This is the first Bad Blood in WWE since 2004, and the match card is loaded with superstars looking for revenge.

Five of the six matches above are confirmed, with Bayley earning her title shot against Nia Jax on the September 27th episode of SmackDown. Gunther is also expected to accept Sami Zayn’s challenge for his World Heavyweight title.

Expert Predictions for WWE Bad Blood 2024

Here are my Bad Blood 2024 WWE betting predictions for the above odds.

Liv Morgan (c) (-800) vs. Rhea Ripley (+425)

The latest chapter in the Liv Morgan vs. Rhea Ripley rivalry will be written this weekend. To add to the drama, Dominik Mysterio, Ripley’s former kayfabe boy toy and Mogan’s current onscreen beau, will be suspended above the ring in a shark cage.

Mysterio cannot interfere, but the other members of The Judgement Day are free to do so. Morgan is the -800 favorite to retain her championship, and with the help of the JD, I think she will walk out of Atlanta with another win over Ripley.

  • Prediction: Liv Morgan (c) -800

Damian Priest (-700) vs. Finn Balor (+400)

Another Judgement Day-related feud that could be settled this weekend is the match between Damian Priest (-700) and Finn Balor (+400). Balor cost Priest his World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam.

Priest is a heavy favorite, but, like Ripley, the former champion will undoubtedly have to overcome interference from the other members of The Judgement Day. Newly crowned Intercontinental Champion Jey Uso has been a big help for Priest in his battle against the JD, and I think Uso will help Priest secure a big win this weekend.

  • Prediction: Damian Priest -700

CM Punk (-1500) vs. Drew McIntyre (+600)

The first Bad Blood event was hosted in 1997. It introduced WWE fans to the Hell in a Cell match and marked Kane’s debut. On the 27th anniversary, another Hell in a Cell match will be held.

Instead of the Undertaker facing Shawn Michaels, CM Punk will face Drew McIntyre. Punk and McIntyre similarly used themes from the Michaels-Undertaker feud in their match at SummerSlam. I doubt we will see the debut of a star like Kane this time around, but it should be a good match, nonetheless.

Punk is the -1500 favorite heading into this rubber match. I think he will defeat McIntyre on Saturday, allowing Punk to start a new feud with another superstar, potentially Seth Rollins.

  • Prediction: CM Punk -1500

Nia Jax (c) vs. Bayley

Nia Jax defeated at SummerSlam to win the WWE Women’s Championship. Jax has defended her title once since then, a street fight against Michin on SmackDown, but this will be her first PLE defense.

This match was just confirmed, so there are no odds available for it yet. However, I expect Jax to be a heavy favorite to beat Bayley. If Jax does lose her title at Bad Blood, it will be because of a successful Money in the Bank cash-in by Tiffany Stratton.

  • Prediction: Nia Jax (c) N/A

Gunther (c) (-10000) vs. Sami Zayn (+2000)

BetOnline has odds on a potential match between World Heavyweight Champion Gunther (-10000) and Sami Zayn (+2000). Gunther has yet to accept Zayn’s challenge, but he will likely do so on the go-home Raw before Bad Blood.

Zayn beat Gunther for the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 40, ending Gunther’s 666-day record-setting reign. However, I doubt Zayn will beat Gunther twice in a calendar year, and I expect the Ring General to retain his title on Saturday.

  • Prediction: Gunther (c) -10000

Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns (-1000) vs. The Bloodline (+550)

Finally, there is the tag team match pitting Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns vs. the Bloodline. Rhodes and Reigns are -1000 favorites to beat Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu on Saturday. The Tongans are also likely to be present for The Bloodline, but Rhodes and Reigns could have help from Kevin Owens and Randy Orton.

This is Reigns’ first PLE match since returning at SummerSlam. In the name of long-term booking, I can see The Bloodline winning this match. However, I will stick with the favorites, Rhodes and Reigns, as my official prediction.

  • Prediction: Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns -1000

Dark Horses and Potential Surprises

It can be challenging to pick upsets when betting on the WWE, but surprises do happen. Here are three upsets I can see happening at WWE Bad Blood 2024.

Finn Balor Defeats Damian Priest (+400)

Priest is a heavy favorite to be Balor on Saturday. However, like Ripley in her match against Morgan, Priest must overcome interference from The Judgement Day to win. Priest could have the help of Jey Uso, but that may not be enough.

Even with the help of Jey Uso, Priest will be outnumbered. Balor could have JD McDonagh, Carlito, and Dominik Mysterio to help him this weekend. If Priest cannot overcome the numbers game, Balor could easily steal the win on Saturday.

Bayley Defeats Nia Jax

Another underdog I can see winning on Saturday is Bayley, who is challenging Nia Jax for the WWE Women’s Championship. The WWE has teased a cash-in from the reigning Ms. Money in the Bank, Tiffany Stratton. Stratton has an uneasy alliance with Jax, though, and has not cashed in on her yet.

Last year, Bianca Belair won the WWE Women’s Championship in a triple threat at SummerSlam, only for Iyo Sky to cash in and beat the newly crowned champion. I can see a similar situation this weekend if Bayley wins, with Stratton cashing in and leaving Georgia with the belt.

The Bloodline Defeat Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns (+550)

Rhodes and Reigns are -1000 favorites to beat Sikoa and Fatu at WWE Bad Blood. However, they will need Ownes and Orton to help them overcome interference from The Tongans. Owens has teased a heel turn for weeks.

If Owens finally turns heel on Saturday, it could cost Rhodes and Reigns the match. Reigns and Rhodes losing would also build up the new Bloodline as a true force to be reckoned with and help stretch out the storyline until the next PLE.

Betting Tips and Strategies for WWE Bad Blood

Millions of people across the globe will tune into WWE Bad Blood 2024. You can make the event even more exciting by wagering on the event using these betting tips.

Follow the Storylines

As with any type of sports betting, you should watch WWE’s weekly programming if you plan to bet on its PLEs. Following storylines is easier said than done with an event like WWE Bad Blood, though, where both RAW and SmackDown superstars will compete. Luckily, you can find weekly recaps of every show on the WWE’s YouTube channel.

Bet on the Heavy Favorites

Betting on underdogs can be thrilling when you win. Picking underdogs is challenging, and it is nearly impossible to do when betting on the WWE. Most people avoid heavy favorites because they offer poor value, but the heavy favorite almost always wins in WWE markets.

Use Sports Betting Bonuses

Heavy favorites offer little betting value, but you can still win money by increasing your stakes. That is one reason why using sports betting bonuses is especially important for wrestling fans. You can use these bonuses to grow your bankroll significantly, allowing you to bet more on your favorite WWE superstars.
