trouble in recent years, but he did win the US Open in 2022.

Novak Djokovic (+350)

Novak Djokovic lost to Alcaraz at Wimbledon last year, but he got revenge a few weeks later at the Paris Olympics, where he defeated Alcaraz in the gold medal match. He can continue to grow his legacy by extending his record number of Australian Open championships.

Djokovic has won 10 Australian Open titles, making it his most successful event. His last title game was in 2023, but his quest for back-to-back titles ended in the semifinals at the hands of Sinner. Djokovic is nearing the end of his career, and this could be his last chance to win the Australian Open.

Alexander Zverev (+1000)

World number two, Alexander Zverev, is listed at 10-1 odds to win his first career grand slam. He made the Semifinals at this event last year, his second-best performance in 2024. Zverev lost to Daniil Medvedev, and then lost to Alcaraz in the finals of the French open.

Since 2020, Zverev has competed in all but two grand slam tournaments. Over that span, he has two losses in the finals, six in the semifinals, and three in the quarterfinals. Zverev is a good bet to make a deep run in the upcoming Australian Open, but he has not been able to get over the hump and win a grand slam so far in his career.

Daniil Medvedev (+1400)

Rounding out the top five is, fittingly, the fifth-rank player in the ATP, Daniil Medvedev. Secure sportsbooks list Medvedev at +1400 odds to win his first Australian Open title and his second grand slam. Medvedev has lost in the finals three of the last four years, including last year.

He has made six grand slam finals, all of them on hard courts. However, Medvedev is just 1-5 in the finals, and all his losses have been against Sinner (1), Djokovic (2), and Rafael Nadal (2). Nadal is retired, but Medvedev must still contend with Sinner and Djokovic to win this year’s Australian Open.

2025 Australian Open Women’s Odds

PlayerWomen’s Australian Open OddsWorld Rank
Aryna Sabalenka+225#1
Iga Swiatek+400#2
Coco Gauff+400#3
Elena Rybakina+700#6
Qinwen Zheng+1600#5
Jessica Pegula+2000#7
Naomi Osaka+2200#57
Karolina Muchova+2200#22
Mirra Andreeva+2500#16
Jasmine Paolini+2800#4

Aryna Sabalenka is the betting favorite in the Women’s Australian Open betting odds. She is the top-ranked player in the WTP and is available at +225 to win her third straight Australian Open.

The second and third-ranked players, Iga Swiatek and Coco Gauff, are tied for the second-best odds at +400. Elena Rybakina (+700) and Qinwen Zheng (+1600) round out the top five.

Aryna Sabalenka (+225)

Aryna Sabalenka has dominated on hard courts over the last two years. She has won back-to-back Australian Opens and claimed her first US Open title in 2024. Her last loss in a grand slam on a hard court came in the finals of the 2023 US Open, losing in three sets to Coco Gauff.

https://x.com/eurosport/status/1873013507480010784

Sabalenka is listed at +225 to win the Australian Open again in 2025. She has not lost in this event since 2022, and with a win this year, she can become the sixth woman to win three consecutive Australian Opens. The last woman to three-peat was Martina Hingis from 1997 to 1999.

Iga Swiatek (+400)

Two women are tied at +400 for the second-best Women’s Australian Open odds. The first is Iga Swiatek, the second-ranked player in the WTP. Swiatek has five grand slam titles in her career, including three consecutive wins at the French Open. However, she has just one title on a hard court, her 2022 US Open championship.

Swiatek has had her fair share of trouble at this event. Her loss in the 2022 semifinals is the only time she has made it out of round play at the Australian Open. She has a 74% win percentage at this event, her second-lowest of any grand slam.

Coco Gauff (+400)

The other player listed at 4-1 odds in the latest 2025 Australian Open odds is Coco Gauff. She is currently ranked third in the world and made the semifinals in last year’s Australian Open. However, like Swiatek, this event is Gauff’s second-worst grand slam tournament, as she wins just 71% of the time.

Gauff won her first grand slam at the 2023 US Open and made two semifinals last year. She also made it to the third round in the 2024 Paris Olympics, losing to Donna Vekic.

Elena Rybakina (+700)

The last competitor with better than 10-1 odds to win the women’s 2025 Australian Open is Elene Rybakina. She is currently ranked sixth in the WTP and was the runner-up at the 2023 Australian Open. Her lone career grand slam win came on the grass courts at Wimbledon.

Rybakina has only advanced past round play once at the Australia Open, when she reached the finals in 2023. In fact, that is the only time she has it to the fourth round or later on the hard courts at either the Australian Open or the US Open.
