2024 Divisional Round Odds: Best Bets for Sunday’s NFL Games
The latest NFL Divisional Round odds have dozens of great betting markets for Sunday’s playoff games. The final two games of the NFL Divisional Round feature some of the game’s biggest stars and best storylines.
First, Detroit hosts its second playoff game at Ford Field as the Buccaneers take on the Lions. Then, Patrick Mahomes goes on the road in the playoffs for the first time to face the Bills in Buffalo. The top NFL playoff betting sites have tons of great betting markets available for these exciting games.
Keep reading to see my picks for the best bets for Sunday’s NFL Divisional Round games. I will break down my favorite bets and tell you why these wagers are the best options for this weekend. The odds for these wagers were provided courtesy of Bovada.
Bucs vs. Lions Odds
- Moneyline: Lions (-285)
- Points Spread: Buccaneers (+6.5)
- Total: Over/under 48.5 points
Sunday’s NFL doubleheader kicks off with the NFC South champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers taking on the Lions. Detroit won the NFC North for the first time ever and hosted its first playoff game at Ford Field last week.
The Lions are looking for just their second playoff win in the last 32 years in their second home playoff game at Ford Field. Bovada has the Lions as 6.5-point favorites for this game. I think Detroit (-285) will win, but the Bucs should cover, and I would take the under on the points total.
Buccaneers: Rachaad White Over 54.5 Rushing Yards (+105)
The Buccaneers were able to win at home last weekend and upset the Eagles in dominant fashion. A big reason behind Tampa Bay’s 32-9 win was the Eagles’ reluctance to tackle anyone. Philadelphia’s defense made Baker Mayfield and the Bucs look like one of the best offenses in the league.

One player who really benefited from the porous Eagles’ defense was Bucs’ RB Rachaad White. The second-year RB racked up 72 rushing yards on 18 attempts. Bovada has White listed at over/under 54.5 rushing yards for this week’s matchup with the Lions.
Detroit allowed just 1,509 rushing yards in the regular season, second-fewest in the NFL, and just 3.7 yards per carry. However, White has at least 72 rushing yards in six of his last eight games. He should get enough carries to hit the over on this total rushing yards wager.
Rachaad White has over 54.5 rushing yards (+105)
Lions: Sam LaPorta Anytime TD Scorer (+120)
A big part of the reason behind the Lions’ success this season is the emergence of two rookies. RB Jahmyr Gibbs has formed a great one-two-punch combination with veteran David Montgomery. Gibbs and fellow rookie TE Sam LaPorta both had double-digit TDs in the regular season.
Football betting sites have Gibbs listed at -130 to score a TD this weekend. LaPorta, on the other hand, is listed at +120 in anytime TD prop betting markets. I think both players are good picks to score, but LaPorta has the better payout odds, so I would go with him in this wager.
LaPorta entered last week’s contest with an injured knee and still found the endzone. He should be healthier this week, and I believe LaPorta will find the endzone again in this game.
Sam LaPorta anytime TD scorer (+120)
Lions: Jared Goff Has 275+ Passing Yards and Detroit Wins (+127)
QB Jared Goff delivered the Lions their first playoff win in over three decades last weekend. To make matters even better, Goff secured the win against his former team, the LA Rams. I think he can lead the Lions to a win over the Buccaneers, too, and get Detroit to the NFC Championship game.
Sunday's matchup between Baker Mayfield and Jared Goff will be the first time since Jan 11, 2015, when Andrew Luck and Peyton Manning faced one another, that two first-overall picks go head to head in the Divisional Round 👏 pic.twitter.com/aBDnmHqBad

Detroit will turn back into a pumpkin eventually, but it should not be this week against Tampa Bay. I trust Goff slightly more than Baker Mayfield, so I am picking Detroit to win. The Lions are listed as -285 favorites in the latest Divisional Round moneyline odds.
Bovada has Goff listed at over/under 278.5 in total passing yards bets. I think that is a good line, but the over only offers -115 payout odds. Luckily, Bovada has a playoff player performance double with much better odds.
You can bet on Goff to have 275+ passing yards and for Detroit to get the win at the same time. Both outcomes are favored and combining them gives you +127 payout odds.
Jared Goff has 275+ passing yards and Detroit wins (+127)
Chiefs vs. Bills Odds
- Moneyline: Buffalo (-150)
- Points Spread: Chiefs (+3)
- Total: Over/under 45.5 points
The final game of the Divisional Round is the frontrunner for the Game of the Year. Kansas City will take on Buffalo in Orchard Park. This matchup has created some of the most memorable playoff games in recent years.
Buffalo (-150) is favored at home, but only by three points. This could be the year the Bills finally slay the dragon, but I would take the Chiefs to cover. I would also take the over on the points total, assuming that there is not another blizzard in Buffalo this weekend.
Chiefs: Travis Kelce Anytime TD Scorer (+125)
One of the reasons the Chiefs have been able to dominate the Bills in the playoffs in recent years is TE Travis Kelce. The future Hall of Fame TE has had 214 yards and three TDs on 21 catches in the last two playoff matchups with Buffalo.

However, Kelce did have a down year by his standards. He failed to reach 1,000 receiving yards in the regular season for the first time since 2015. Kelce also had just five receiving TD this season and did not score last week against the Dolphins.
To make matters worse, Kelce has not scored a TD since the Chiefs’ Week 11 loss to the Eagles. I do think that Kelce will step up in this game against one of Kansas City’s biggest rivals, though. With that in mind, I would bet on Kelce to score a TD this weekend.

Allen and Mahomes Both Have 250+ Passing Yards a 2+ Passing TDs (+500)
Another bet that I like for this prime-time matchup is for Allen and Mahomes to both have 250+ passing yards and at least two TDs. Like an NFL playoff parlay, all four legs of this bet would have to hit for you to win.
Here are the Divisional Round odds at top sports betting sites for these four wagers individually:
- Allen at least 2 passing TDs (+100)
- Mahomes at least 2 passing TDs (-173)
- Allen 250+ passing yards (+125)
- Mahomes 250+ passing yards (-165)
If you combine all four of these bets in this playoff special, then you can get +500 payout odds instead. Two of the four options, both of the legs regard Mahomes, are favored to happen. Allen to have at least two passing TDs is a push.
I would like this bet even more if it was for total TDs instead of just passing TDs. Allen gets a lot of rushing scores, including a career-high 15 in the regular season this year. On the bright side, Allen has six total passing TDs in his two playoff games against the Chiefs.
Both QBs have piled up stats when these teams have met in the postseason in the past. Kansas City’s defense is better now than it was in those meetings, but Josh Allen is typically great in the playoffs, regardless of the quality of defense. So, I would take this special playoffs wager from Bovada.
Allen and Mahomes both have 250+ passing yards and 2+ passing TDs (+500)
Bills: Dalton Kincaid has 1+ TDs and Buffalo Wins (+353)
I think the TEs for both teams will play a big part in the outcome of this game. As I detailed above, I think Kelce will end his TD drought. I also believe that rookie TE Dalton Kincaid will find the endzone in this game.

Kincaid is listed at +260 in Bovada’s anytime TD scorer market. Buffalo is also listed at -150 in the latest moneyline odds to win the game outright. You can combine these two bets in a player performance double and get +353 payout odds.
I think that Kansas City can cover the spread, even if it is just three points. The Bills just need to win, though, regardless of the spread, for this bet to hit. Kincaid had a TD last week, and I think he will get another one this week.
Dalton Kincaid has 1+ TD and Buffalo wins (+353)
