Our Unbiased Review of EGB.com
Author: GamblingSites.org | Last Updated: April 2023While EGB is great for experienced eSports bettors, if you’re looking for a user-friendly site with a larger variety of betting options, we recommend Betway.

on who will win an esports match or tournament. On top of that, you can also bet
on individual things that might happen within a match. The options are endless,
and the betting action is exploding by the day.Because of this, we knew it was only a matter of time until some smart minds
got together and put out a fully dedicate esports betting platform. Currently,
you can bet on esports at several online sportsbooks and casinos, but usually
only on a limited number of games.EGB.com flips the script on this one and opens up the ability to bet on
everything esports. While the concept is amazing and really got our staff
excited, we still wanted to make sure that the site was worth the hype. We’ve
seen things before that excited us that turned out to be utter garbage, and we
wanted to make sure that was not the case with this site.We put our team on the task of reviewing EGB.com and seeing if it was worth
your time, if you’re looking to bet on esports. As with all of our reviews, we
NEVER let any site pay for a better review or convince us to report anything but
the truth. If you’ve seen any of our other reviews, you know we have no shame in
blasting a site to smithereens if it doesn’t live up to our high standards. A
review is pointless to you if it’s not accurate and thorough. We always make
sure to give you the full picture and include the good, the bad and sometimes
the ugly. With that all said, let’s dig into EGB.com and see if our excitement is
warranted or if we’re going to be let down.Ratings Breakdown
Overall
EGB.com offers a ton of great betting options on all of the most popular
esports games and tournaments. They look to have decent options for loading
money, and great options for getting your winnings off quickly. All of these are
great things to see. There is some evidence of the site’s infancy, though, in
things that we would like to see tightened up a bit. The layout of the site
isn’t great, and seems to be designed for more advanced bettors. It’s not a deal
breaker, but it will have a learning curve for new or inexperienced bettors. Our
final verdict is that if you’re looking to bet esports, this site is definitely
a win for you.Game Offered
With 10 different game offerings and space for more growth, this is easily
the most we’ve seen from any sort of sports betting or esports website.
Typically, sites only offer 2-4 options, if they even offer esports at all. Not
much more to say, other than we are pleased with the offerings here.Bets Offered
Again, this is a full 5 out of 5 from us. Not only do the offer win/loss bets
on the matches and tournaments, but they offer prop bets on each. This gives you
the ultimate flexibility to leverage any predictions or knowledge you might have
on a team or particular game.User Interface
This is one area of the site that needs some work. The “important” part of
the site (the betting area) is clean and well laid out, but it favors
experienced bettors, and could be a slightly steep learning curve for new or
inexperienced bettors. Once you understand it, though, it is a nice layout, so
it’s definitely not a deal breaker. The rest of the site layout needs work, as
finding things took a little longer than we’d like, and we had to do more
digging than we wanted to.Banking
Withdrawal options are great and look to be quick. They also have adequate
limits as well as one fee-free withdrawal a month. Following that, there is a
fee on more than one withdrawal a month, but that is definitely an industry
standard. Regarding deposits, it was a bit of a challenge for us to get the
information as it wasn’t readily posted. According to EGB support, once you
create an account you can easily see all of that information, but we’d prefer to
be able to see if before creating an account. Most likely, the deposit options
are great, and this score should be higher, but we want information to be easily
accessible.Customer Service
Regarding options available, the site does a great job of offering phone,
email and live chat. We tested out the customer service, and they did an ok job
with our request. We would have liked a bit more help. It seems the customer
service (at least via live chat) is on the lower end of the pay scale and could
be trained better. Granted, this was from one interaction with them, so it could
be skewed, but we are firm believers that customer service experiences should
great every single time.Esports Games and Bets Offered
One of the most important factors at an esports-dedicated betting site is
going to be what games they offer bets on. If they only offer bets on the same
few that you can get at a traditional sportsbook, then what’s the point of going
to a dedicated site? The answer is that there would be no point. Most
sportsbooks currently offer between 2-4 different games for you to bet on. We do
anticipate this to grow in the future, but for now, that’s the most we’ve seen.EGB.com offers an impressive list of 10 sports as well as an ‘Other’ tab with
more options. We’ve listed the sports currently available below:- Counter-Strike
- Dota 2
- Hearthstone
- HeroesOfTheStorm
- LoL
- Overwatch
- Rocket League
- Smite
- StarCraft2
- World Of Tanks
Within each of these different sports are a lot of different betting options.
Most of the options are win/loss bets, but several also have the ability to bet
some props. These are bets like “will/will not win 11 rounds,” “first kill in
round 1” and “will/will not win map 16.” Note that these are just a few quick
examples that we pulled from random matches. Basically, you have the flexibility
to bet on a lot of different aspects of each match.User Interface
The user interface refers to the ease of navigating the site and placing your
bets. This should be a simple process that doesn’t require you to strain or want
to pull out your hair. The EGB user interface was ok in our book. It wasn’t bad,
but it wasn’t great; it was just ok.First, let’s talk about the things that we liked. The top section of the site
had a lot of different filters and ways to select what you’re wanting to see.
This was great, and did make finding specific bets easy (as long as you knew
what you were looking for first). The site also had the ability to adjust the
spacing on the odds board which, at first, we thought was silly, but then when
we used it, it actually makes things much more aesthetically pleasing and easy
on the eyes. Our issues with the interface are ones that would be short lived if you were
a regular bettor on the site. The betting odds use a lot of shorthand and
abbreviations (which we understand as there are so many). The problem with this
is that it can be a bit intimidating for a new bettor to find some easy bets to
get started. If you’re a seasoned online sports bettor, you will have no
problems with this interface. If you’re new, though, there is going to be a learning curve that may take a
little while. The good news is that once you learn to use the interface, you’ll
probably like it a lot more than the simplistic ones. The thing is that you have
to be willing to put in a little extra time to understand everything.Overall, the interface is, as we said, ok. EGB.com could definitely improve
it to be a bit more user-friendly for beginners, but it’s by no means a deal
breaker. One additional thing that we want to note is the organization of the other
links on the site could use a bit of an overhaul. It’s a nit-picky request, but
finding some of the pertinent information is a bit more challenging than it
should be. For example, we thought the site had no bonus promotions until we
located the FAQ and found a bonus tab buried in there. This should be something
that is prominently posted on the homepage and easy to find. What was most surprising about that example was that they had a great $600
100% deposit bonus. It’s not like EGB’s bonus programs were bad, so you would
think they would want to be broadcasting them to the world as much as possible.Banking Options
Deposits
It was a little confusing to figure out what options they had for depositing
because they did not have a dedicated banking tab for deposits. Again, from
scouring the site, it looks like they do have great options, but they don’t have
them organized well for quick reference. We reached out to support (as an added chance to test them out), and they
were not much help. They did say that there were deposit options available for
all of the withdrawal options, but they didn’t have any other information they
could give us. We would assume that the deposits are all fee-free, and they are
all instant, but it would be really nice to be able to see this information
ourselves.Withdrawals
The withdrawal options were much easier to find, and had the pertinent
information needed:- Skrill
- Neteller
- Yandex.Money
- Webmoney
- Qiwi
- Visa
- MasterCard
- Moneta.ru:
From $15 to $20000. Withdrawal within 24 hours.
From $15 to $20000. Withdrawal within 24 hours.
From $15 to $600. Withdrawal within 72 hours.
From $15 to $2000. Withdrawal within 7 days.
Withdrawal within 72 hours, available only for accounts pegged to
Russian phone numbers. From $200 to $1000. Withdrawal may last up to 10 working days and
depends on the beneficiary bank. From $200 to $1000. Withdrawal may take up to 10 working
days and depends on the beneficiary bank. From $15 to $10000. Withdrawal within 24 hours.
The site allows you one free cashout a month, which is great to see. After
that, the fee does go to 4% of the withdrawal amount with no cap. This is not
ideal, but with the limits above, you should be able to get all your banking
done in one free transaction.Customer Service
It looks like EGB has several different options for customer service
including an FAQ page for self-service options, emails, phone and customer
service support. We’re always pleased when we see a site covering all of the
bases when it comes to customer service. When they hide them or they are
inaccessible, we worry. If you read earlier in this review, we contacted support about finding out
some information about deposit options. We told them that we wanted the
information without creating an account. They were less than helpful.
Personally, we feel this shouldn’t be that hard of a request for a site to
comply with. That information should be readily available. Yes, they did give us
a solution, if we had an account, but they still should have had a solution if
we didn’t want to make an account yet. This was just one request, and an odd one at that, but we still would have
liked to see a better response. Cheap outsourcing is never a smart business
