Gunther (c) (-400) Cody Rhodes (c) (+250)
The Bloodline (-600)Roman Reigns and The Usos (+350)

Seth Rollins (+130) vs. Bronson Reed (-170)

Seth Rollins was the special guest referee for the CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre at SummerSlam. Rollins has not competed on a PLE since Money in the Bank. He will face “Big” Bronson Reed this Saturday at Crown Jewel.

BetOnline has Reed listed as the -170 favorite to defeat Rollins (+130) in the latest WWE Crown Jewel odds. Reed has struggled to break out since joining the main roster. His size alone should make him a future champion, and beating Rollins on PLE will help Reed put his main roster career back on track.

A win for Rollins could bury Reed and end their feud that has been building in recent weeks. I think Reed wins, setting up a rematch at Survivor Series: WarGames. Even if there is not a rematch, Reed needs this win to build him into a contender on the main roster.

  • Prediction: Bronson Reed -170

Randy Orton (+275) vs. Kevin Owens (-450)

Kevin Owens’ inevitable heel turn finally happened at Bad Blood. Owens attacked Cody Rhodes after the show went off the air. Before Owens can challenge Rhodes for the title again, he has to face Randy Orton at Crown Jewel.

Orton is a legend in modern WWE, but he has not won a singles match on a PLE since WrestleMania 37, nearly four years ago. Owens does not have a great track rack in his recent singles matches on PLE, either.

Their recent track records aside, it simply would not make sense for Orton to pick up the win this weekend. KO needs a win to set up his next, and potentially last, title match against Rhodes, and I think Owens gets the win this weekend.

  • Prediction: Kevin Owens -450

LA Knight (c) (-225) vs. Andrade (+185) vs. Carmelo Hayes (+800)

One of the four title matches on this card is the triple threat match for the United States Championship. LA Knight is a -225 favorite to retain his title against Andrade (+185) and Carmelo Hayes (+800) this weekend.

Andrade and Hayes have been feuding for weeks, and Knight has defeated them both in singles matches. Knight interfered in Andrade and Hayes’s “Game Seven,” setting the stage for this match. This should be a good match, but Knight is leaving Saudi Arabia with the title.

It took Knight longer than many fans expected to secure his first title on the main roster. Knight won the title at Money in the Bank in July. His reign has not been the most thrilling run ever, but it will not end this weekend.

  • Prediction: LA Knight -225

Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair (c) (-1500) vs. Damage CTRL (+850) vs. Meta-Four (+900) vs. Chelsea Green and Piper Niven (+510)

Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair will also be at a numbers disadvantage this weekend when they put their WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions on the line. The champions will defend their titles in a fatal four-way tag match on Saturday.

Three teams are challenging for the belts: Kairi Sane and Iyo Sky (Damage CTRL), Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson (Meta-Four), and Chelsea Green and Piper Niven.

The champions are -1500 favorites in BetOnline’s Crown Jewel 2024 betting odds. So, it is safe to say that Cargill and Belair will retain this weekend. On the other hand, they have lost their championships as heavy favorites before.

Belair and Cargill were -2000 favorites ahead of their loss at Clash of the Castle Scotland. Those were special circumstances, though, and The Unholy Union only won to please the crowd. That is not the case this weekend, and the champions will retain.

  • Prediction: Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair -1500

Liv Morgan (c) (+150) vs. Nia Jax (c) (-200)

Two new champions will be crowned at this year’s Crown Jewel PLE. The first is the inaugural WWE Women’s Crown Jewel Champion. Liv Morgan and Nia Jax, the Women’s World Champion and WWE Women’s Champion, respectively, will square off for the new title in this match.

Jax is the -200 favorite, while Morgan is listed as the +150 underdog in the Crown Jewel betting odds 2024. Both women are heels, so this match will come down to which champion the WWE wants to put over the most.

Morgan is the underdog and is at a significant size disadvantage in this match. Despite that, Morgan is the better bet in this matchup because she could have the help of Raquel Rodriguez. Jax may have Tiffany Stratton at her side, but Stratton is also a threat to cash in her Money in the Bank contract on the loser of this match.

  • Prediction: Liv Morgan +150

Gunther (c) (-400) vs. Cody Rhodes (c) (+250)

The first-ever men’s WWE Crown Jewel Champion will also be crowned this weekend. RAW’s World Heavyweight Champion Gunther (-400) will face SmackDown’s Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes (+250) for the new belt.

Since returning to the WWE, Rhodes has been the underdog. Losing to Gunther puts Rhodes back in that role, making it easier to build up his PLE title defenses between now and WrestleMania 41.

Also, a win would benefit Rhodes less than it would Gunther. The WWE has done its best to build Gunther into an unstoppable champion. Beating Rhodes on a PLE would help elevate Gunther even more.

  • Prediction: Gunther -400

Roman Reigns and The Usos (+350) vs. The Bloodline (-600)

Rounding out the match card for WWE Crown Jewel 2024 is the six-man tag match between the new Bloodline and the original Bloodline. Roman Reigns will team with The Usos, Jimmy and Jey, to take on Solo Sikoa, The Tongans, and Jacob Fatu.

Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu will not all be official entrants in this match, but the odd man out will still be ringside.  The 4-3 advantage will be huge in this tag match and is a big reason why the Bloodline (-600) are heavy favorites.

Reigns and The Usos also need to lose to keep this storyline going. If they beat the New Bloodline this weekend, it will be more challenging to build up their inevitable WarGames match at this year’s Survivor Series.

Everything involving the Bloodline has relied on long-term planning and storytelling. If this were a one-off, then Reigns and The Usos would win. This match is just one in a series of matches in this storyline, so Sikoa and company will take home the win.

  • Prediction: The Bloodline -600
