Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson Odds
November 13 Update
BetUS has continuously updated its Tyson vs. Paul odds in the months leading up to the fight. Here are the current odds for this once-in-a-lifetime matchup just days before Tyson and Paul faceoff.
Fighter | Tyson vs. Paul Odds | Previous Odds |
Mike Tyson | +210 | +225 |
Jake Paul | -260 | -300 |
Mike Tyson (+210)
The legendary Mike Tyson is a +225 underdog for his upcoming fight against Jake Paul. Tyson has had some exhibition fights recently, but this will be his first sanctioned fight in nearly two decades. He is also more than 30 years older than Paul, and Tyson’s health issues delayed this fight once already.
Despite all of that, Tyson’s odds have shortened as the fight draws closer. At the end of October, Tyson was listed at +225 odds and is now available at +210 odds.
In his prime, Tyson would have finished Paul inside of the first round. But he is approaching 60 years old and will be at a massive reach disadvantage. Tyson still has knockout power, and his only chance to win will be to land a lucky shot that drops Paul.
Jake Paul (-260)
Speaking of Paul, his odds to win have faded slightly from -300 to -260 over the last two weeks. Despite the slight change in odds, Paul is still the heavy favorite in this fight, and rightfully so.
Paul is three inches taller than Tyson and has a five-inch reach advantage. Also, despite the flaws in his personality, Paul’s boxing skills have improved, and he boasts real knock-out power. If Paul can survive the early swarm from Tyson, he should be able to coast to a win.
The only real question ahead of this fight is whether Paul wins by decision or goes for the knockout. This is a sanctioned fight, and adding a knockout of Tyson to his resume will be too good an opportunity for Paul to pass up.
Paul vs. Tyson Props
BetUS also offers exciting props for Tyson vs. Paul. Here are a few of my favorite prop bets for this boxing event.
Will Paul or Tyson Bite the Other?
- Tyson bites Paul (+1000)
- Paul bites Tyson (+2000)
Mike Tyson infamously bit Evander Holyfield in their second fight, resulting in a disqualification. BetUS has Tyson listed at +1000 to recreate the incident by biting Paul in this fight. Paul is listed at +2000 to bite Tyson. The odds for Tyson and Paul to bite the other have faded from +800 and +1600, respectively, in the weeks leading up to the fight.
It is hard enough to believe that this fight is happening, and I do not think Tyson will lose a second fight in his career for biting. Likewise, I do not believe Paul will try to bite Tyson because he does not want to be disqualified.
Method of Victory
You can also bet on the method of victory for Paul vs. Tyson at BetUS. The odds for a Tyson victory have improved in this prop wager.
Tyson vs. Paul Outcome | Odds | Previous Odds |
Jake Paul wins via KO or DQ | +155 | +100 |
Mike Tyson wins via KO or DQ | +220 | +350 |
Jake Paul wins via decision | +270 | +275 |
Draw | +900 | +750 |
Mike Tyson wins via decision | +1100 | +1400 |
The most likely outcome is for Paul to win via KO or DQ, but the odds have faded from +100 to +155. Likewise, Tyson’s odds of winning via KO or DQ have shortened from +350 to +220.
As I mentioned above, the best and only realistic way for Tyson to win is via a knockout early. However, I do not think the 58-year-old will come out on top in this fight. Paul will win via knockout or disqualification on Friday.
Tyson vs. Paul Knockdown Props
BetUS also has props for the number of knockdowns in Tyson vs. Paul. Some of the options for this market include:
- Paul to be knocked down and win (+450)
- Tyson to be knocked down and win (+1000)
- Paul has 1+ knockdowns (-125)
- Tyson has 1+ knockdowns (+110)
- 1+ total knockdowns (-350)
- 2+ total knockdowns (-125)
My favorite bet in this category is for there to be 2+ knockdowns (-125) in the fight. Paul or Tyson could score two knockdowns, or they could each get one, and you would win this bet.
May 23 Update
We are less than two months away from the once-in-a-lifetime showdown between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson. As more information has been revealed about the fight, the Paul vs. Tyson odds have started to shift.
Check out the table below for the latest odds for Paul vs. Tyson, courtesy of BetUS.
Fighter | Betting Odds | Previous Odds |
Jake Paul | -230 | -200 |
Mike Tyson | +190 | +275 |
Paul is still the favorite at -230, but Tyson’s odds have also shortened. The 57-year-old boxing legend was listed at +275, but his odds have shortened to +190. Tyson has been training hard and has the experience advantage, but Paul has plenty of knockout power and is significantly younger.
Katie Taylor vs. Amanda Serrano Odds
A lot of the most exciting updates for the Tyson vs. Paul event have been for the undercard. Several exciting fights have been announced, including a showdown between two of the best female boxers alive today. Katie Taylor (23-1) will take on Amanda Serrano (46-2-1) in a rematch of their fight from April 2022.
Here are the latest odds for Taylor vs. Serrano 2
- Katie Taylor (-150)
- Amanda Serrano (+120)
- Over 8.5 rounds (-800)
- Under 8.5 rounds (+500)
Taylor is listed as a -150 favorite for this rematch. The first fight went the full 10 rounds, and Taylor won via split decision. BetUS has this fight heavily favored to go over 8.5 rounds.
After beating Serrano, Taylor went on to beat Karen Carabajal before losing to Chantelle Cameron. Taylor won the rematch against Cameron last November and could cement her legacy with another win over Serrano.
Serrano, on the other hand, has won all four of her fights since her first match against Taylor. She has defeated Sarah Mahfoud, Erika Cruz, Heather Hardy, and Danila Ramos, all by unanimous decision.
Taylor won the first fight on two of the three judges’ scorecards. I believe she will win the rematch, but the match is likely to go the distance again.
Prediction: Katie Taylor defeats Amanda Serrano by decision
Other Tyson vs. Paull Undercard Bouts
Three other fights have been confirmed for this Paul vs. Tyson undercard, including:
- Ashton Sylve (11-0) vs. Floyd Schofield (17-0)
- Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. (53-6-1) vs. Darren Till (0-0)
- Neeraj Goyat (18-4-2) vs. Whindersson Nunes (2-2-1)
Ashton “H2O” Sylve and Floyd “Kid Austin” Schofield will both bring undefeated records into their fight. Boxing legend Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. will also compete, taking on former UFC fighter Darren Till in the latter’s professional boxing debut. Neeraj Goyat and Whindersson Nunes will also fight at this event.
Ashton Sylve vs. Floyd Schofield
Two of the best young boxing prospects will put it all on the line during the Paul vs. Tyson undercard. Ashton Sylve (11-0) and Floyd Schofield (17-0) are just 20 and 21 years old, respectively. Sylve has nine KO wins in his career, and Schofield has 12.
Here are the latest odds for Sylve vs. Schofield:
- Ashton “H2O” Sylva (+165)
- Floyd “Kid Austin” Schofield (-200)
Schofield is more experienced, but Sylve is the slightly bigger of the two. Sylve also has a better knockout rate. Despite the odds, I think Sylve will be the one to get his hand raised after this fight.
Prediction: Ashton Sylva will defeat Floyd Schofield (+200)
Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. vs. Darren Till
Boxing legend Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. (53-6-1) will return to boxing after over two years away. He will face former UFC fighter Darren Till. Till earned an 18-5-1 record in MMA, but this will be his first professional boxing fight.
Fighting a legend like JC Jr. in your debut is a tall task. Till did earn 10 KO wins in MMA, but boxing, but he will only be able to box in this fight. The fight itself is scheduled for just six three-minute rounds.
Neeraj Goyat vs. Whindersson Nunes
The fifth fight currently announced for Tyson vs. Paul undercard is a six-round fight between Neeraj Goyat (20-4-2) and Whindersson Nunes (0-0). Nunes has had exhibition fights, but this will serve as his professional boxing debut. He is the bigger fighter, but seemingly every other statistic favors Goyat.
Goyat has plenty of experience and has lost just once in his last 11 fights. The loss came via decision, while seven of his wins during that stretch came via knockout. It would be nothing short of shocking if Goyat did not get the victory in this fight.
April 15 Update
Jake Paul will step into the squared circle again this summer. Sites like BetOnline make it easy to wager on Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson odds. The younger Paul, 27, is listed as the -200 favorite over the 57-year-old Tyson (+160).

— BetOnline (@BetOnline_ag) March 7, 2024
Paul opened at -300, but his odds have already started to shorten. So, if you plan on betting on Paul, I would do it soon before his odds shorten even more. Likewise, Mike Tyson’s odds opened at +240 and have faded slightly to +275.
Jake Paul Boxing Record
Jake Paul had just one amateur fight before turning pro. The younger Paul brother has a 9-1 career record, with six of his wins coming via knockout.
6-0 Start to Professional Career
Paul has done his best to make the jump from being a YouTube star to being a respected boxer. His choice of opponents has not helped him build a ton of credibility, but it has helped Paul make a lot of money.
In his professional debut, Paul fought fellow Youtuber-turned-boxer AnEsonGib. Paul won via TKO in the first round. He went on to fight former NBA player Nate Robinson and earned another KO win.
Paul started boxing retired MMA fighters, including Ben Askren, Tyron Woodley twice, and Anderson Silva. He won all four of those fights, improving his career record to 6-0.
Despite the questionable level of competition, Paul’s knockout power was undeniable. Only two opponents, Silva and Woodley, were able to take Paul the distance. Paul knocked out Woodley in their rematch.
Paul’s Loss to Tommy Fury
Jake Paul faced the toughest competition of his professional career in February 2023. He stepped into the ring with Tommy Fury, the younger brother of WBC Heavyweight Champion Tyson Fury.
“We will meet again!”

— BBC Sport (@BBCSport) March 6, 2024
Tommy Fury is a professional boxer in his own right and entered his fight with Jake Paul with an 8-0 record. Fury and Paul went the distance, with Fury picking up the split decision victory.
Paul scored a knockdown in the fight, but Fury landed a higher percentage of his strikes. Two of the three judges scored the fight 76-73 in favor of Fury. The remaining judge had Paul winning, resulting in a split decision win for Fury.
Jake Paul’s Recent Fights
Paul has fought three times since his loss to Fury, winning every fight. Since last August, Paul has faced and defeated:
- Nate Diaz – Unanimous decision after 10 rounds
- Andre August – 1st round KO
- Ryan Bourland – 1st round TKO
His back-to-back first-round knockout wins helped remind people of Paul’s punching power. Prior to his fight with Andre August, Paul had gone to decision in four of his five previous fights.
Mike Tyson Boxing Record
In his prime, Mike Tyson was one of the scariest boxers on the planet. He made his pro debut in 1985 and earned a 50-6, 2 NC record in 58 career fights.
Tyson’s Early Years in Boxing
Tyson earned a name for himself as an amateur in the early 1980s. He won gold medals at the National Junior Olympics in 1981 and 1982 and was also a Golden Gloves champion at heavyweight in 1984.
After a successful amateur career, Tyson turned pro in 1986. In his first pro fight, Tyson knocked out Hector Mercedes in the first round. Tyson went on to fight 15 times in his first year as a professional.
A 15-0 winning streak at heavyweight helped build the hype around Tyson. After just a year in the pros, Tyson made his television debut in 1986.
Rise to World Heavyweight Championship
After amassing a 27-0 record, Tyson earned his first title shot in late 1986 against then-WBC Heavyweight champion Trevor Berbick. Tyson beat Berbick by second-round TKO, becoming the youngest Heavyweight champion in history.

— ESPN (@espn) February 11, 2022
His winning streak continued, and Tyson added the WBA and IBF heavyweight titles to his resume. In 1988, Tyson won his 35th straight fight to claim The Ring heavyweight title. Tyson would not hold onto the belt for long, though, losing to Buster Douglas in February 1990.
The loss to Douglas was one of the most shocking upsets in boxing history. Mike Tyson’s odds heading into the fight were roughly -4200, with Douglas listed at +3700. Tyson fought four more times in pursuit of a rematch, but his quest to regain his title was derailed in 1991.
Post-Prison Years
Tyson was arrested in 1991 and went to prison in April 1992. He was originally sentenced to six years, but Tyson was released on parole in March 1995.
His early release allowed Tyson to return to the ring much sooner than expected. Tyson’s first fight after his release was in August 1995. In his third and fourth fights after his return, Tyson reclaimed the WBC and WBA heavyweight titles, respectively.
Tyson lost back-to-back fights to Evander Holyfield, with the second loss being by DQ for biting Holyfield’s ear. The consecutive losses to Holyfield dropped Tyson’s career record to 45-3. He would fight 10 more times, going 7-3, 2 NC in his final 10 fights.
After losing three of his last four fights, Tyson retired from boxing in 2005. He had an exhibition bout against Corey Sanders in 2006, but the bout was unscored.
Tyson Comes Out of Retirement
After over a decade of inactivity, Tyson announced his return to action. He fought fellow boxing legend Roy Jones Jr. in an exhibition match in November 2020. The two legends squared off for eight rounds, resulting in a split decision draw.
Tyson will return to the ring again this July to fight Jake Paul at Heavyweight. Paul will have a slight advantage over Tyson in terms of size and a significant youth advantage.
Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson Pick
The latest Tyson-Paul odds have Jake Paul listed as a heavy favorite. If you can look past his abrasive personality, Paul does have impressive boxing skills for his experience level. The fact that he is in his prime should also give him a leg up against the 57-year-old Tyson.
If Tyson was 20 years younger, then this fight would not even be close. However, if Tyson was closer to his prime, then Paul would not be trying to fight him.
Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson tale of the tape… Who you got? 😤 pic.twitter.com/x35Bd0j3WY
— Happy Punch (@HappyPunch) March 7, 2024
I believe Paul will win, but the fight could be closer than people expect. Tyson still has knockout power, even at his advanced age. If Tyson can catch Paul, he could easily drop The Problem Child in this fight.
Paul has plenty of power, too, which will be Tyson’s biggest obstacle in this fight. Tyson will not be able to evade Paul as easily as he could have three decades ago.
If and when Paul hits Tyson, he should be able to drop and ultimately stop the former heavyweight champion. I would wager on Jake Paul’s odds in this fight.
