Golden Bachelor Odds: Season 1 Betting Odds and Prediction

You can bet on the winner of ABC’s newest dating reality show using the latest Golden Bachelor odds. The first season of the spin-off is coming to an end soon. Now is a great time to place your wagers on who Gerry will pick as his partner in the finale.

When Is the Golden Bachelor On?

The Golden Bachelor was supposed to fill a time slot on Monday nights for ABC. However, due to the WGA strikes this summer, there is a shortage of scripted shows for many major networks. As a result, the show was moved to a time slot on Thursday nights.

All episodes start at 8 p.m. Eastern time and are available to stream on Hulu the next day.

There is a gap between weeks six and seven, but there will still be an episode that week. It will be the “Women Tell All” episode.

Also, there is a gap between week seven and the finale episode. So, you will have time to catch up on any episodes you have missed before the winner is revealed.

Who Was Eliminated on the Golden Bachelor?

The first season of The Golden Bachelor started with 22 contestants. So far, 19 contestants have already been eliminated in just five episodes.

Six ladies remained heading into last week’s episode. Only three women could make it through the week, meaning three others had to go home.

Gerry and Faith went on a date that involved a helicopter ride and a yacht. At the end of the date, Faith received one of the three roses up for grabs in this episode. All of the remaining contestants then joined Gerry on a group date at a carnival.

With only two roses left, the remaining ladies pulled out all the stops. It was an emotional episode, as many of the women confessed their love for Gerry.

Sadly, The Golden Bachelor journey ended for these women in week 5:

Being eliminated the week before the hometown episodes has to be tough. The original Bachelor allows four contestants to make it to the hometowns round, but this series only has spots for three, leading to the extra elimination.

Golden Bachelor Contestants and Odds

Rounding out the remaining contestants is Faith Martin, who is currently listed at +225 in this futures wager. Faith made a name for herself in the first episode when she won the First Impression Rose. She also went on a solo date with Gerry in episode five, securing her spot in the top three when she received a rose on the date.

Theresa Nist (-105)

Theresa made a memorable first impression when she showed Gerry her “birthday suit” during the introductions. The skin-colored dress certainly helped set her apart from the other contestants.

Since then, Theresa has been one of the front-runners for this season. She received the first one-on-one date of the season. Theresa and Gerry have similar backstories as well, as they are both widowers whose first marriages ended in tragedy.

That connection has only grown stronger throughout the season, which is a big reason why Theresa is the favorite. BetUS has her listed at -105 to win the first season of The Golden Bachelor.

Theresa had run-ins with other contestants throughout this season, namely the “Askin and Tellin” group. Despite her issues with Kathy and others, she has made it to the final three. The other women Theresa had issues with have all been eliminated.

Leslie Fhima (+160)

Coming in second in the latest odds is Leslie Fhima (+160). Leslie opened up in the second episode, and even revealed that she wears hearing aids, just like Gerry.

She continued to build her connection with Gerry throughout the season. A big win for Leslie came in episode four when she was awarded the solo date with Gerry.

Leslie and Gerry rode ATVs and then shared some champagne. They also spent time in a hot tub and further built their connection. The other ladies played pickleball with Gerry on the group date, but the date was marred with drama.

Avoiding the drama-filled pickleball tournament clearly helped Leslie make it to the final three. She even beat out Ellen for the final rose last episode. Ellen had a strong connection with Gerry throughout the season, and it was surprising to see her eliminated.

Faith Martin (+225)

Faith immediately became a favorite when she was given the first impression rose in episode one. However, she took a back seat in episodes two, three, and four. Her solo date in episode five allowed her to build a better connection with Gerry and secure her spot in the three.

The fact that Faith has lasted to the final three is somewhat surprising. Typically, people who do not get a ton of screen time are eliminated.

However, it is clear that Faith and Gerry established a connection early on. The solo date allowed the duo to rekindle that connection at an opportune time.

Golden Bachelor Winner Pick

Gerry Turner’s Golden Bachelor season was designed to be shorter and more wholesome than the original show. However, there has still been plenty of drama and emotional moments for fans to enjoy.

The show has come down to three contestants: Theresa Nist (-105), Leslie Fhima (+160), and Faith Martin (+225). BetUS has Theresa favored to win, but I think Faith will be the one who is the last woman standing.

Gerry and Faith established a connection on day one, and there is clearly more to that relationship than the cameras have shown. If there were not, then she would not have made it this far. Also, Theresa’s one-on-one date in episode five gives her a huge advantage over the other two contestants.

Theresa was the center of a lot of the drama this season, and I think it could hurt her chances moving forward. Gerry is too old to want to deal with that kind of issue.

Leslie, on the other hand, flew under the radar for a lot of this season just like Faith. However, she does not have the advantage of receiving the first impression rose. Her jealousy about the other dates Gerry has been on could also hurt her chances as the show goes on.
