Aaron Rodgers RFK Jr.

Aaron Rodgers’ VP odds have skyrocketed in recent days. The New York Jets QB is reportedly one of the top candidates to join Robert F. Kennedy Jr. on the campaign trail this year. Rodgers is still under contract with the Jets, but that would not stop him from running for office.

You can bet on politics online and take advantage of the latest RDK Jr. VP odds. Rodgers is just one of several interesting candidates who could be nominated for the position. Keep reading to see the latest odds and my RFK Jr. VP prediction.

RFK Jr. VP Odds

RFK Jr. originally announced his candidacy as a Democratic candidate but has since switched and is now an Independent. He has been actively campaigning, but, like Trump, RFK Jr. has yet to announce his vice presidential running mate.

Here are the favorites to join RFK on the campaign trail this year. These RFK Jr. VP odds were provided by BetUS.

  • Aaron Rodgers (-140)
  • Tony Robbins (+100)
  • Jesse Ventura (+115)
  • Marianne Williamson (+1500)
  • Andrew Yang (+1800)

Aaron Rodgers’ VP odds lead the pack at -140. The next closest potential nominee is motivational speaker Tony Robbins (+100). Jesse Ventura (+115) has the third-best odds in this betting market.

Could Aaron Rodgers Be RFK Jr.’s VP?

Aaron Rodgers’ debut with the New York Jets was cut short when he tore his Achilles on his fourth play of the season opener. The future Hall of Famer stayed in the headlines, though, with claims that he could return to the field just months after suffering the season-ending injury.

Rodgers ultimately failed to do that, but he did convince many football fans that he was capable of the superhuman feat. The quarterback has also made a name for himself by supporting a variety of conspiracy theories.

He even challenged Chiefs TE Travis Kelce and Dr. Anthony Fauci to a debate over the COVID-19 Vaccine. Rodgers said he and RFK Jr. would take the anti-vaccine side in the debate.

That challenge was issued in October, so Rodgers and RFK Jr. have likely been close for some time. The pair could double down on their friendship by running for office this fall. Rodgers (-140) is the current betting favorite to be RFK Jr’s VP pick.

Public opinion of Rodgers’ is not as high as before the pandemic. He also lacks the political experience of many other candidates, which could limit the legitimacy he adds to RFK Jr.’s campaign.

Will RFK Jr. Pick Jesse Ventura as VP?

Another possible VP pick that has gained steam in recent weeks is Jesse Ventura. The former Navy Seal gained popularity as a professional wrestler in the 1970s and 1980s. “The Body” became “The Brain” in the late 1990s, and Ventura was elected Governor of Minnesota.

Ventura left office in 2003 and has teased several presidential and vice presidential runs since. Like RFK Jr., Ventura has made a career out of questioning the government and promoting conspiracy theories. He is listed at +115 to be RFK Jr’s pick as Vice President.

On paper, Ventura and RFK Jr. are a good match. They are both in their early 70s, but RFK Jr. and Ventura are younger than President Biden, 81,  and Donald Trump, 77.

However, it is believed that RFK JR. has already contacted his preferred VP choices. According to Ventura’s son, “The Brain,” he has received no offers from the RFK camp.

Ventura has been out of politics for decades, which could hurt his viability as a candidate. He also decided against running for President in 2020 due to health issues. Ventura has been vocal about his belief that he would beat Trump in a debate, but we may not get a chance to see it.

Could Tony Robbins Be RFK Jr.’s Running Mate?

One potential candidate that has overtaken Ventura in the latest RFK. Jr. VP odds is Tony Robbins. The motivational speaker and author is listed at even money to join RFK Jr. on the ticket this November.

Robbins is a popular speaker and would likely do well in debates if he is the VP pick. He has name recognition, too, and even had a reality TV show in 2010. Robbins could be the next TV star-turned-politician if he joins RFK on the campaign trail this year.

Not all of the buzz around Robbins has been popular, though. Robbins faced multiple sexual assault and sexual harassment allegations in 2019.

Those allegations could hurt Robbin’s in debates and the court of public opinion. However, he would not be the first person elected to the White House while facing such allegations. I believe Robbins’ lack of political experience will be the bigger obstacle.

Robbins could help fund some campaign activities, though. He has plenty of money from his own career and several successful investments over the years. The potential investment into the campaign could be one reason to bring Robbins into the fold.

Would Marianne Williamson Be a good VP for RFK Jr.?

One potential RFK VP candidate with some political experience is Marianne Williamson. She has the fourth-best odds to be RFK Jr.’s VP, but Williamson is listed at just +1500.

The gap between Williamson and the candidates in the top three is sizeable. However, she would offer advantages to RFK Jr.’s campaign that other candidates could not. For instance, she has been an active political candidate for the last decade.

An experienced running mate would help add legitimacy to RFK Jr.’s candidacy. She could also help RFK Jr. win the support of discouraged Democratic voters looking for a different candidate to vote for.

Williamson would bring support from her own presidential campaign. The pastor and author launched her campaign in 2023.

Williamson won 4% of the vote in the New Hampshire primary in January. She has since dropped out of the race after her primary performance did not improve.

However, Williamson could jump back into the race by joining her campaign with RFK Jr. The duo would, in theory, combine supporters and make a formidable third-party team.

Is Andrew Yang Joining RFK Jr. on the Campaign Trail?

Andrew Tang rounds out the top five in the latest RFK Jr. VP odds. Yang is listed at +1800, making him a strong dark horse candidate.

Like Williamson, Yang has attempted his own presidential campaigns in the past. He ran for the Democratic nomination in 2020 and gained a lot of popularity online. Yang’s campaign slogan, “Not Left, Not Right, Forward,” was especially popular.

He was even endorsed by Elon Musk and Tesla. However, Yang withdrew from the race in February 2020 and endorsed Biden. He also ran for Mayor of New York in 2021 but lost to Eric Adams.

Since losing the mayoral election, Yang has remained active in politics. He was a co-founder of the Forward Party and has endorsed several political candidates in recent years. Earlier this year, Yang endorsed Dean Phillips’ presidential campaign.

Yang is just 49, making him one of the youngest potential VP candidates for RFK Jr. His prior success with online-based campaigning could be a huge boost to RFK Jr.’s campaign.

Who Will RFK Jr. Pick as VP?

RFK Jr. has emerged as the leading third-party candidate in the 2024 election. It is extremely unlikely that he will win the election, but he could siphon off enough votes to impact the outcome of the election.

BetUS has RFK Jr. listed at +2500 to win the 2024 presidential election. However, a strong VP pick could help improve the odds.

The apparent friendship between Aaron Rodgers and RFK Jr. could heavily impact the latter’s decision.

Former football players have had some success in politics. Herschel Walker, for instance, nearly won the 2022 U.S. Senate race in Georgia.

Rodgers is still playing in the NFL, though, which could limit his availability to attend campaign events. On the bright side, the 2024 election winners will not be sworn in until mid-January, so Rodgers and the Jets’ season will be long over by then.

Prediction: Aaron Rodgers (-140)

Will You Bet on Aaron Rodgers’ VP Odds?

Aaron Rodgers is the betting favorite to join RFK Jr. this fall in the 2024 presidential election. Rodgers is still playing in the NFL, but that would not stop him from trying to run for Vice President. Running on a third-party ticket would also fit Rodgers’ anti-establishment persona.
