I am back with another brutally honest review of an online casino for my
loyal readers! This time, the subject of the review is Spinland, a newer brand
in the online casino space. In fact, before getting the call to write this
review, I had actually never heard of this site. Of course, so many sites have
either “Spin” or “land” in their names that I may not have realized that I had
seen this casino before. A quick scan of the homepage led me to believe that
this was the first time I had visited, which always has me excited for a review.

As with any of my reviews, you are going to have all the information you need
to make a choice about playing here by the time you are done reading. I never
leave any stone unturned, and I always bring you my unbiased take on a site – I
would never recommend a site that I wouldn’t play at myself.

Ratings Breakdown

Overall

This is a casino that throws jackpots and slots games in your face, which is
great if you are a fan of those things. The overall casino offering is not as
complete as many of the sites I have reviewed in the past, and the lack of a
more well-rounded solution will leave many of my readers scratching their heads.
Nevertheless, what the site does offer is quite good, and should they realize
the error of their ways, then we may see an increased exposure to more games.

Game Variety

When you start reading this review and see the number of software partners
that do business with Spinland, you may find yourself shocked at how low this
score is. Keep reading, and you will understand why I am so frustrated with this
brand. Slots are definitely the name of the game at this casino, but I want to
see more table games options added before I increase my score for this part of
the review.

Banking

Spinland is very confident in its ability to get you paid efficiently and
quickly – they claim that all payouts will occur within 48 hours and then take
no more than 3 business days to get to you. While this is a bold statement, we
like a casino that isn’t trying to delay payment, and only time will tell if
they can live up to this promise. The major forms of payments are all available
via the cashier section of the casino site.

Bonuses

This is a tricky one because I really like the welcome bonus but am left
wanting more in the way of ongoing promotions. While I understand the desire to
convert a player to real money, the site seems to miss out altogether on the
idea of keeping players sticky by offering smaller, ongoing bonuses. I am
hopeful that the site will increase its marketing reach in the coming months.

Customer Service

The live chat button that sits on each screen makes getting in touch with the
casino very easy. Of course, it also helps that an agent answers quickly when
you click on the button, and this was the case when I tested the service
department. I would like to see some FAQ added to the website and perhaps a
telephone number, but this is really nit-picking – the support department is
excellent at this casino.

User Interface

I like the modern look and feel of the site, and the navigation of the lobby
is excellent. While I question why certain tabs are needed, that would only
serve to clean things up a little and is really a minor point in the grand
scheme of things. I think you will be pleased with the ease of moving around the
site to find the games you want to play and the information you seek.

Mobile Compatibility

Given all the software vendors, it would be easy for Spinland to mess up its
mobile offering. However, I am happy to report that isn’t the case, and you can
find almost all the great titles from the desktop version in the mobile
offering. If the casino had a downloadable app, that would push my score much
higher overall for this section.

The Basics About Spinland

Spinland is one of the newer brands to hit the online casino market, having
launched only in 2017. While this would normally give me some cause for concern,
when I started to dig into the ownership and management of the group, I began to
feel more confident about the organization.

While I am not able to find out a ton about the owners of the casino, the
site is being managed and operated by White Hat Gaming out of Malta. Some of you
may recognize that name, and if you don’t, that isn’t a big issue. White Hat is
one of the largest turnkey operators in the industry. They have managed the
operations for many online gambling sites in the past and have the experience
and expertise to ensure their clients are as successful as they can be.

The site has two gaming licenses – one from Malta, and the other from the UK
Gambling Commission. Having these two licenses is another checkmark for me.
These jurisdictions are very protective of players, and both require a
significant amount of information from operators. Everything from the integrity
of the software to the checks and balances of the finances is covered by these
licenses, so you should feel as confident as I am that this site has your best
interests at heart.

One issue that arises from being this above-board with the licensing is that
there is usually along list of restricted countries that accompanies the
approval. This is the case at Spinland, as players from the following countries
are not allowed to create real-money accounts.

The Casino

Now that I am armed with a little more information about the company and its
management, I feel like I am able to turn my attention to the casino offering
itself. The homepage of Spinland is very modern, which is not really surprising
considering the site is only a year old. I like the look and feel of the site,
and the navigation is excellent as well. After creating an account and getting
it funded, it was time to take a look at the casino lobby.

Software

Well, the first thing I noticed when checking out the casino lobby at
Spinland was the sheer number of suppliers that are available. This comes
directly from the White Hat Gaming relationship – they have created partnerships
with all these firms to bring a diverse set of games to their operators. Just
look at the names of some of the companies whose games you will find in the
Spinland lobby:

  • Microgaming
  • NetEnt
  • Evolution Gaming
  • NYX Interactive
  • Aristocrat
  • Leander Games
  • Quickspin
  • Thunderkick
  • 1×2 Gaming
  • Rabcat
  • Blueprint
  • 2 x 2 Games
  • Big Time Gaming
  • Elk Studios
  • Foxium
  • Games Warehouse
  • Genesis
  • Merkur
  • Just For The Win
  • Lightning

This is a great mix of new companies and some of the top providers who have
been around since the beginning of the industry.

Slots

With this many software providers, the logical place for me to start my
playing review is in the slots section. Here is where you will find the obvious
differences in the software being offered, as slots graphics and sounds are much
easier to make unique than table games. The quality of the games is undeniable,
and I was immediately attracted to the list of progressive jackpot games
available. Jackpots have their own tab in the casino lobby, and the slots make
up the majority of the over $20 million currently up for grabs at Spinland!

Of the hundreds of slots titles available in the catalog at Spinland, I
thought these games were of particular interest to my readers.

  • 5 Reel Drive
  • 7 Lucky Dwarfs
  • A Dragon’s Story
  • Adventure Palace
  • Agent Jane Blonde
  • Alaskan Fishing
  • Avalon II: The Quest for the Grail
  • A While on the Nile
  • Babushkas
  • Bangkok Nights
  • Bonanza
  • Boom Brothers
  • Boxo
  • Couch Potato
  • Count Duckula
  • Creature from the Black Lagoon
  • Cricket Star
  • Crime Scene
  • Crocodopolis
  • Dragon Palace
  • Dragon Slot
  • Dragons Mystery
  • Fairies Forest
  • Fairytale Legends: Hansel & Gretel
  • Frozen Diamonds
  • Fruit Case
  • Guns N’ Roses
  • Jungle Jackpots – Mowgli’s Wild Adventure
  • Jungle Jim El Dorado
  • Jungle Spirit: Call of the Wild
  • Jurassic Park
  • Monster Wins
  • Motörhead
  • Pyramid: Quest for Immortality
  • Quake
  • Queen of the Nile II
  • Starburst
  • What a Hoot
  • When Pigs Fly
  • And many more!

There are a ton of entertainment-branded slots as well as everything from the
classic 3-reel games to the most advanced bonus rounds. There really is
something for everyone here.

Video Poker

Next up for my playing test is video poker. This is a game that I grew up
playing when I started in the casino business, and to this day, I still consider
it my favorite game. I am not sure if it is because of the suspense in trying to
draw cards to a winning hand or that the game’s speed closely resembles that of
a slot machine, but I have been drawn to all the formats of video poker since I
first got my hands on it.

This may be why I am so disappointed by what I found at Spinland. I have
played a lot of video poker at online casinos, and I am well aware of what some
of these suppliers offer their operators. So, when I clicked on the poker tab of
the site, I was shocked to only see two versions of the game:

  • Aces and Eights
  • Jacks or Better

Don’t get me wrong – the average player may only need those two games. But as
someone who knows the casino could offer far more titles, it’s a real bummer
only to have two to choose from. The quality of the games is excellent, and if
you haven’t played video poker before them, you will enjoy these versions.
However, if you are looking for something more, then my suggestion is that you
try another one of the casinos I have reviewed.

Table Games

After being so bitter after my video poker discovery, I had hoped the next
part of my review, able games, would end up being more pleasant. When I clicked
on that tab, my disappointment continued. At first, it looked like there were
loads of games to choose from. I quickly realized, however, that this was really
just a series of different blackjack and roulette variants. Why the casino
doesn’t offer more table games is beyond my comprehension. I am aware that they
are focused on slots games, but with no physical real estate to worry about and
over a dozen software vendors, only offering these games is ridiculous.

  • Blackjack
  • Roulette
  • Three Card Poker

Now, if you are a lover of blackjack or roulette, then you will find some
great options here at Spinland, but if you are looking for other games like Pai
Gow or baccarat, then you are out of luck.

Live Casino

Thankfully, where Spinland falls down from a digital table game offering,
they make up for with their live dealer casino. These games, which involve a
live dealer on your screen being streamed from a studio, are provided by
Evolution Gaming. Evolution has been building live dealer games exclusively for
a decade, and with multiple studios around the world, the company is the leader
in the space.

I love these games because they feel far more interactive than other online
casino games. I spent a good amount of time playing these games at Spinland,
mainly because there weren’t many RNG options available in the lobby! Here are
the games you can choose from in the live dealer tab.

  • Dream Catcher
  • Live Roulette
  • Live Blackjack
  • Live Baccarat
  • Live Casino Holdem
  • Live Ultimate Texas Holdem
  • Live Caribbean Stud
  • Live Three Card Poker

Banking Options

As with many sites that are licensed by Malta and UK, the payment options
reflect legal gaming jurisdictions. Yes, you can use your credit cards to make
deposits, but you can also choose to use one of the many e-wallet solutions that
are available.

One thing that Spinland prides itself on is the speed of its payouts. In
fact, the site claims that everyone’s withdrawals will be processed within 48
hours. Following that, it appears according to the site that it will take up to
3 business days to get to your bank, depending on the method you have chosen. I
haven’t tested it myself yet, but there are no indications on any forums that
the company isn’t living up to its promise.

Below are the payment methods that you can use at this casino. The minimum
deposit is $20, and the minimum withdrawal is also $20, and nowhere on the site
does it give you a maximum withdrawal amount.

Bonus Promotions

Now you have a real sense of what this casino is offering. If you are still
reading, it likely means you are satisfied with what Spinland has from a games
perspective, and now you want to know what’s in it for you. Well, the good news
is that the company seems to be very proactive when it comes to marketing, and
there are several great promotions on the website. I am going to focus on a few
of them now.

Welcome Bonus

I always start with the welcome bonus at any casino, largely because I
typically take advantage of it when depositing for my review! The Spinland
welcome offer is right on their screen – up to $3,000 in welcome bonuses. The
bonus is a 200% bonus on your first deposit up to a deposit of $1,500 – which
would then give you $4,500 to play with. The welcome bonus also comes with 50
free spins no matter what amount you deposit.

Looking at this offer in more detail, the wagering requirement is 35x the
bonus amount, which is pretty competitive compared to other sites. However, the
bonus is restricted to only a few games, including slots, so if you are looking
to play table games and earn your bonus, you may be out of luck.

There are bonuses for your second and third deposits as well, so overall, I
think this is a great series of welcome offers to try to commit to being a
real-money player at the site.

Land of Prizes

This is another interesting offer that gives you a chance to win a trip on an
African safari! The rules are pretty simple – this is a promotion that is based
on deposits, not on play. For every $50 you deposit, you earn 100 qualifying
points, and you get one entry in the monthly draw for every 1000 points you
earn. In theory, you need to deposit $500 for each ticket in the draw. This
means that there probably aren’t too many players in each draw, giving you a
good chance of winning!

Mobile Compatibility

As with many European-facing sites, Spinland is formatted to fit the screen
size of most phones and tablets. Mobile gaming is hugely popular in Europe, so
not having a decent mobile option for players is despicable and very bad for
business.

The mobile offering from Spinland is a no-download, browser-based system.
With so many different software vendors offering games at this casino, building
one app to house them all would simply be impossible. For the time being,
players can access the website, their accounts, and the games from any device
with a browser and connected to the internet.

The games I tried from my iPhone were excellent, with no real signs of lag at
all. While I would like to see the company get around to building an app, you
can save the link to the login page, and that puts you one step closer to
accessing the lobby screen quickly.

Customer Service

One thing I noticed right away from the homepage of Spinland was the
ever-present button for live chat. The dynamic button moves as you move around
the screen, and with a click, you are connected to a live agent to help you with
any issues you have. I was able to ask a couple of questions during my session
and found the agent to be very helpful and quick to get me the answers I needed.

If you need to contact the casino by other methods, you can try using the
email address that is provided on the support page of the website.

Summary

When all is said and done, my job is to give you a full review of a casino,
including my opinion on the site compared to other options in the market. When I
finished my review of Spinland, I was torn. The casino offers great games from
excellent suppliers, but for some reason has chosen not to offer many of the
standard table games and video poker options available to them.

While the casino has a decent welcome bonus and a VIP program, I would like
to see a few more ongoing offers. I have to assume some are reserved for direct
marketing purposes. There are lots of ways to get your money to and from the
site, and although I haven’t confirmed it personally, it appears players are
getting paid quickly by the team.

Verdict

Overall, my verdict on Spinland is mixed. If you are looking for a site that
offers great slot machines and tons of progressive jackpots, then this is
definitely the place for you. However, if you want a more well-rounded casino
experience, then I would suggest you try somewhere else. I have reviewed
hundreds of casinos, so you will find other, more suitable options for you.

FAQ

How come I don’t see all the payment options when I am in the cashier?

Some of the payment methods listed are specifically for players from
individual countries. When you are logged in and head to the cashier, the
options that are available for your region will be presented. This allows you to
easily select the option that works best for you from a list that the casino has
curated for your needs.

This is a new casino. Should I be concerned about it staying in business?

I will admit that when I review a casino this new, I am hesitant to give it a
great rating. Typically, I like to see that a casino has been in business for a
few years to ensure its stability. However, the fact that White Hat Gaming is
involved lends a lot of credibility to the organization, so you should feel
confident in that information.

I have an issue with the casino that isn’t getting resolved. What do I do?

This is where it is important to see where a casino is licensed. In this
case, you can reach out to either the UK Gambling Commission or the Malta Gaming
Authority, and from there, you can lodge a formal complaint against the casino.
Please be prepared to provide all the necessary documentation, as the regulator
takes these complaints very seriously and will do everything they can to resolve
the situation.

Why can’t I use Bitcoin to deposit here?

Bitcoin, along with all the other cryptocurrencies, is still a relatively new
form of payment for online casinos. The currency is still very volatile itself,
so in many cases, a casino operator simply doesn’t want to risk any fluctuations
in the value of Bitcoin until it is a more concrete form of payment. If you
really want to use Bitcoin, then check out some of my other reviews for sites
that accept this form of payment.

It appears some of the games you listed aren’t in the lobby. Is this normal?

Similar to the issue with localized payment methods, some software providers
restrict where people can play their games from geographically. This may mean
that some of the games we can see when we review the site will not be available
in your region. Hopefully, this will not have an adverse impact on your overall
enjoyment of the site.
