BetOnline Sportsbook provided the betting odds for my Beterbiev vs. Bivol predictions.

Breakdown of Beterbiev vs. Bivol Odds

  • Dmitry Bivol (-135)
  • Artur Beterbiev (+115)
  • Over 10.5 rounds (-180)
  • Under 10.5 rounds (+150)

The two best Light Heavyweights in modern boxing will square off this weekend for the title of the Undisputed champion. Artur Beterbiev (20-0) and Dmitry Bivol (23-0) are undefeated and will put multiple titles on the line Saturday.

Beterbiev is the current  WBC, IBF, and WBO Light Heavyweight champion. Bivol, on the other hand, is the reigning WBA (Super) and IBO Light Heavyweight title holder.

These unbeaten champions were supposed to face off in June, but Beterbiev was forced out of the fight after rupturing his meniscus in training. Bivol instead faced Malik Zinad, beating him in round six and retaining his championships. BetOnline has Bivol (-135) as the slight favorite heading into this unification fight.

Dmitry Bivol (-135)

Bivol (-135) is a slight betting favorite to become the undisputed Light Heavyweight champion in his fight against Beterbiev this Saturday. He is slightly taller, but Bivol will have a one-inch reach disadvantage against Beterbiev.

Despite having a shorter reach, it is easy to see why oddsmakers and bettors favor Bivol. He is widely viewed as the more technical boxer, which should allow him to overcome his reach disadvantage. Bivol is also the healthier of the two, as Beterbiev is recovering from the knee injury he suffered this summer that delayed this fight the first time.

Bivol looked great against Zinad in June, who replaced the injured Beterbiev. The sixth-round TKO win was Bivol’s first TKO win since March 2018. Bivol’s previous nine wins were all by unanimous decision.

One of the biggest keys to Bivol’s success since becoming the WBA Light Heavyweight champion has been his ability to maintain distance. This weekend, avoiding a slugfest will be even more critical against a knockout artist like Beterbiev. Bivol still has knockout power, but his best chance to win this fight is to outpoint Beterbiev and win a decision.

Artur Beterbiev (+115)

The other half of this historic Light Heavyweight boxing match is Artur Beterbiev (20-0). At 39 years old, Beterbiev is closer to the end of his career than the beginning. However, despite his age, Beterbiev still has plenty of knockout power.

Beterbiev has been one of the best power punchers in the weight class for his entire career. The WBC, IBF, and WBO Light Heavyweight champion had fought 20 times in his professional career. Beterbiev has knocked out all 20 of the opponents he has stepped into the ring with.

Only one opponent, Enrico Kolling, was able to push Beterbiev into the 12th and final round. None of his last four opponents have made it past the ninth round.

Beterbiev will have a slight reach advantage on Saturday, but more than that may be needed to overcome Bivol. There is enough power in Beterbiev’s shots that he does not need a clean hit to damage his opponents. If Beterbiev can land the right punch, he could easily add Bivol to his list of knocked-out opponents.

Over/Under 10.5 Rounds

One of the prop wagers available for this must-see title fight is a total rounds wager. BetOnline has the total rounds for this fight set at over/under 10.5 rounds. Bivol wants a long battle, but Beterbiev needs to finish this fight as quickly as possible to become the undisputed champion.

Bivol and Beterbiev could not have more different fighting styles. Only one fight in Beterbiev’s career has lasted longer than 10 full rounds. Bivol, on the other hand, has gone to at least the 12th round in 10 of his last 11 fights.

Beterbiev vs. Bivol Fight Predictions

The two best Light Heavyweight boxes in the world will compete for the right to call themselves the undisputed best in the weight class. Bivol (-135) is the slight favorite over Beterbiev (+115). However, I think the Beterbiev is the better bet this weekend.

One of the best parts of this fight is that both fighters can rely on the skills that have led them to undefeated title reigns. Bivol is one of the best at keeping the distance, and he will need to out-box Beterbiev to secure the win. Beterbiev, on the other hand, has 12 rounds to hunt for the knockout.

At the end of the day, I think Beterbiev is simply too powerful for anyone, even Bivol, to survive 36 minutes with. I believe Beterbiev will land the right shot to stop Bivol, keeping his undefeated record and knockout streak alive as he becomes the new Undisputed Light Heavyweight champion.

  • Prediction: Artur Beterbiev +115

Beterbiev vs. Bivol Undercard Fights and Odds

Bivol vs. Beterbiev is the main event, but the undercard on this PPV has plenty of other exciting bouts. Here are the latest Beterbiev vs. Bivol undercard odds and my predictions.

Chris Eubank Jr. (33-3) vs. Kamil Szeremeta (25-2-2)

  • Chris Eubank Jr. (-3300)
  • Kamil Szeremeta (+1200)

The co-main event of the Beterbiev vs. Bivol PPV is a battle between Chris Eubank Jr. (33-3) and Kamil Szeremeta (25-2-2). Eubank Jr. is 7-1 in his last eight fights and is a massive -3300 ahead of this fight. Szeremeta is 4-0-2 in his previous six fights and should put up a good fight, but I think Eubank Jr. will win this contest.

  • Prediction: Chris Eubank Jr. -3300

Fabio Wardley (17-0-1) vs. Frazer Clarke (8-0-1)

  • Fabio Wardley (-140)
  • Frazer Clarke (+110)

Fabio Wardley (17-0-1) and Frazer Clarke (8-0-1) are also scheduled to square off with the British Heavyweight Title on the line. These talented heavyweights fought to a draw in March. I think Wardley will get the better of Clarke this time around, retaining his championship.

  • Prediction: Fabio Wardley -140

Jai Opetaia (25-0) vs. Jack Massey (22-2)

  • Jai Opetaia (-3300)
  • Jack Massey (+1200)

Another title fight on this car pits Jai Opetaia (25-0) vs. Jack Massey (22-2) for the IBF Cruiserweight Title. Opetaia is the undefeated champion and has secured 19 of his 25 career wins by knockout.

Massey, on the other hand, has lost just one fight in his career at Cruiserweight. His other career loss came at Heavyweight. I think Opetaia (-3300) will simply be too much for Massey this weekend, retaining his title in an exciting fight.

  • Prediction: Jai Opetaia -3300

Ben Whittaker (6-0) vs. Liam Cameron (23-6)

  • Ben Whittaker (-2500)
  • Liam Cameron (+1100)

Ben Whittaker (6-0) can take a huge step forward this weekend as he faces Liam Cameron (23-6). Whittaker is at a significant experience disadvantage, but he is still the -2500 betting favorite.

Cameron lost his last fight, his first loss since returning from his four-year drug suspension. There is no doubt that Cameron has plenty of motivation for this fight as he attempts to make up for missed time. However, Whittaker is bigger and stronger, and I think he will knock out Cameron in this fight.

  • Prediction: Ben Whittaker -2500

Skye Nicolson (11-0) vs. Raven Chapman (9-0)

  • Skye Nicolson (-700)
  • Raven Chapman (+450)

The WBC World Female Featherweight Title will also be on the line this Saturday. Skye Nicolson is a -700 favorite as she attempts to defend her belt against the WBC International Female Featherweight champion, Raven Chapman (+450).

Chapman is the underdog, but I think she can win this fight. Neither fighter is known for their knockout power, and I believe Chapman will do a better job of scoring points throughout the fight. She is also the bigger of the two fighters, which should help her control the ring in this title fight.

  • Prediction: Raven Chapman +450
