Welcome to my Metal Casino review. I’ll be covering games, bonuses and
promotions, customer service, banking methods and payouts, and the overall
player experience. As with all my other casino reviews, this one will drill down
deep into the underbelly of this casino, highlighting its strengths and exposing
its flaws.

When I first landed at Metal Casino and had a quick look around, I was
excited about the theme of this casino, being a bit of a rock and roller myself.
The design has been expertly crafted to attract people like me, and I have to
say, it does as intended! I liked the look of the games, too, since I saw
several big-name operators like NetEnt and Microgaming in the mix.

If you’re a new reader, let me fill you in on what to expect. This site
prides itself on taking a no-nonsense approach to casino reviews. You’ll notice
I call it like it is, and I’m not afraid to call casinos out when we see them
straying from the straight path. This site doesn’t take payoffs or bribes, and
doesn’t do advertising disguised as reviews. I’m sure you’ve heard that before
but read on and see for yourself.

So, what does Metal Casino have to offer you as a potential player? That’s
what I’m planning on outlining here.

Ratings Breakdown

Overall

Metal Casino is doing almost everything the way it should be, with only one
notable flaw in the entire operation.

I love the high-quality selection of games, I think the design is one of the
best I’ve ever seen, the customer service team made me feel welcome and valued,
and the bonuses, both for new and existing players, are fantastic.

However, Metal Casino drags its feet when it comes time to pay up, by only
offering one (slow) method of withdrawal – a SEPA bank transfer.

That’s a shame, because honestly, as you’ll discover if you read on, almost
everything else about this casino is as close to ideal as it gets.

If you’re a patient Patty who doesn’t mind waiting 3-5 days to get your
winnings, fair play to you. I’m more of a “give me it now so I can spend it”
type, and so while the slow payment method isn’t a total deal-breaker for me, it
would make me think twice about playing here in the future.

Game Variety

Metal Casino doesn’t compromise on quality with its games, so there is a
smaller selection than you might be used to if you’ve been playing at online
casinos for a long time.

That’s not necessarily a bad thing, though, for precisely the reason
mentioned above – all the games are world-class.

That said, there are none of the blackjack variants such as Vegas Strip,
Atlantic City, or Perfect Pairs that you might have seen elsewhere. Likewise,
there’s a fairly limited selection of video poker titles. I like a bit of
Louisiana Double myself, and you won’t find that here.

I feel that since Metal Casino is a relatively new brand and since they are
regularly updating the game library, I should go a little easy on them on this.

I definitely believe that quality beats quantity every time, but I’d still
like to see a few more variants of the table and card games, at a minimum.

Banking

This is where Metal Casino lets itself down, and its players, too.

There are 5 different ways to deposit at this casino, all of which mean
instant money in your player account. However, when it comes time to take what’s
yours, the only way to get your hands on the money is SEPA bank transfer.

If you read my reviews regularly, you’ll know this is a pet peeve of mine. If
a casino is quick to take your money, it should be equally quick to give it back
when the time comes due.

Metal Casino definitely has some work to do in the banking department. This
score would have been a 2.0/5.0 except for the fact that all transactions are
fee-free and there are no complaints about refusals to pay or other shenanigans
like that.

It seems the money does actually get there, even if it takes the best part of
a week to do so.

Bonuses

There’s nothing I like to see more than a promotions page jam-packed full of
casino bonuses. That tells me the casino has put thought into catering to all
kinds of players, and so will probably by default have above average customer
service.

Metal Casino doesn’t offer lots of different bonuses, but it does offer
ongoing bonuses through “levelling up,” which earns you a chance to spin one of
the bonus wheels. I like that there are different “intensity” bonus wheels, as
such, meaning the higher you climb through the levels, the more you get to win.

I will also give Metal Casino major points for offering jackpots with no
wagering requirements on its bonus wheels. It definitely would be nice to scoop
a €2,000 jackpot and not have to wager it, although I wasn’t so fortunate.

As far as minimum deposits and wagering requirements go, everything is on the
up and up, as 25x on cash and 35x on free spins are standard, and the minimum
deposit in most cases is €10.

Customer Service

There’s nothing worse than being met with a smiling face and warm welcome
when you have money in your hand, only to be treated like you don’t exist when
problems arise or it comes time to get out your winnings.

Thankfully, Metal Casino delivers excellent customer service. There’s no
telephone hotline, which is a pain for people like me who prefer to pick up the
phone and chat with someone, but the live chat is always available, and the
agents are friendly and helpful.

I personally got a relatively quick response from sending an email (4 hours),
but I did read a few comments from existing players saying it can get bogged
down at peak times, especially on Friday nights.

Anyway, I can only base this score on my own experience, and I was treated
the way I expect to be. Well done on the customer service front, Metal!

User Interface

As far as design goes, I give Metal Casino 5.0/5.0. It’s an extremely
attractive website, no matter what device you visit on. It is especially so if
you’re into rock music, since you’ll see black and white photos of Ozzy Osbourne
in full gear, electric guitars with poker chips scattered about, and skulls with
more poker chips scattered around them rotating in the background of the main
lobby page.

The general user-interface is excellent, too, but there are a few things
which could be done better.

First, while I like how the games are arranged in novel categories such as
“High Voltage” to fit the rock image, there are no categories like “slots,”
“video poker,” or “blackjack.” This means if you want to play video poker, for
example, you have to search for the individual title you want, or sift through
the various categories until you stumble across what you’re looking for.

I would also like to be able to save my favorite games easily by clicking a
little icon like I’ve seen at some other online casinos.

On the whole, though, Metal Casino’s design is both striking and
user-friendly. It’s worth checking the site out just to see it.

Mobile Compatibility

Metal Casino is fully mobile ready and compatible with both Android and iOS
devices. There’s no app for download, so all you have to do is visit the website
via Chrome, Safari, Samsung Internet, or some other mobile browser.

Again, the design is super slick and attention-grabbing. If you’re a rock
fan, you’ll likely be enthralled by it. There’s something about the red and
black color scheme and the selected pictures that just sets the perfect tone
(pun fully intended).

The range of games in the mobile casino is extensive, although there are
notably fewer live games. If you want to play against live dealers, you’ll be
limited to blackjack, roulette, and casino hold’em.

Navigating around the mobile site is a piece of cake, and you can search for
any game using the search bar feature on the main menu.

I would give it 5.0/5.0, but I know some players prefer to download an app,
which in this case isn’t available.

The Basics About Metal Casino

You can tell a lot about an online casino by its gaming licenses, and I’m
happy to see valid, up to date ones from both the UK Gambling Commission and the
Malta Gaming Authority. These are both tough regulators, and the UKGC seal of
approval is considered the best an online casino can have.

Metal Casino is a relatively new brand, having just come online in 2017.
However, the operators behind it are far from new. MT SecureTrade has a long
history in iGaming, and operated Guts, Rizk, and Dunder, among other respected
online gambling sites. This is definitely a positive thing and it gives me
confidence in Metal Casino from the outset.

It also appears that Metal Casino takes corporate social responsibility
pretty seriously. Whether or not that matters to you I don’t know, but it’s nice
to know that some of the revenue I put through this casino’s register will be
going to support the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, and up and coming rock
bands looking for a break. Those are values I can align myself with. It always
feels good to spend money on something that matters.

Metal casino does have a list of restricted countries. These include:

Now that the business-related stuff is out of the way, let’s turn our
attention to the actual casino itself.

The Casino

When I first landed in the lobby at Metal Casino, I thought I’d accidentally
clicked my way through to a heavy metal fan site, or one selling tickets to
concerts. It didn’t take long to figure out that this is simply the image of
this casino, though.

Once I realized that, I was immediately impressed by how awesome it looks.
This casino could easily win a “design of the year” award. The color scheme is
red and black, with high definition black and white photos of rock legend Ozzy
Osbourne, and a few other metal images.

I also found that I could trade in my loyalty points for authentic signed
merchandise from rock legends, which is a cool touch.

Apart from the design, I found that everything else about this casino, bar
one thing, was pretty much spot on. There’s plenty of variety in the games,
they’re all high quality, and the customer service is ace.

I also logged on with both my mobile and desktop devices and found this
casino to be perfectly compatible with both.

All good then. So, what’s the one thing I found that wasn’t spot on? I’ll
reveal that a little later.

Game Variety

Metal Casino offers a fairly large selection of casino games covering most
bases. This isn’t the largest game library I have encountered, but it will
suffice for most of us.

There are well over 500 games here, with new ones being added literally as
they are released. Game categories include card games, table games, video slots,
live dealer games, and a few video poker variants.

I’d call the selection ample for casual players. If you’re a hardcore gambler
with a taste for every exotic variant of blackjack or video poker, this might
not be enough for you. However, if you’re an everyday player with no idea what
the difference is between classic blackjack and Atlantic City blackjack, the
games offered will likely be more than enough.

Audio/Video Quality

As far as the quality of the games themselves is concerned, it’s all
standard. I played Red Dog poker (NetEnt), Multi Wheel roulette (Microgaming),
and Pai Gow poker (Play’n GO). All of the games are pretty standard digital
casino games, with no problems such as freezes. They all load fairly quickly in
about 10-15 seconds.

One minor gripe I have is that every time I exited a game I was taken back to
the main lobby when I wanted to play another table game. This is a little
annoying, but nothing major.

I would also like to be able to bookmark games, such as by adding them to my
favorites. This is something Metal Casino could add in the future.

Software

The first clue as to the quality of the games at any online casino is which
software providers are behind them.

It was good to see NetEnt, Microgaming, IGT, NYX Interactive, and Evolution
Gaming in the lineup. These are all world-class software companies with a long
track record of producing excellent games.

It would be nice to be able to search for games by the software provider.
Again, this is a feature Metal Casino could add to take things to the next
level.

Slots

I love spinning the reels as much as the next player, and there’s no doubt
that slots are the main event at most online casinos. There’s something
mesmerizing about them, and the sound of a jackpot being paid out is one of the
sweetest sounds in the world.

A casino which fails in the slots department fails entirely, in my view.
Luckily, Metal Casino doesn’t fail, and slots make up the vast majority of the
games on offer here.

There are several hundred video slots in total here. The selection is being
updated constantly as new games come out, and the customer service agent
confirmed that 3 new games had been added in the week before I visited.

Slots range from classics like Major Millions to more recent popular titles
like Gonzo’s Quest and Starburst. A few of the best progressive jackpot slots on
the web are available, including Mega Moolah, Hall of Gods, Mega Fortune, and
Divine Fortune.

It’s possible to play most of the slots without an account, but keep in mind
that as soon as you log in, the “demo mode’ option will disappear. Ssssshhh! I
didn’t tell you that.

I recommend checking out the following slots:

There are lots of other slots at Metal Casino. I’ve just listed the above
because they offer interesting features and worthwhile jackpots.

I particularly liked how Metal Casino arranged the games by unique categories
such as Killer Games, High Voltage, and Number of the Beast. This is cool, and
along with the search feature on the top menu, makes it easy to find the games
you might be interested in.

Video Poker

You can always tell a seasoned gambler by how much video poker they play.
This is one of the few games in the casino that can actually pay back more than
100% if you play the right variant and use a perfect video poker strategy.

Veteran casino players know this, and that’s why you’ll find them playing
video poker for hours on end. I like to see plenty of video poker variants at
any online casino I visit.

Video poker games at Metal Casino include:

  • All American
  • Aces & Faces
  • Deuces Wild
  • Jacks or Better
  • Joker Poker
  • Tens or Better
  • Double Double Bonus Poker

This isn’t a fantastic selection. It covers the basics but leaves out some of
the more exotic variants. Do you see what I mean about the game selection being
most suited to casual players?

The quality of the games is excellent, though. They’re provided by NetEnt,
Microgaming, and Play’n GO, so quality is to be expected.

Table Games

Go to any land-based casino in the world, and the table games are where the
action is. Yes, slots are fun, but it’s in blackjack, poker, and craps where
you’ll see crowds of players howling, whooping, and sighing in either relief or
disappointment.

No casino would be complete without the 3 most popular table and card games
at a minimum – baccarat, blackjack, and roulette.

The choice of digital table and card games at Metal Casino includes:

  • Classic Blackjack
  • Gold Series Blackjack
  • American Roulette
  • European Roulette
  • French Roulette
  • Multi-Wheel Roulette
  • Super Wheel Roulette
  • Monopoly Tycoon Roulette
  • Pai Gow Poker
  • Red Dog Poker

This selection covers all the most popular games, although again, the exotic
variants aren’t available.

I liked that I could play these in demo mode to check out the quality before
committing. On that subject, they’re all world-class and I encountered zero
problems after trying a couple of the roulette games and a few hands of
blackjack.

Live Casino

The live games at Metal Casino are provided by both NetEnt and Evolution
Gaming.

Your choices include:

  • Baccarat
  • Blackjack
  • Casino hold’em
  • Dream Catcher
  • Roulette

There are a couple of different versions of roulette, including American,
European, and French versions. Take your pick of whichever one you like most.

As you would expect from such reputable providers, the games are as good as
it gets. It’s not possible to play these in demo mode, though, so be prepared to
pay to play.

Banking Options

This is the area where I feel Metal Casino does a slight disservice to its
players because there are multiple ways to make deposits, but only one way to
get your money out again.

I don’t like that, and I always call casinos out on it when I see it. Why not
offer just as many ways to get your money out as are offered to put it in? It
really wouldn’t take much.

This is poor form and Metal Casino loses a few points with me for it. That
said, there are no extra fees from the casino side for making the withdrawal.
Check with your bank, though, as some do charge for casino transactions.

I’ve encountered this limited number of withdrawal methods before. It’s not
the norm at online casinos, but it isn’t exactly unheard of either. If you’re
willing to wait 3-5 business days to get your moolah, maybe it won’t bother you.

I give some credit to Metal Casino for not charging any extra fees for either
deposits or withdrawals, but it has to sort the number of withdrawal methods
out, pronto.

Also be aware that if you want to claim the Metal Casino welcome bonus
(outlined in the next section) you won’t be eligible to do so if you use
Neteller or Skrill for your first deposit.

Bonus Promotions

Metal Casino does offer a welcome bonus and a pretty generous one at that. In
fact, it offers a first deposit bonus and a reload bonus, so there are actually
two bonuses.

There’s no specific VIP program at Metal Casino, but from the minute you sign
up you’ll be earning “Met Coins.” These are this casino’s version of loyalty
points and when you reach certain thresholds you’ll be able to trade them in for
extra bonuses and merchandise.

However, there are “levels” within this site. Each time you unlock a new
level you will be given a spin on one of the bonus wheels.

Metal Casino Welcome Bonus

How much you can claim as a first deposit bonus depends on how much you
deposit. The more you deposit, the better the bonus wheel you get to spin on.

Here’s a quick look at your options:

  • If you deposit between €10
and €49 you can claim 100% and 5 spins of the Super Wheel
  • If you deposit between €50
and €99 you can claim 100% and 5 spins of the Mega Wheel
  • If you deposit over €100 you
will get 100% up to €100 and 5 spins of the Epic Wheel

Metal Casino Reload Bonus

If you like what you see the first time around, you’re eligible to make a
second deposit and claim the following:

  • If you deposit between €10
and €49 you can claim 50% and 666 Met Coins
  • If you deposit between €50
and €99 you can claim 50% and 1,400 Met Coins
  • If you deposit €100 or more
you can claim 50% up to €100 and 3,000 Met Coins

These Met Coins can then be traded in for free spins, extra bonuses, or Metal
Casino merchandise such as hats, t-shirts, hoodies, and even guitars signed by
rock gods.

Each bonus wheel has free spins and a jackpot. Naturally, the Epic Wheel
offers more than the Mega Wheel, and the Mega Wheel offers more than the Super
Wheel. Basically, the more you deposit, the more you can win.

Wagering requirements of 25x apply to both the welcome bonus and reload
bonus. Obviously, the minimum deposit in each case is €10.

Golden Wheel Free Spins

As you might have put together already, Metal Casino is pretty big on its
bonus wheels.

This is no bad thing, and there’s an ongoing system of “levelling up” for
earning certain numbers of Met Coins. Each time you level up, you’ll earn a spin
on the Golden Wheel.

The Golden Wheel offers a maximum jackpot of £2,000 and there are lots of
free spins to be won. Do keep in mind, though, that 35x wagering terms will
apply to anything you win except the jackpot.

I think this is a great system for keeping loyal players rewarded. I tip my
hat to Metal Casino for it.

The Mosh Pit

A rock-themed casino would hardly be complete without a mosh pit. Don’t
worry, though, because you won’t get crushed to death in this one. Instead,
you’ll earn double Met Coins each evening if you log in and play between
22:00-00:00 CET.

You won’t just be able to log in and do whatever you please, though. Metal
Casino sets you up with certain tasks, which it calls “tours.” You’ll earn
double Met Coins for completing these.

If you’re a night owl, this could be a great thing. It could interfere with
your sleep, though, if you experience either a big win or a big loss.

Mobile Compatibility

Mobile devices are taking over the world, and in fact, mobile players are now
the majority when it comes to online casino gaming. As of the end of 2017, 51%
of all players accessed casinos using a mobile device, sending a clear signal
that mobile is the future.

It’s not a shocker, then, that a casino which came online that very same year
is fully mobile compatible. Let’s take a closer look at how the Metal Casino for
mobile fares.

Mobile Casino

Naturally, the layout of Metal Casino will look a little different when you
visit on a mobile device. How it looks will depend on what device you’re using.

I visited on my Android mobile phone and was equally impressed with the
design as I was when visiting on my iMac with a much bigger screen. The theme
holds, with a slider at the top showing the various bonuses and promotions.

As you scroll down, you’ll see the main menu (deep red) with the tabs
“categories” and “all games” on it, as well as a search bar. Tap any of these
menu tabs once to be taken to the relevant section.

Below that, you’ll see a few dozen games (mostly popular slots) and then the
main game categories laid out in gold lettering on red thumbnails. This is all
very similar to the desktop site, except it’s optimized for mobile.

Whereas on the desktop version the main menu is on the left-hand side, on a
mobile, it’s found by tapping the icon with the three straight lines in the top
right. This will allow you to navigate to the games, offers, world tour, merch
room and other sections of the site and your account.

At all times, the stick menu for logging in or signing up remains at the top.
It’s all intuitive and easy to navigate.

Unlike many other mobile casinos, which limit the selection of games
available, Metal Casino offers the entire range of slots, but only a few of live
casino games, those being roulette, blackjack, and casino hold’em.

There’s no need to download an app as everything can be accessed directly on
the flash site from your mobile browser.

It’s difficult to fault the Metal mobile casino. It’s pretty much as good as
they get.

Customer Service

There are two ways to get in touch with the Metal Casino customer service
team.

Email – The address you’re looking for is
support@metalcasino.com. I sent an
email and got a reply within 4 hours, but from browsing around online it does
seem it can take up to 12 hours if it’s busy. This isn’t too bad, and you can
use the live chat for more pressing matters.

Live Chat – I got connected to a live chat agent called Tommi within about 5
seconds. I was playing on a Monday afternoon, so that’s probably faster than you
can expect if you play in the evenings or at weekends. He was helpful and
pointed me in the right direction to find the information I was looking for in
the terms and conditions.

I’d like to see a telephone hotline added in the future, and preferably a
freephone one at that. It’s just faster and is considerate of those with slow
typing speeds, such as older players.

Summary

Metal Casino offers plenty for the casual player. I really enjoyed my
experience playing at it, since I fit that exact player profile.

The range of games isn’t massive, but there are plenty and they’re all high
quality. The customer service is great but offering a telephone helpline would
really help take things into the 5-star league.

About the only thing I can call Metal Casino out on is the lack of withdrawal
methods. That’s an easy fix, though, and I hope it’s done soon because
everything else about this casino is top-notch.

Lastly, I really like the bonuses at this casino. There aren’t loads of them,
but the welcome bonus is generous and fair and the ongoing rewards system is
both exciting (who doesn’t love to spin a bonus wheel?) and makes sure loyal
players are taken care of.

Verdict

I definitely recommend playing at Metal Casino, as long as you’re prepared to
wait 3-5 days for your withdrawals.

This one was made for rock and rollers, and the theme is truly phenomenal. If
you like a variety of games, jumping from slots to blackjack, and perhaps across
to the live dealer tables every once in a while, you’ll likely love Metal
Casino.

Even if you’re not a metal fan, this casino is well worth checking out,
whether you ultimately decide to sign up or not.

FAQ

What does the “World Tour” mean on the main menu?

Every player, including you, will start a world tour when you register
at Metal Casino. You’ll be given various tasks to complete, such as 50 spins on
a given slot. When you complete this tour you will move onto another. Various
rewards and prizes, such as extra bonuses, are given out for completing tours.
Eventually, you make it all the way around the world.

Does Metal Casino offer no deposit spins on slots?

Not as a welcome bonus, but it’s possible to win no deposit spins by
spinning the various bonus wheels. These will be subject to 35x wagering
requirements. You can also trade in your Met Coins for no deposit spins.

Will I have to download a Metal Casino app to play on my mobile device?

Nope! All you have to do is log in via your web browser on any phone or
tablet. See the mobile section above for more detailed information on what to
expect.

Why can’t I claim the welcome bonus if I use Neteller or Skrill?

That’s a question I’ve asked many casinos, and I have never gotten a
100% straight answer. Fraud prevention is the usual answer. However, since lots
of casinos do accept deposits via Neteller and Skrill, I’d say that’s more on an
excuse than anything else. You’ll just have to use a card, then switch later to
using Neteller or Skrill.

What percentage of profits does Metal Casino donate to the worthy causes it backs?

That’s not actually published anywhere on the site. What is stated is
that some of the proceeds go to the Metal Casino Foundation, which then passes
it along to both up and coming rock bands and the Sea Shepherd Conservation
Society.

How can I be 100% sure I can trust Metal Casino?

I’d point to 3 factors which prove this casino site is safe and
trustworthy.

First, look at the gaming licenses. The UK and Malta gambling authorities
don’t give licenses out to just anyone.

Second, this site is operated by MT SecureTrade, who are behind some of the
biggest casino brands on the web.

Lastly, it runs on a secure connection, so your data is safe. See the
https:// before the website address? That means it’s secure and encrypted.
