When Is WWE Crown Jewel 2023?

The superstars of WWE are heading back to Saudi Arabia for another PLE. Crown Jewel has become a regular event on the WWE calendar and, per usual, the card is stacked with great matches.

Here is everything that viewers need to know about Crown Jewel 2023:

  • Date: Saturday, November 4th
  • Start time: 1 p.m. Eastern
  • Location: Mohammed Abdu Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Superstars from both RAW and SmackDown will be competing this Saturday. Seven matches are scheduled for the main show, including five title matches.

WWE Crown Jewel 2023 Match Card

The matchmakers at WWE have pulled out all of the stops for this year’s Crown Jewel card. Here are the seven matches currently scheduled for the PLE.

  • Cody Rhodes vs. Damian Priest
  • Rey Mysterio (c) vs. Logan Paul for the United States Championship
  • Iyo Sky (c) vs. Bianca Belair for the WWE Women’s Championship
  • John Cena vs. Solo Sikoa
  • Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Nia Jax vs. Shayna Baszler vs. Raquel Rodriguez vs. Zoey Starks for the Women’s World Championship
  • Seth Rollins (c) vs. Drew McIntyre for the World Heavyweight Championship
  • Roman Reigns (c) vs. LA Knight for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship

Notable titles not being defended include the Intercontinental Championship. The men’s and women’s tag team belts will not be defended, either.

Sami Zayn and JD McDonagh are scheduled to compete in a singles match. However, that fight will occur on the pre-show, not the main card. So, you will need to tune in even earlier than the 1 p.m. Eastern start time to catch that match.

WWE Crown Jewel 2023 Odds

This year’s WWE Crown Jewel card is packed with exciting matchups. Here are the latest betting odds for all seven matches on Saturday’s card. Odds are courtesy of BetOnline Sportsbook.

Cody Rhodes vs. Damian Priest

  • Cody Rhodes (-700)
  • Damian Priest (+400)

Cody Rhodes continues his feud with the Judgement Day this weekend as he takes on Damian Priest. Rhodes (-700) is a heavy favorite to pick up the win at Crown Jewel.

Priest will undoubtedly have help from the other members of the JD this weekend. Finn Balor and Dominik Mysterio will both likely make an appearance. The group has had many run-ins with Rhodes, including trying to break Rhodes’s ankle a few weeks ago.

Despite the interference, I think Rhodes will get the win this weekend. It will put him one step closer to eventually challenging for Roman Reigns’ world title. Also, a loss on another PLE will cause the frustration to continue to build within the Judgement Day.

Prediction:

Cody Rhodes (-700)

Rey Mysterio (c) vs. Logan Paul for the United States Championship

  • Rey Mysterio (+500)
  • Logan Paul (-1000)

One of the five championship matches scheduled for this weekend will see Rey Mysterio defend his United States Championship against Logan Paul. Paul (-1000) is a heavy favorite even though he is the challenger.

Mysterio’s reign as US champ has lasted longer than I thought it would, but I agree with the oddsmakers here. I think Paul will pick up the win this weekend and claim his first WWE title.

A win over an established legend like Mysterio will help Paul gain more credibility. He has already proven that he has the physical tools needed to succeed in the WWE. Paul will likely only be a part-time champion, but having the belt will put more of a spotlight on him when he does compete.

Prediction:

Logan Paul (-1000)

Iyo Sky (c) vs. Bianca Belair for the WWE Women’s Championship

  • Iyo Sky (c) (-300)
  • Bianca Belair (+200)

Another champion who will be defending their belt this weekend is SmackDown Women’s Champion Iyo Sky. She is listed at -300 to defeat Bianca Belair (+200) this weekend.

Belair beat Sky at WrestleMania Backlash earlier this year. The match occurred during Belair’s record-setting run with the title. Sky is the champion this time around, and she has the advantage of having the other members of Damage CTRL in her corner.

I think Sky will pick up the win this weekend for two reasons. First and foremost, it is too soon for Belair to have another run with the belt. Also, the WWE seems to be building toward a Sky vs. Bayley match in the near future and having the belt on the line would make that match mean more.

Prediction:

Iyo Sky (-300)

Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Nia Jax vs. Shayna Baszler vs. Raquel Rodriguez vs. Zoey Starks for the Women’s World Championship

  • Rhea Ripley (c) (-2500)
  • Raquel Rodriguez (+500)
  • Nia Jax (+800)
  • Shayna Baszler (+1200)
  • Zoey Stark (+1200)

The Raw Women’s title is also on the line, with Rhea Ripley (c) defending against four other superstars. Ripley (-2500) is a huge favorite despite the deck being stacked against her this weekend.

Fellow powerhouses Raquel Rodriguez (+500) and Nia Jax (+800) have the next best odds to win the match. Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark are tied for the fourth-best odds at +1200.

This is a great way for many of the up-and-coming stars in the RAWs Women’s division to get PLE exposure. It is also a great way for Ripley to drop the belt without actually having to be pinned. WWE could protect Ripley and still give the belt to someone else.

I doubt that is the path that they choose, though. Ripley needs impressive wins to make her reign have any sense of meaning. Beating four other superstars in the same match would certainly fit the bill.

Prediction:

Rhea Ripley (-2000)

John Cena vs. Solo Sikoa

  • John Cena (-120)
  • Solo Sikoa (-120)

One of the two non-title matches scheduled for WWE Crown Jewel 2023 pits John Cena vs. Solo Sikoa. BetOnline has both superstars listed at -120 in this match. Both wrestlers have been important supporting actors in the latest iteration of the Bloodline storyline.

Cena’s legacy is cemented, and a win this weekend will not help him going forward. Solo could benefit significantly from a win over one of the best to ever do it.

Sikoa has been on the losing end of many of his PLE appearances this year. He needs a win if the WWE wants him to remain a believable threat. I think he beats Cena, with his brother Jimmy Uso likely assisting him in the effort.

Prediction:

Solo Sikoa (-120)

Seth Rollins (c) vs. Drew McIntyre for the World Heavyweight Championship

  • Drew McIntyre (+250)
  • Seth Rollins (-400)

The top belts from both shows will also be on the line this weekend. From RAW, Seth “Freakin’” Rollins will defend his title against Drew McIntyre. BetOnline has Rollins listed at -400 to retain this weekend.

A big part of this storyline has been that McIntyre’s last reign came during the pandemic. As a result, he did not get the win the belt in front of fans like he had dreamed of. If I had to pick an upset this weekend, this would be the futures wager I would go with.

Losing to McIntyre would not take any of the shine off of Rollins, either. There is also the chance that the winner of this match could be on the wrong end of a Money in the Bank cash-in by Damian Priest. Ultimately, I think Rollins will win, but I do not know if he will leave the arena with the belt.

Prediction:

Seth Rollins (-400)

Roman Reigns (c) vs. LA Knight for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship

  • LA Knight (+900)
  • Roman Reigns (-5000)

Last but not least, Roman Reigns will make his return to in-ring action this weekend. He will defend his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against LA Knight. Reigns is listed at -5000 to pick up the win in Saudi Arabia.

Knight has received a major push in the last year, but he will not be the one to dethrone Reigns. The Tribal Chief has held the belt for over 3,100 days and is not going to lose until WrestleMania 40 at the earliest. Plus, Reigns still has the Bloodline, specifically Jimmy Uso, to help him cheat his way to another victory.

Prediction:

Roman Reigns (-5000)
