2024-25 EuroLeague Odds and Favorites

Bovada Sportsbook is a great betting site for basketball fans at every level. Here are the latest EuroLeague odds from Bovada.

Olympiacos is currently tied for third in the EuroLeague with a 9-5 record through the first 14 games. Despite a sluggish start, Bovada lists Olympiacos as the favorites to win the EuroLeague Championship (+290) and the regular season (+275).

Panathinaikos (+330) has the best odds to upset Olympiacos for the championship. Secure sportsbooks have AS Monaco and Fenerbahçe tied for the third-best title odds at +800. Panathinaikos has the second-best regular season odds as well, with Paris (+500) rounding out the top three.

Olympiacos (+290)

The betting favorite to win the EuroLeague Championship this season is Olympiacos. Bovada lists the three-time champions at +290 to win the title this season. Olympiacos finished third last year after losing to Real Madrid in the Semifinals and defeating Fenerbahçe in the third-place game.

Making it back to the Final Four will be easier said than done, but Olympiacos has a talented team. Sasha Vezenkov leads the team with 18.1 points per game, which ranks sixth in the league. Former NBA veteran Evan Fournier has also been productive this year, averaging 15.4 PPG, the 11th-highest.

As a team, Olympiacos ranks sixth with 85.7 PPG and second in assists (20.6) and free throws made (17.8). They have also earned a performance rating of 99.7 this season, second only to the other Greek team and the reigning champions, Panathinaikos.

Panathinaikos (+330)

Speaking of Panathinaikos, last year’s champs are listed at +330 to win the title again this season. Panathinaikos’s title defense has not had an ideal start, with the champions earning an 8-6 record through the first 14 games.

Their current record is surprising after a Panathinaikos started 7-3. However, they have lost three of their last four, and their only win during that span was a 90-89 win over Barcelona. Panathinaikos needs its stars to follow Kendrick Nunn’s lead and step up to keep their championship defense on track.

Nunn, who played in the NBA with the Heat, Lakers, and Wizards, joined Panathinaikos last year. He averaged 16.0 PPG during their championship season. Nunn has built on his strong start, averaging 18.4 PPG, tied for fourth-most in the league to start this season.

Fenerbahçe Beko (+800)

Fenerbahçe Beko finished fourth in the EuroLeague last season, losing to Panathinaikos and Olympiacos in the Semifinals and third-place games. Ending the season on back-to-back losses was disappointing, but on the bright side, last year was the first time Fenerbahçe made the final four since the 2018-2019 season.

Fenerbahçe ranks first in the EuroLeague in total rebounds, averaging 37.1 rebounds per game. However, they have struggled to turn their extra possessions into points, averaging the third-lowest PPG (79.6) in the league.

The good news is Nigel Hayes-Davis (17.4), Wade Baldwin (10.9), and Tarik Biberovic (10.8) are all average double-digit points this season. Hayes-Davis has the seventh-most PPG this year and is averaging the second-most minutes in the league.

Barcelona (+1100)

Two teams are listed at 11-1 odds to win the EuroLeague championship this season. The first is Barcelona, which is one of four teams to start 8-6 this year. They finished fourth in the 2022-2023 season, but Barcelona failed to make the top four after losing in five games to Olympiacos in the playoffs.

Barcelona’s loss to Olympiacos ended its three-year streak of making the Final Four in the EuroLeague. A disappointing end to last season could be the perfect motivation for Barcelona to make a deep run this year. They have multiple players averaging at least 10 points per game, including Kevin Punter (16.1), Jabari Parker (14.1), and Jan Vesely (10.4).

Nicolas Laprovittola averaged 10.0 PPG but only played in four games before his season-ending ACL and meniscus injuries. FC Barcelona has gone just 5-5 without Laprovittola, and replacing the experienced guard will be tough to do.

Real Madrid (+1100)

The other club listed at +1100 odds to win the EuroLeague this season is Real Madrid. With 11 total championships, Real Madrid has been the most successful team in the league’s history. They have also made the finals each of the last three years but only have one title (2022-2023) to show for it.

Their historical success makes it challenging not to pick Real Madrid every year. In addition to winning 11 titles, they have been the runner-up 10 times, giving Real Madrid a total of 21 finals appearances. On the other hand, their 6-8 start will be challenging to overcome.

Real Madrid has four players averaging double-digit points this season. However, Mario Hezonja, the team’s highest scorer, is putting up just 13.7 PPG, the 19th most in the league. On the bright side, Real Madrid is fourth in Performance Rating this year, and they have plenty of time to right the ship this season.

Paris (+1400)

Paris leads the EuroLeague with 11 wins through the first 14 games of the season. The French team has the third-best odds to win the regular season at +500. However, Paris is listed at +1400 to win the EuroLeague Championship, the seventh-best odds of any team.

This is Paris Basketball’s first year in the EuroLeague, so they are somewhat of an unknown. The rookie club has done well this year, and TJ Shorts has led the way with 18.6 PPG, third-most in the league. Nadir Hifi (13.4) and Tyson Ward (11.4) are also averaging double-digits this year.

Paris Basketball is the least experienced club in more ways than one, having only been established in 2018. Despite their novelty, Paris has already won the LNB Pro A Leaders Cup (2024) and the 2023-2024 EuroCup. They could establish themselves as the next big thing in European basketball with a run to the EuroLeague Championship in their debut season.

Expert Predictions for the 2024-25 EuroLeague Winner

Paris’s hot start has them atop the EuroLeague in their first season, but they are relative long shots to win the title this year. I like the French team as a dark horse, but they are not my EuroLeague winner prediction.

Fenerbahçe Beko (+800) is tied for the third-best odds, and I think the Turkish team will take home the championship this year. They have made the playoffs three of the last four years. Fenerbahçe Beko will take another step forward this season by winning their third championship and first since the 2016-2017 season.
