On one hand, presidential debates tend to follow a strict structure. However, Trump has built his entire political career with no regard for the establishment. It is not hard to imagine the former President ignoring time limits for responses and rebuttals, resulting in the debate going over time.

We do not know exactly which topics will be debated on June 27th, but it is likely that hot-button issues will be on the agenda. Issues such as the economy, foreign policy, and others are common topics in political debates. Trump’s recent legal issues will also almost certainly be discussed.

If he goes off-topic and delays the proceedings, it is likely that topics have to be left out due to time constraints.

With the winner being determined by polling, I doubt the events of the actual debate will matter. Polls are subjective and, depending on the population polled, can be very easily manipulated. CNN could take the poll before the debate, and it would probably look similar to the poll after the debate.
Biden has made up some ground in polls lately, but he still has a long way to go. I think Trump will be declared the winner because he has had better success in polls so far this election cycle.
