Super Bowl Novelty Props: Will A Player Get Caught Gambling in Las Vegas?
Betting on Super Bowl 58 novelty props can help take your Big Game celebrations to the next level. The NFL is just days away from crowning its champion of the 2023-2024 season. Novelty betting markets let you wager on unique aspects of Super Sunday that are not available during the regular season.
You can bet on the Super Bowl in a variety of ways, but novelty bets are arguably the most fun way to do it. These bets cover every part of the Big Game, from the pregame build-up to the post-game celebrations.
Continue reading to see which Super Bowl novelty prop bets you should make for this weekend’s championship game. I will tell you the best betting markets and give you my predictions.
The Best Super Bowl Novelty Bets
Novelty prop wagers expand your betting options beyond normal markets. Here are my favorite Super Bowl 58 novelty bets, with odds courtesy of BetUS Sportsbook.
Which TD Celebration Will Be Done First?
- Gronk Spike (+300)
- The Squabble (+500)
- Home Run (+600)
- Lambeau Leap (+800)
- Griddy (+800)
- Bow and Arrow (+900)
Touchdown celebrations are a common part of the game today. Some players have their own unique celebrations, while others stick to tried and true classics. This wager from BetUS lets you wager on which TD celebration we will see first in Super Bowl 58.

The betting favorite is the Gronk Spike at +300. Many players spiked the ball before future Hall of Fame TE Rob Gronkowski, but few did it with as much passion as Gronk. Other leading favorites include The Squabble (+500) and the Home Run Hit (+600).
For this wager, I suggest picking the player that you think will score first and then betting on their celebration. 49ers’ RB Christian McCaffrey, for example, usually spikes it, while team WR Deebo Samuel has often gone with The Squabble with scoring this season.
The tight ends in this game also like to spike it. between McCaffrey, George Kittle, and Travis Kelce, I think there is a good chance we see the Gronk Spike first.
Gronk Spike (+300)
Will Any Current NFL Player Be Arrested in Las Vegas on Super Bowl Sunday?
- Yes (+300)
The Chiefs and 49ers will play Super Bowl 58 in Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. As fun as Vegas can be, it could also be potentially troublesome for the players themselves. Football betting sites have the odds of an NFL player being arrested in Las Vegas on Super Bowl Sunday listed at +300.
The Raiders’ players have had their fair share of legal issues since the team relocated to Sin City. Players from other teams, such as Saints’ RB Alvin Kamara, have also had issues with the law when playing in Las Vegas.
There is not a “no” option in this bet, but the wager also does not specify which team the player has to be on. At +300, I think this bet could be worth at least a small wager.
A current player will be arrested in Las Vegas on Super Bowl Sunday (+300)
Which Team’s Apparel Will Drake Wear on Super Bowl Sunday?
- Kansas City Chiefs (-175)
- San Francisco 49ers (+130)
Canadian music artist Drake has not been shy about his sports fandom over the years. However, Drake’s support often leads to misfortune for the team he is rooting for. BetUS is offering you the chance to wager on which team will be in jeopardy of falling victim to the Drake Curse in Super Bowl 58.

The Chiefs (-175) are the favorite in this wager, with the 49ers (+130) being a slight underdog. I think that Drake will take Kansas City, which is a two-point underdog, to win Sunday. Also, I believe that Mahomes will defy the curse this weekend.
Drake bet on the Chiefs last year, and they won despite the curse. Also, Mahomes has broken other curses, such as the Madden curse, on Super Bowl Sunday. He also became the first QB in over two decades to win the MVP and the Super Bowl in the same year last season.
Drake will wear Chiefs apparel (-175)
What Will Happen to the Price of Bitcoin During Super Bowl 58?
- Price will go up (-135)
- Price will go down (-105)
BetUS also has Super Bowl novelty props of things that are not directly connected to the game itself. For instance, you can wager on what will happen to the price of different cryptocurrencies, such as Bitcoin, during the Big Game.
Sports betting sites have Bitcoin favored to increase in price (-135) during Super Bowl 58. Two years ago, crypto ads during the Super Bowl preceded a significant price drop. Over the last year, though, the price of Bitcoin has mostly rebounded.
I think that Bitcoin’s momentum will continue and that the price will rise during Super Bowl 58. The odds of the price going down (-105) simply do not offer enough betting value for me to go against the favorite in this wager.
The price of Bitcoin will go up (-135)
Where Will Any Reid Eat After Super Bowl 58?
- Burger King (+400)
- In-N-Out (+400)
- McDonalds (+500)
- Wendy’s (+600)
- Five Guys (+600)
- Smashburger (+1000)
One of the faces of the Chiefs for the better part of the last decade has been head coach Andy Reid. The legendary coach has helped build Kansas City into one of the best teams in the league year after year. Reid has also become famous for his post-game eating habits.

BetUS has a Super Bowl novelty prop bet for where Coach Reid will eat after Super Bowl 58. Reid is known for his love of cheeseburgers after games, so the betting options are all well-known for their burgers. Burger King and In-N-Out are tied for the best odds at +400.
There are six restaurants, including Smashburger and Shake Shack, tied at +1000. The traffic surrounding the stadium, though, will likely make it challenging to travel to restaurants that are not close to Allegiant Stadium.
In-N-Out has a ton of locations in Vegas, though, including several spots near Allegiant Stadium. I think the convenience of the burger chain makes it the best choice in this novelty wager for Super Bowl 58.
In-N-Out Burger (+400)
49ers or Chiefs Player to Be Caught With an Escort in Las Vegas
- Jake Moody (+300)
- Nick Bosa (+400)
- Harrison Butker (+500)
- Deebo Samuel (+600)
- George Kittle (+800)
Another interesting novelty wager for Super Bowl Sunday is this bet about a player being caught with an escort in Las Vegas. Unlike some of the bets on this list, only players from the Chiefs and the 49ers would count toward this wager.
49ers kicker Jake Moody is the favorite in this prop bet at +300. The rookie kicker has had a less-than-ideal showing so far in the playoffs. Moody has missed at least one field goal in three straight games, including one miss in both playoff games so far.
Other top betting options in this prop include Nike Bosa (+400), Harrison Butker (+500), and Deebo Samuel (+600). I think the 49ers will lose by a field goal, and I would not be surprised if Moody misses a field goal in this game. I would stick with the rookie kicker in this wager because he may need extra comfort after potentially costing his team the game.
Jake Moody (+300)
Will Any NFL Player Be Caught Gambling in Las Vegas on Super Bowl Sunday?
- Yes (+1000)
Rounding out my list of the best Super Bowl novelty prop bets is this wager about NFL players gambling. Many players have found themselves on the wrong side of the NFL’s gambling policy in recent years. With the Super Bowl being held in Las Vegas this year, the league will likely be on high alert for players potentially breaking the rules.
The NFL is not allowing Chiefs or 49ers players to engage in any type of gambling until after the Big Game is over. Players cannot even play their favorite casino games until after the final whistle.
The odds of any player being caught gambling are available at +1000. I am sure that teams will be keeping a strict eye on their players, but that does not mean that someone will not try to gamble anyway. The +1000 odds make this a good wager for a half or quarter-stake wager.
An NFL player will be caught gambling on Super Bowl Sunday (+1000)
